Politics / Re: Nnamdi Kanu, Reconcile With Asari Dokubo - Ohanaeze Begs by Xander85: 11:09am On May 09, 2019
onyeopobo:
Wow a very very insulting article,

Which mod edited this article to look like this,- Ohanaeze Begs Kanu to reconcile with Asari -, however the content states that it's some other organization that claims to be a youth arm of Ohanaeze. Why not say in the heading that it's a youth ohanaeze.

This whole article and organization appears to be created to insult igbo people. Why would a group bearing the name of Ohanaeze be asking Asari to settle for peace between SS and SE. Is Asari the King of SS, what relevance is Asari in the SS. Does the Obong of Calabar answer to Asari? Does Oba of Benin Answer to Asari. What type of insult is this to the South South People. After Asari left his problem with Kanu and started insulting all igbo people who represent over 20% of the people residing in the south south, they still expect asari to be apologized to. Ir means obviously this article was paid for by asari.

And those of you who are looking for who to insult, please stop using "Ijaw", Asari is actually an Okrika Man, and it was only recently (during OBJs regime) that the people of Okrika started accepting that they should be called ijaw people. There is no semblance whatsoever between Okrika and Izon (who are the real ijaw people). The term ijaw is now used to describe the riverine tribes of niger delta a political front, and some of those communities are igboid speaking. If you are igbo man insulting "the term ijaw" you are also insulting yourself, same goes to any ijoid person claiming ijaw and insulting igbo people.

This nairaland is really just a place for nigerians to become tribalistic.

As soon as i saw the thread title i knew what was going on: another thread to denigrate Ndigbo and give opportunity for Igbo haters and lovers of 'one Nigeria' to insult us, Mazi Kanu, IPOB and the Biafran project! I wasn't proven wrong! smiley

You see such a useless thread filled with insults towards us still up and in the politics section, with the hypocritical bastards left to carry on with their wankfest, but the moment i reply one of these fools in kind, they recoil in horror, take offence, and start giving me unsolicited lecture on the badness of abuse! Not to mention the fact that they've left such a misleading topic in the politics section, but if it's a thread that shows them and their 'one Nigeria' up now they quickly dump it in a dead section that hardly gets any traffic! Go see what they did with a genuine thread on the coming together of some East African countries to form a political and economic union, started by Rossiki....they saw some truths being said there they perhaps weren't comfortable with, and they quickly dumped it in the foreign affairs section, and that's how the thread has take die!

I believe Buhari is a crook and lost that election! But be that as it may, dude is going nowhere anytime soon! No forget say na Naija we dey....after bullying Onnoghen out of office, Buhari now has the judiciary in his pocket and this is why he doesn't give a fuc/k about tribunal or no tribunal! wink

The only way Buhari can give up his stolen mandate is through bloodshed! You people don't know you opened Pandoras' box by allowing him to be declared winner in 2015! We're now living with the consequences!

Hehehehehe grin grin grin

Looks like bros Pazienza has been won over to the Biafran project! shocked

Fact of the matter is; whether within a wider Nigerian framework or us going it alone as an independent nation, all true Ndigbo want is for us not to be joined at the hip with hypocritical diabolical peoples that wish us evil....for us to have the freedom to use our God-given resources as we deem fit....and for us to be able to chart our own course for economic success without having to answer to Abuja!

I say true Ndigbo because there are quite a few on here and out in the real world who claim to be Igbo but feel indifferent towards the travails their people have gone though in Nigeria since the 50s when we first started getting butchered in the north!

Some may confuse our confidence and drive to succeed for being brash, cocky and outspoken. But this notwithstanding, if given the opportunity to soar, Igbos will be an asset to any country that's built on God; merit; respect for life; and fairness! That Nigeria is where it is today, coupled with the claim of marginalisation by Igbos in 'one Nigeria' is more than just a coincidence!

Buhari/APC have given Ndigbo the lovely present of finally killing off the narrow-gauge railway the GEJ admin succeeded in restarting in the east.

At least they should have left things as they met them, if they felt they didn't want to treat the east on a equal footing with the west and north by building a standard-gauge railway line in the region. But no....they just had to kill the one they met on ground, while spending billions of dollars on the other two regions.

Of course they would argue that the east is a junior partner in the 'one Nigeria' project, and hence should wait its turn until after the two '1st class' regions get theirs; they would argue that the east hates Buhari, and hence he's justified in denying them equal treatment treatment with the other 'favoured' regions; they would argue that the east didn't vote for Buhari, and hence they shouldn't expect any federal infrastructure....that they should go to GEJ to collect it!

INNOSON should build a factory in Sierra Leone to supply the rest of West Africa and indeed the world.

Sierra Leone government will offer INNOSON massive support to invest in their country and also assist INNOSON to have a smooth operations and export based business since they will be benefiting from taxes and export of INNOSON vehicles made in Sierra Leone.

Also import dutues are a lot cheaper in Sierra Leone than Nigeria. Therefore, the cost of manufacturing a unit will also be cheaper. Hopefully, INNOSON will seriously consider expanding to other African countries in a similar fashion that Dangote expanded his business to build cement factories in more than 30 African countries.

Your last sentence: for that to happen he needs a huge injection of funds. You can forget him going the Dangote way of taking loans at favourable terms because he doesn't have the connections Dangote has. His next option, which is feasible, would be to go PLC and raise funds from the capital market.

Love this! This is what i want Igbo businesses to do....expand into other parts of Africa and the rest of the world! The business environment in Nigeria is stifling and unpredictable for hardworking and well-off Igbo due to inexplicable hatred, jealousy, bigotry and negative governmental policies targeted at Igbo businesses and businesses men. No matter the kind of challenges they face in these countries, it can never be as bad as what they face in Nigeria!

Politics / Re: This What Biafra Need To Do. by Xander85: 1:31pm On May 07, 2019
There’s something people are failing to understand...or maybe they know but are pretending not to: in the event of full-blown hostilities breaking out between the fulani army of Nigeria and Biafran secessionist elements, Biafra doesn’t even need to be having the upper-hand to get the result they’re looking for! Once the international community steps in to end hostilities, just know it will either sound the death-knell for ‘one Nigeria’, or drastically change its political-economy....possibly reverting back to pre-1967 settings!

In either case, it would be a victory for not only Ndigbo/Biafrans, but for all ethnicities and regions tired of the present fulani hegemony and bullying! They will now be free to control their own resources and chart a course for socio-economic development free from arewa involvement; nepotism; quota-system; fulani herdsmen; mediocrity; and cluelessness!

WHY IS IT ALWAYS BLACKS AT THE RECEIVING END WHYYYY

It's a complicated issue...not just one or two reasons can be adduced for this. But the primary reason is that slavery (the one carried out by Arabs as well as the Europeans) caused a huge social and psychological dislocation among the black African populace (whether they're found in Haiti, the US, Britain or sub-saharan Africa). The fact that Africa now has live with the fall-out of colonialism and the ongoing effects of neo-colonialism isn't helping as well.

For whatever reason, they came up against the kind of attention and scrutiny NO COMPANY...WHETHER NIGERIAN OR FOREIGN OWNED would come up against and not fall foul of one regulation/law or the other!

So they did what all if not most Nigerian and foreign owned companies are doing....have a Fulani oligarch or one with access to Aso-Rock up there at boardroom level to help save them from Buhari and his ethno-religious inspired mood swings! Can’t say i blame them!

Buhari sees us as easy to marginalise, oppress and ignore because of this lack of cohesiveness among us and the fact our greedy political elite are not onside in the struggle!

Remember when Mazi Kanu was gathering huge crowds in the south-east before he was illegally held in jail by the Buhari mafia? If you recall, Buhari was sufficiently rattled to the point of inviting the Igbo elite led by this same Nwodo and others! After the meeting, Nwodo talked about the demands they made which included utilisation of coal in the east for power generation; railways; adequate operation of seaports in the east; upgrading operations at AIIA Enugu; etc! This was like two years or so ago....up till today we’ve not seen any sign these demands are being met! Buhari only agreed to meet them to buy himself some time!

My point is that if we all pull in the same direction we can achieve much more, and end the mistreatment we’ve been suffering in this country since the end of the uncivil war!

These stupid Igbo elite that place their political careers and obeisance to the Fulani hegemony before the wider Igbo interest are a huge part of our problem! No matter how you slice and dice it, if we can’t get them to fall in line with the emancipation agenda then our freedom will be much more difficult to achieve!

It’s these pathetic slaves to the ‘one Nigeria’ project who have been piloting our affairs from the early 70s to date and who purport to represent us at the centre, that are a big part of the reason Igbo haters see us as easy to marginalise and take for granted! This is why they operate at cross-purposes with IPOB and Mazi Kanu; Mazi Kanu and IPOB represent the end to their useless privileges and ill-gotten wealth acquired through politics!

Notice the sign says it’s an Anambra State government project! A problem as huge as this left for the state government to tackle, yet people say Anambra in particular and Igbos in general should be happy and content with the Buhari government and ‘one Nigeria’! Go see how Buhari is mobilising international support and funds to tackle the Lake Chad issue, and convening stakeholders meetings with the presidents of other countries surrounding the Lake; he’s investing much effort into tackling the issue because it’s in his Arewa-north! Now turn the page to the environmental issues equally faced by the south-east, and it’s every-man-for-himself!
