When i say Igbo success is attributable to the culture, this is what i mean. |
junkiesneverdie:Noticed it too! As a wannabe ‘change-agent’ in the core north, whatever you’re cooking up by way of being ‘progressive’ or effecting ‘change from the norm’ had better be in tune and acceptable to the palate of the ruling elite that have ran things in the region since the times of the Sadauna, or else there’ll be hell to pay! |
Can we see a bit more of Abakaliki besides this flyover/mall/ecumenical-centre area that’s always shown!? |
yemaldo:Basic rudimentary technology that if given the time and support would have become cutting-edge today! |
NwaforIgbo:NwaforIgbo my black ass! How a so-called Igbo man can read a post that says Ndigbo gave the bigot Buhari 5% and hence deserve the least attention from this divisive and projects from his gov't, and not find it repugnant says more about the validity of your claim to be Igbo than anything else! If they don't consider Igbos as below the Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba, why can't they start a multi-million dollar project from the south-east region....why does it always have to be the south-west of core-north/Abuja? Is it the railways; the new airport terminals; dry/river ports....they always start from the north or south-west with the justification (as claimed in the post i initially quoted) that Igbos are being dealt with for not voting for Buhari! Yet, you that claims to be Igbo doesn't find this worrisome! |
hotwater1:Quite sad really! |
You people come up with ever more inventive ways to justify why the south-east and south-south don’t see the same level of attention, investments and pace of federally assisted development as the south-west and core-north! You’re now basically saying the Onitsha port is ready and primed for full operations, but can’t commence just yet because Julius Berger blocked or is it dammed the River Niger! |
Chukwurah003:That’s the problem with you Nigerians....you’re in perpetual ‘election mode’! You view everything....EVERYTHING through the prism of power-play, who’s won and lost, and which religion/region/ethnicity has gained the upper-hand over the other/s! This same gloating ‘we-won...you-lost’ attitude you exhibited after the 2015 elections (and everyone has seen how you’ve governed Nigeria since then) is the very same attitude you’re using after the farcical 2019 elections, even when it’s apparent you haven’t got a clue how to govern or unite a country as huge and complex as Nigeria! And when are you going to stop pretending to be Igbo and answer you real papa name!? Chukwurah indeed! |
Hehehehe ![]() Some will read the name of the wonder boy and groan in desperation, saying ‘here we go again’! ![]() |
buharitill2023:You people are as slippery an eel and as evasive as the Artful Dodger! So true federalism in your books means we should still have big government controlled by Abuja, with the feeding-bottle/quasi-unitary system still in place abi!? Nice try! |
This is where you’ll know power pass power! ![]() |
Impressive stuff! They could pay the village youth a token to sweep some of those roads with sediment gathering on them. It takes away from the beauty of the spanking new roads! My only problem with him is his blatant currying of fulani favour even if it means besmirching the memory of his kinfolk lost in the uncivil war! |
You probably overstayed your welcome! |
etrouble:You people are disgusting!....Seriously!!! |
Visit to Ebonyi. Check out the intra-village roads...all well done, with street lights added for extra pizzazz: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-2jwv2X1XE |
AnambraforPeter:Building looks refreshingly different from the normal buildings we see being put up for public use in some of our states. |
MXr8p:Give it time! It’s not negative news about some peeps with Igbo names caught abroad and accused of trafficking drugs, so it will take a little while longer to hit front-page! ![]() |
LazyGold:Context mate...context! They probably wouldn’t be bragging this much about the feat if they didn’t have bigots like you saying they amount to nothing based solely on who they are and where they’re from! They’re only doing it to wind you and your ilk up....apparently it’s working! |
AuthorityXYZ:There’s no such thing as ‘superior Igbo blood’! Your post is in bad taste! Why Igbos excel has to do with the culture and nothing with genetics! |
rawtouch:More like slim-shady! ![]() |
I wonder how thieves had the boldness to strip the building of all its bespoke fixtures and fittings seeing as it’s so close to gov’t house! ![]() Knowing how we do things, i think you’re right to be afraid Ugwuanyi will do a whack job on this....just to tick the box that he’s completed another abandoned project! |
MASSOB should stop whining and actively work for either a comprehensive restructure of the political-economy or total separation from Nigeria! Nigeria as presently constituted is at cross-purposes with the best interests of the eastern region! |
astrodome:Fair enough! Could have still mentioned marijuana instead, as i'm sure others would have made the same mistake...thought it was another tribal thread, and not bothered reading the OP! |
You couldn't be more obvious in your bigotry even if you tried! 'Igbo grandmothers' indeed! |
Scenic drive through the Enugu countryside. Just check out the serenity, cleanliness, greenery and rolling hills! Alaigbo really is beautiful! Video courtesy, Njenje Media TV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Mh-xZJPMwQ |
leokid866:Silly assertion! You have an over-bloated opinion of yourself and your country if you think the west would be quaking in their boots at the prospect of Nigeria splitting into smaller more manageable countries! Just what is it that they’re gaining from your Nigeria now that they can’t do without in the face of genocide, mass migration and starvation in the event of a bloody civil war!? Is it oil and gas? All Biafra, Niger Delta or whichever country would emerge from the region need do is cut a deal with world powers like Russia, the US, Israel, etc, to sell them oil and gas at a fraction of the price Nigeria is currently selling it, and voila....done deal! That is when you’ll know the hydrocarbons belong to them and not some greedy, leeching oligarchs in far-flung regions! You look at no nonsense leaders like Trump, Netanyahu and Putin, and you reckon they’ll side with murderous jihadists against oppressed southerners who they have more in common with? You think this is the lawless 60s when you got away with murder? Just pray, civil war doesn’t break out because that would spell the end to your gravy-train that’s ‘one Nigeria’! |
Chavens:I see some of those pics, and just shake my head! It would take just a little attention to detail to make Owerri the most beautiful state capital in the country, but i just don't know the kind of 'local' people we have in charge in that state! These guys go abroad with heavy estacode and see how well-planned and spotless their cities are...with attention paid to detail, yet they come back and give us stuff like this! The little they manage to do isn't even maintained and cleaned well on a regular basis! |
simplycarro:I could flip the script and tell you to go ask Igbos how many of the lives have been lost to dagger wielding almajiris anytime you lot want to protest against....against anything that rubs you up the wrong way to be honest! Lives...trucks, now which would i say is more valuable!? Hmmmm, tough question init? |
simplycarro:Dude, you're waffling! Mazi Kanu left the comfort of his London abode and came back to your shithole of a country to look your despotic god Buhari in the eye and tell him he's mad! On the instructions of that bastard you call your president, he was illegally held by your fulani DSS for more than a year even after the courts granted him bail! When he was released, he fearlessly was going around holding rallies....sensitising Ndigbo on the need to have a separate existence from devilish hypocritical scum like you! The fulani gov't, now seeing they didn't have a leg to stand on in court, decided to dispense with the legal route and do things there way by going medieval on Mazi Kanu: they sent their soldiers down to Afaraukwu in the name of some stupid snake dance to go see if they could finish him off once and for all! But God pass una....Mazi Kanu got wind of your devilish intentions and, with the help of friendly countries, was spirited out of the hell-hole you call 'one Nigeria' and granted free passportless and visaless entry into one of the most protected countries in the world...the State of Israel! Now after reading the aforementioned, does it sound like the actions of the 'coward' in your estimation? To be honest, i see the makings of a script for a blockbuster Hollywood movie up there...a movie that shows how good triumphs over evil! I'd pick Chiwetelu Ejiofor to play the part of Mazi Kanu! Where does this accusation of being a 'porn-star' come from? You talking of the video the fulani DSS found on his device when they stormed his home and subsequently leaked on the net in the hope of denting his soaring image? That video has made me love him all the more! He has a pretty wife any red-blooded male would be happy to have and i don't see what the problem is there! At least he's not raping underaged little girls of 13 and 14 like most of you toe-rags do in the name of marriage! If you've stolen more videos of Mazi Kanu and his wife, feel free to share them as well! This talk of 'child molester', who's that in relation to? Quite frankly, scum like you and yours, who can't detach yourselves from the very same people you passionately despise are the biggest cowards, frauds and hypocrites this geographical expression called Nigeria has ever had the misfortune to be saddled with, and for the country to ever stand a chance of being united and making progress, your sort have to be taken out of the equation in whatever way possible! Cheers mate! ![]() |
emyrald91:I hope they do a quality job! I'm not feeling that cheap looking red aluminium roof i'm seeing in some of the pics! ![]() |
jampro123:Rochas and Ugwuanyi are just as passionate as the El-Rufai you're cheering a project the federal gov't built! Ugwuanyi has now removed all stumbling blocks the Enugu state gov't can remove for effective operations (both local and int'l) at AIIA Enugu, but the federal gov't that was doing eye-service last year and pretending to care when complaints were made about the airport, have now abandoned it....fuc/k-all is happening there now by way of improvements! Rochas used state money to do the little you saw in Owerri! The federal gov't that owns that airport has done fuc/k-all! And we're now being told it's good as Rochas is in APC as it would bring development to the state/region from the Buhari/APC gov't! Can anyone tell me how Imo has benefited over and above what the other 4 S-E states have benefited by having a Governor in APC? So don't blame South-East Governors when their hands are tied and they're left to play with the cards they've been dealt! They're operating under a political-economy that doesn't favour Ndigbo! |
simplycarro:Funny thing is, you don't see the irony in your posts! You go around accusing people of being 'cowards' (maybe you don't know the meaning of the word) yet you're doing the exact same thing you say they're doing! Any bastard i insult had it coming! Don't whine when you get served the exact same dish you've served others! You yapping at my heels like an annoying neutered poddle, can you look Mazi Kanu and IPOB in the face and insult them the way you're now doing anonymously? Go screw your filthy hypocritical ass! |
