I said it in 2015 didn't i....i said it when GEJ was still president, that if perchance Buhari/APC manage to snatch the keys to Aso Rock, that we should kiss goodbye to any meaningful development for AIIA Enugu. But even i couldn't predict what's going on with that airport now; the little gains we made during the GEJ regime have been stagnated and even eroded by this wicked, anti-Igbo Buhari/APC gov't!

The whole intention of that fixing of runway at Abuja airport and transfering passengers to Kaduna airport was to sneakily upgrade the infrastructure at Kaduna airport and make it take on int'l flights as they were eyeing the int'l operations at AIIA Enugu with hatred and envy! They were like: how dare PDP, GEJ and Princess Stella upgrade AIIA Enugu to int'l operations....didn't they read the script written after the civil war that Igbos and Alaigbo should be marginalised, deprived of any federally assisted investments and rendered useless? I mean, how bloody dare they!

They were furious that there were three int'l airports in the south and two in the north, and they just had to do something about it! Any wonder works on the new int'l terminal at AIIA Enugu stopped as soon as the bigot-in-chief Buhari and his relative Hadi-Sirika assumed office! The useless eye-service visit Hadi-Sirika made to Enugu (when south-east members of the national assembly compalined about the poor state of infrastructure at AIIA) what has come of it?

When mapping out these new areas, they should also consider having open spaces for parks and recreation areas where families can stroll down to and relax under the trees or play with the kids on swings and slides!

I don't like seeing us waste scarce resources on what the federal gov't claims is their own sphere of influence and responsibility! If we had state police then i can understand, but why should we spend the money we don't have buying equipment and building offices for a institution the constitution says belongs on the exclusive list? You'd read this news and think that a proper job has been done....kinda like how they pulled out all the stops to sneakily upgrade kaduna airport, and how they reconstructed the runway at Abuja airport, with billions spend in both instances!

What they're actually talking about is a couple of ugly warehouses that i could easily do for 15 million naira each (if it will even reach that amount)! These guys just want to make it look like Buhari/APC are doing something in the south-east, and that the south-east benefited from Rochas being in the APC, which is a bold-faced lie!

When you talk of the launching of a airport upgrade for which a president would attend, you'd expect to see a new and expanded runway; a new terminal; and new operational/navigational equipment that would help expand the airports operations!

As long as Buhari and Hadi-Sirika are in charge, you can just forget any meaningful upgrade to operations and infrastructure in any airport in the south-east, and if they do manage to do anything (which they will blow their horn about on the roof tops), you can be rest assured they'd make sure it's of inferior quality and scope to what they would do for their own airports in the north or in Lagos!

The question i’m asking is: what is APC doing with all the extra money they recovered from ‘PDPs 16 years of looting’....coupled with all the extra money that would have come into the coffers of the federal gov’t these past four years since we’ve gotten rid of the ‘thieving PDP’ and now have saints in office?

Shouldn’t Nigeria be seeing positive gains on all fronts since all this extra cash is coming in?
