These are the type of people messing up other Nigerians' chances of getting visas to travel abroad... UK govt should please send the goat back home and ban him from entering the UK... He should come to Nigeria and punch a SARS officer or better still, a Nigerian Soldier... BLOODY GOAT!

Just imagine a mean visa approval officer in Lagos going through your visa application while jejely surfing YouTube for interesting stuff, and then he comes across this clip showing a spoilt Nigerian brat levelling a British police officer to the ground! Your guess is as good as mine as to the eventual fate of said application! lipsrsealed

Commendable effort going on in the state. I know it's still a construction site, but why the hell can't they start planting trees where work is rounding up and about to be finished? The major streets of the state need to be lined with trees for heavens sakes! You find this absence of trees in ALL of our cities in the south-east and i don't know why this is the case!

Air Peace make sure you are competing with Etihad Airways, British Airways cool

You’re right! But you know their gov’ts give them a lot of support and protection! What worries me in the case of Air Peace is the toxic Nigerian business environment...coupled with a gov’t that isn’t giving it the necessary support and protection the gov’ts of British Airways and Etihad give them!

The one that cracks me up is when they talk of ‘farmers/herdsmen clashes’! That’s them being economical with the truth! wink

How is it farmers/herdsmen clash when the farmers are there minding their own business and the Fulani herdsmen go looking for their trouble? And when fight starts, the Fulani herdsmen not only target the farmers (who they first looked for their trouble) but their entire village as well!

Go figure!

The fulani herdsmen in the state haven't been declared as terrorist but they are quick to label unarmed people who are fighting for what they want without causing trouble as terrorist, seriously this country is a big joke.

Bros Jay, you have to understand that put on a scale, side-by-side, the ‘establishment’ see IPOB and Mazi Kanu as a million times more dangerous (even though IPOB haven’t killed anyone) and more deserving of their attention and resources!

Fulani herdsmen and the bokos just kill a few tens of thousands every year, whereas IPOB and Mazi Kanu are quite capable of ending their gravy-train and ATM that is ‘one Nigeria’! wink

mktinsight:

Gas needs processing. You cannot use it straight out of the ground. The source of processed gas is Imo from Shell's network.

Too bad Nestoil (Obi Jackson) is going for a selfish big project idea (Century Power) instead of a gas pipeline which will cost 1/10th of the $1.5 billion the power plant will need. You need a consortium of Nestoil, Seplat, IFC, ANSG to fund a pipeline through Nnewi to Onitsha and then let manufacturers and businesses do the rest. It will mean an explosion of industry in the Onitsha/Nnewi axis with spill-over effects for the rest of the state.

You see! This is where a visionary and bold governor would have come in handy...to mobilise all these companies and gov’t agencies to see to the realisation of our energy goals! I remember there was talk when Obiano started his first term of a company (i think it was Seven Energy, owned by one Iheanacho) that will supply gas to Anambra industrial estates and also for domestic use! Nothing came of it in the end!

See this Nyamiri with no past and a bleak future.

I know the greatest regret of your life is that your mother didn't allow a Yoruba man father you. You walk around displaying inferiority complex and wishing you were an Omoluabi.

No surprises you're here...spending an inordinate amount of your sad existence arguing with a people you despise passionately!

From the amount of bile you have for Igbos, i'll go out on a limb and say your 'nyamiri' moniker is just one of many you use for your 'job' on this forum.....i've come across your brand of hate from a number of other monikers! This now begs the question: dude, do you have a life outside bigotry and rabid hate? You do realise all this negative energy you're wasting on here is yielding zero results?

You're here getting a boner over a desperate fulani ass-licker like Okorocha erecting an unwanted statue just to curry favour from his masters in the hope that they will support his bid for senate or possibly higher office! Don't worry mate! If i know my people well (a people Buhari hasn't hidden his disdain for), they will pull down that horror that's defacing Owerri with its presence.....it's just a question of time! wink

That report on pooling of resources to beautify Addis-Ababa is similar to what i’ve been advocating to garner funds for development in our states in particular or the region as whole.

Ours though wouldn’t be a one-off event like the Ethiopian one, but a decade long affair in which all working and capable adults from the state (or entire region as the case may be) would be mandated to pledge to contribute a small amount to a development fund for the next ten years. Diaspora would also be asked to set aside 5% of their remittances back home for this as well.

By this method, a state like Anambra could comfortably raise $10 to $15 billion in a decade!

It would take someone like a Soludo or Chidoka to organise such a monumental effort!

That’s true! You could be conscienceless, thuggish, a bigot, semi-illiterate and have blood on your hands, yet still make it in Nigerian partisan-politics!

This is why you hardly find decent, intelligent and civilised people going into politics in Nigeria...and when they do they don’t last!

We’ve been spending most our lives living in a gangsters paradise (apologies to Coolio)!
