Plato said "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." This is particularly true if you meet someone using a BlackBerry, perhaps the hardest of all battles. But they don't deserve pity. Around BlackBerry users, we must remember manners, courtesy, and a few basic rules of kindness.
Don't be a snob. Gadget snobbery is never OK. It's ignorant and obnoxious to tell someone they're a bad person because of a phone (unless that phone is a Galaxy Note). Within the rest of the handset nebula, you should let your fellow man stand by his choice. But BlackBerry owners are different. They were once a haughty, QWERTY-clutching elite—bankers, lawyers, Illuminati chairmen, Yale professors, and various other broad-jawed goons from the corridors of power. No more. The RIM faithful are the people who got left out of the doomsday vault—the Japanese soldiers still wandering around the jungle waiting to snipe GIs. They're at a point beneath teasing. We need to start giving them sympathy. We have to coexist. It's probably not their fault. Your typical BlackBerry user doesn't use it because they want to—they use it because they have to. Maybe their Paleolithic employer probably requires it—it's still a requisite for modern business in someone's faded brain. Or maybe they can't afford a new phone. Or maybe they really, really love a good keyboard, which can't be found elsewhere. Maybe they're chained to a family plan. The point is: They have no other options. So you can't fault someone for using a BlackBerry, because nobody really wants to be using a BlackBerry. Have you ever made fun of someone for using a wheelchair? Probably not. If you have, you're awful. Don't ask. "Dude, you're still using a BlackBerry?" Yeah, they are, dickhead. You know they are. Highlighting the misfortune of others isn't going to get anyone to make out with you. And a BlackBerry user isn't going to change their ways because of your ridicule. They know they have a BlackBerry. Whatever the reason is, it's their business. When they make a call, just look away, and try to smile. Don't stare. Unless it's on a hip-holster, in which case, walk away. Compliment BBM. RIM still has one thing going for it: BBM is the best phone messaging system of all time. It makes iMessage look like a poopy diaper. Giving your friend's 'Berry the respect it deserves for instant, reliable phone IMing is a good way to establish common ground. Sample conversation: You: "Oh, man, I wish my phone had BBM. It's still the best." Them: "Thanks. But I want to die." Loan your phone. When you see someone pushing a busted bicycle along the side of a dark, muddy road, you don't just leave them there. You give them a ride. Open your door—this is a metaphor— and let a BB user borrow your phone for a second. Sample conversation: Them: "Hey, do you mind if I check the Orioles score? I'm following them in the World Series." You: "Um, sure!" Share what luxury you have. Let them use your phone's snappy browser. For a moment, you both feel content. Until they learn the truth about the Flock. Be sympathetic. Be understanding. Be generous. Be nice. Because someday, you might be on the bottom rung of the social ladder, still clinging to your hopelessly outdated old iPhone. Having been a victim of motherboard failure, I decided to share tips on how to prevent my readers from going through the same ordeal I went through. Below are things I should have done to prevent my motherboard from failing. 1. Keep system ventilated to prevent high temperature and ensure the system cooling fan is working each time you turn on your computer system. 2. Blow dust away from your system atleast once every week. 3. Try not to over-task your system processor and motherboard ie using applications requiring higher configurations than what can be obtained on your computer system. 4. Check power rating for power pack before using it with your system, as incorrect rating could lead to the circuit board being fried. 5. Ensure the system is kept away from powerful magnetic field. 6. Keep water and other liquids away from your system. |
A close look at Blackberry Aristo and iPhone 5 spec, one would conclude that RIM is trying to imitate iPhone 5 while also wanting to improve on some of its features. Firstly, the adoption of a non-removable battery which is the standard in Apple smart devices seems unnecessary and disappointing to say the least as most Blackberry devices hangs and/or lock-up quite often and removing the battery is a quick wayout which is a norm among its users. Also packing this smartphone with features upon features isn't so much of a good move. DLNA Support, microHDMI out, Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Altimeter, Wi-Fi direct, NFC, hot swappable microSD slot, 4 microphones, face detection, etc...powered by a 2800mAh battery. I mean what are they trying to makeup for or distract users from? Aristo's hardware maybe mindblowing but it's dead on arrival(DOA) if the OS aint ... |
You both aint even in a relationship and you're already thinking about marriage. Save that "he's willing to wait till after marriage" crap he's been whispering in your ears, he's getting it from a different source and you're just there pining over what you never had. He is not attracted to you, neither is he proud of you, that's why he can't be bothered to spend a dime on you. |

In order to keep your account secure, here's a list of to-do: 1. Strong Password: You should have a unique and complex password for your fb account and keep this entirely to yourself. This password should be different from the ones you use elsewhere. 2. Log out: Ensure you log out when you’re done, especially when using a public computer or someone else’s mobile device. You should also never check the "Remember Me" box when logging in from a public computer, as this will keep you logged in even after you close your browser window. 3. Secure Email: It's necessary that the email you use for your Facebook account is a secure email since anyone who can read your email can probably access your Facebook account. 4. Log in at Facebook.com: There are phishing sites made to look like the real facebook site in order to get your login credentials. Make sure sure the address on the address bar is 'www.facebook.com'. 5. Avoid Friending everyone A compromised account can be used to gain certain information about you which hackers could use to hack your account. 6. Use an Anti-Virus Make sure there's an antivirus running on your system and frequently scan for rootkits and backdoor trojans which can send your Login information to hackers. 7. Beware of keyloggers: Keyloggers are usually hidden to the user, hence difficult to detect as they are not show in the taskmanager or in the list of installed programs. However, there are program that can help you scan and remove keyloggers eg BullGuard and Anti-keylogger. You could alternately use the onscreen keyboard to enter your username and password. |

The cost of producing a single unit of iPhone 5 is said to be around $167 but the phone sells for about $199 to $399 depending on the memory size. This means that Apple would be making over $30 for each and every single unit of iPhone 5 they sell. Normally, this might have or should have been overlooked but the iPhone 5 lacks a single feature capable of making the news, it lacks NFC(Near Field Communication) which is now a standard in the smartphone market, even Nokia featured it in Lumia 920 using it for Wireless Charging. Here is a list of the cost of some of its components; · The 4-inch 1136x640 pixel display costs $18 · The touch screen $7.50 · One battery unit is $3 · The A6 processor $28 · The camera stands at $10 · The built-in WiFi/Bluetooth/GPS is $4 Putting everything into consideration, Is the iPhone 5 a cheap plastic? |

@kinesis 1. Lumia 920 uses a 1.5 dual core while S3 possesses a 1.4 quad core processor(almost double speed in case your brain can't do the math) 2. S3 sports a more modern bluetooth v4.0 as against Lumia's v3.1 3. S3 plays adobe flash while Lumia doesn't 4. S3 camera has more functions(don't even let me get into this one) 5. S3 has a higher screen resolution(768/1280: compared to :720/1280) 6. Faster download/upload of S3 compared to Lumia (100mbps/50mbps::21mbps/3mbps) 7. Last but not the less, the S3's superior Android OS that you can update to the latest OS against the untried n untested Windows 8 OS. Who has ever heard of a Windows Operating System not characterized by a bug or two? |
Galaxy Note II An amazing device, the galaxy note II introduces Air View, this means that you can actually view stuffs with the S pen like your messages without actually touching the device. This device is packed with so much functions that it could literally almost knock Galaxy S III off the shelf. The downside of this device is the battery life, doesn't last as much as you'd expect. The size of this device can be a plus or a minus depending on your view of a device such as this. The screen is perfect for broswing and watching video on the go but its portability is questionable. Verdict: This is a must-have gadget Specification Os: Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Camera: 8MP, 1.9MP Front Display: 5.5inch HD Super AMOLED Network: 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+21Mbps Processor: 1.6GHz Quad-Core RAM: 2GB Memory: 16/32/64GB microSD expandable up to 64GB Others: Air View, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, S Beam, Screen Recorder, VPN, VMware MVP |
omodapson: Apple has lost it. The 'only' improvement is only in screen size. Iphone5 is just a re-packaged iPhone4s. Sorry Apple fans.I don't think the screen size can be considered as an improvement. |
Nokia lumia 920 would kill the iphone5 hands down....that phone is da bomb, it killed the galaxy s3 in almost all aspect not to talk of this over-hyped rubbish metal
I'm sorry but Lumia 920 did not kill Galaxy S3 in anyway, get your fact right next time before posting a lie like this. S3 is rated way higher than Lumia 920. |
With iPhone 5 currently monopolizing all the attention in the smartphone market. Do you think the device is worth the buzz? Cause personally I think it just has the same old iPhone look and it's no game changer. Also are you excited about the coming release of iPhone 5?

timilehing: Pls gurus, i just winnin eleven on my laptop and its very slow despite my 3GB RAM. I've already install pes earlier wit d same problem. Pls any solution to this? ThanksWhat's your system's config or specification? If your laptop has a single core processor then do some other useful stuffs with your system or if you can afford it, get a gaming system. BTW uninstall programs you don't need, perform disk cleanup, defragment your harddisk and close all other running program from the taskmanager before starting the game, let's see if there would be any improvement. |
OP Seems like you've already made up your mind to marry next year. I don't see why a struggling guy would rent a 3 bedroom apartment for himself alone, this shows that he isn't thinking of just himself or being selfish. Do this guy a favor and create space for someone who wouldn't hesitate to leave him cause of his present situation. |
VPN(Virtual Private Network) is not just used to connect a worker to his/her office's network, there are a whole lots of other ways VPN would be useful to you, even if you are just an average internet user. 1.
