RomanceRe: I Am Getting Married Yet I Am In So Much Pain/ by xerxes456(m): 9:00am On Nov 08, 2019
pappy2000:
I need to start this write up that i met this lady early this year and i had another lady who from my analysis is not so much in love with me so when i finally met this lady, she was everything i desire in a woman, so we started dating and from dating i went to see her sister in Abuja then from Abuja i went to kogi to meet her parent.

I met her family late June 2019. So I work in a blue chip company with a salary of little more than 100k so but i realized the salary won't make me live my dream life so i took a loan from gtbank to buy a car and use for e hailing.

My fiancee was so much supportive that she on her own decided to add like 200k fund so i bought a toyota matix.

So when I gave out the car the people i gave it to were all misbehaving so i decided that i will drive the car, she was so cool and nice that she will do everything at my beck n call.

Now when i went to meet her sister in Abuja her sister insists that we should pick a date meanwhile in may when we were marking her birthday, she told me how sad she was due to the fact that she was marking her birthday and she is getting younger so i promise her then that we will marry this year. I told her in Novermber so we finally settle for a date and the sister spent her money.

Unfortunately for me things were not as i planned in the uber biz, i need a few repair here and then. Now we got days left to wedding and she has been very irrational. She is pregnant for me, each time she visits me, i will beg her, na the cry and cry. How I truly want a happy home.
You are married already technically speaking, Just Stop here, don't go any further with anything, sit her down and talk, if you cannot talk to your wife and sort it out, (even though women can talk and agree with you only to switch later, but at least you've said your mind), then the marriage won't work... you need a God-fearing Marriage counsellor and you both need to be ready to work things out....

Also since she is already pregnant, she will be very hormonal, try and understand that most of what she is doing to you now is due to her pregnancy, don't let it get to you too much...

don't go further with anything, Marriage and all, in fact, let her deliver then you guys can talk "what next", you need to sort things out and considering her kind of woman, if things are not perfect, she will continue to nag you, not all women understand the principle of sowing and waiting before reaping, if she's not supportive, pause don't kill yourself and stop borrowing from her family, Bros... that's very bad, you're roping yourself. work hard, one day you'll make it.... life is not easy, no matter what social media makes it look like, it's not easy for everyone, we all have our crosses, just carry your own with pride and make it work for you.

May God help you.

One day it will be your turn. Then you will know how you have contributed to a wretched society.
Well!! if as an employer you get criticized its your responsibility to make necessary adjustments, Bussiness is not a "Do Anyhow", Customers and employees have rights, if you can't meet up with their demands from both ends then don't start, until you've factored it in.

Everybody wants to do business, but don't want to painstakingly meet up with the demands that follows... it's hard but its a requirement...

Criticism is one of them, learn to accept them and if needed make adjustments.

This whole gist is like a guy saying "Why Must I Suffer to make money", Siddon dey looks money go fall from heaven...

Women and Men who want Love must work for it, you can give what you dont have, but you can give something in exchange for what you dont have, what are you willing to give to get love...

According to Ravi Zacharias "Love creates a possibility for Pain, Pain creates a Possibility for a Saviour, a Saviour creates the Possibility for Redemption"

Love and Pain always go hand in hand, when there is Love, there's vulnerability and this may create pain, but its all good cos this is life.

To those who choose to Love, Please go ahead and Love, don't let anybody shame you, those who have issues with Love most often are the ones that destroyed their chances at love, they took it for granted when it came their way and followed other shiny stuff, now the shine is gone, the true meaning is out in the open, and Love is not there, they feel wasted, used, dejected and then go all out to poison the minds of those who are truly in love.

If you're in Love and you have the level of tolerance to handle it, handle it, Only try and not lose your life when it gets to it, but when you get there you will know, until then Love demands work from both sides, if one party is not ready to work, its like a Horse pulling a broken cart, the other party will eventually get worked up.

Ladies, love if you can, and if you're getting it in return Congrats, if not persevere till you feel you've tried enough, get a counselor and leave when its time, if it works out congrats... Do your thing don't let the media deceive you.

same to guys, Love like mad, and when all else fails you can walk out, don't be abusive and don't take ladies for granted, try and get some emotional intelligence it will help...

Ladies and Gentlemen, Nothing Good comes easy even when it's free, No two people can work together unless theres an agreement somewhere, you must be ready to give for you to receive, there must always be a ballance...

Are you an entertainer or have you ever been on weed?? What is your business with Whitney Houston??

Some guys are level headed, gentle or calm/cool or whatever word you ladies use to describe them.. But end up marrying a lady with flaws of verbal abuse/temperament nonsense .. They can wake up the dead with verbal abuse... Some men can't cope with such.. They will say it point black, "I will rather get a divorce than become a beast because of your incessant verbal abuse".., While some will handle it with more maturity until the lady minimize her excesses...
You are a lady but I put it straight to you that there are some ladies you can not cope with as a room mate or flatmates...
But such ladies will marry someone and the husband will cope until she get corrected..

While some will see coping with such a lady as "suffer head"

The difference here is ability to tolerate and preserve.. That comes with a lot of maturity...

If you don't have it just accept your limitations

But never discourage those that have it!!!
Ladies are bussy shouting their head off all over the place...

There are men who go through worse sh**t than this but you won't hear about it, their wives are drug addicts, Nymphomaniacs, bitches with high demands and expensive lifestyles, wouldn't want to contribute anything but expect the guy to still be there for them, yet you won't hear it on social media, cos guys have their self-respect and personality to protect, also if they say it, the society will put pressure on them to break up with such a lady, its his choice and it doesnt mean he's a fool, people should stop forcing what they think on others...

Finally, some workout but some don't, most that work out turn out to be a success but remains a family secret...

Toke Makinwa is very free to make her life decision, but saying people ( who went through hurt and finally get to a point where they can celebrate their breakthrough) should just shut up, is a sigh of that she is a sadist... and to me, SADISTS can go to hell, let people live and do their thing provided they do not come into your business... Pleeeasseee...

so it all boils down to tolerance levels, as you said "The difference here is the ability to tolerate and preserve... That comes with a lot of maturities...

If you don't have it just accept your limitations"
that's just it.

Mathew 23:23 talked about paying tithe as part of the Law which the Scribes and Pharisees took more seriously than other aspects of the Law. so you're saying because of this we should pay tithe ( as part of the law).

From your assertions, I can conclude that we should follow all the laws in the old testament then. this means we should go back to the book of Deuteronomy, Leviticus etc and follow all that is written there, isn't it?

Afteral if you look at that passage very well, "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.".

it shows there are lighter and weightier matters of the Law, and if we follow the weightier ones, we shouldn't leave the lighter ones out and vice versa.

so, please go and buy Rams and Goats take it to your priests (Pastors (who are even supposed to wear aprons and robes)) and do your sacrifices, ensure you travel to Jerusalem for the Passover so it can be accepted, also your tithes is suppose to be of mint and anise and cummin not money.

Christianity EtcRe: Can I Start Sharing My Tithe To Bless Old Women In The Church Instead? by xerxes456(m): 12:53pm On Oct 11, 2019
Thank God for providing for you and for the thought to want to help the needy, The "House Of God" needs your money to progress and grow, give to the work of God, Give to the needy and help those you can, how much and how you give is according to what you want to give.

If you are a Jew, you can pay tithe like the Jews do if they still do, to Israel.

But if you are a Gentile like me, please give according to 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 King James Version (KJV)"6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver." you are not obliged to pay any tithe unless you choose to. (if you are doing it, it should not be out of compulsion).

Otherwise, you can share what you have, give some to the church and others to the needy its very okay.
Christianity EtcRe: What Do Opposers of Tithe & Prosperity Make Of Math 23:23 & Zech 1:17 ? by xerxes456(m): 12:28pm On Oct 11, 2019
Mr. CodeTemplar, I went through this thread and all the comments made so far, the statements by most of the members that have posted here, would have been enough to convince you about the tithing issue and Christianity, but your replies have given you away as someone who just want to post for the purpose of arguments, without coming to an agreement. what I mean is you know what you want and you have chosen to believe what you want to believe.

Just for your info. when Jesus was a kid he followed his parents to the tabernacle for the Passover feast( Luke 2:41-52), does this mean as Christians we are to go over to Jerusalem every year for the Passover? Moreover, Jesus adjusted the Passover ceremony before his death to the Communion we now practice, it was held in Jerusalem too, So I ask are we to visit Jerusalem every time we want to do the Holy communion? do read and understand, don't take everything your pastor preach hook line and sinker, read and understand.

We are Christians, we follow Christ, so I ask, did Jesus Christ ask his disciples to pay tithe to him, or is there any record of the disciples paying tithe to Christ? after His resurrection and ascension, is there any record of the Apostles paying tithe or asking the Christians to pay tithe, is there any record of any of his disciples asking or stating that Christians should pay tithe?

Tithe is not for Christians, Christians are to give "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver." - 2 Corinthians 9:7. Shikenna. there are even so many scriptures covering this.

Christians are not Jews, the old testament is there to show you how God moved in times past, as Paul would say in Colossians 2 "Ït was a shadow of things to come." Christ has come and has fulfilled all those Laws. we live in Christ and we do not live by those Laws.

If you want to tithe like Abraham, it's your business, but make sure you make it clear that it's not your all you are giving, so you dont get punished like Ananias and Saphira.

Peace be unto you as you go and read the bible prayerfully to find answers for yourself.

Oga Nigerian's aren't COWARDS. The last "heroes" we had are called BIAFRA and you know what happened to them right? Massive rape, famine, hunger, malnutrition, slaughter of whole villages, maiming and at the end what happened? NOTHING!

Oh, lest I forget, to pour salt on their injury, the government collected all the money they had in the bank and gave each bank account owner 20 pounds irrespective of how much they had in their account before the war. This is why till early 2000s, Igbo people didn't use bank accounts but rather hid their money under the rug, bed, in the ground - till armed robbers started doing withdrawals.
so why did the BIAFRA fail? Was it that Nigeria has superior fighting power or there was a divide in the house due to the fact that the BIAFRANS were also trying to be smart ( stupid) with their allies... read well...

Op you can't be tired of listening to "bad government" we are Nigerian and we both know the situation of this country. If Nigerians are truly smart we won't have an issue with bad government, if we were truly smart we can easily choose the right leaders but the honest truth is our smartness is diverted into stupid things and behaviors .... I do ask my self If the government are truly responsible for the misdeeds and the bad situation in Nigeria but the truth is they are not responsible....we are responsible for voting them in and since they used us as stepping stone they experience wealth, Security, happiness while we are the ones suffering. If we were smart we would have elected the right leader and would have done the right thing.
Can you call those wasting their time voting for BBN smart? Or the organizers and the government?.

Sowore was smart enough to hold a revolutionary protest, but his followers were also smart to leave him behind when DSS arrested him, so who his smart?

Op Nigerians are not smart we are all hypocrites and we will never move forward if we continue with these.
not just hypocrites, COWARDS!!!, not that I support Sowore (due to his demands which are also seemingly borderline on sentiments and not tangible enough to revolt, my personal opinion though) we love life so much that it's better to live as a slave than die trying to fight for our freedom, it's so bad that even when someone dies or is punished for trying to fight for our freedom, we join the slave masters to despise him, worse if he dies, we spit on his grave and drag his children through the mud, we are the architects of our miseries and the masters of our captivity... we are all dullards so we vote in fellow dullards...

Simple answer Greed.

I REPEAT GREED, GREED IS WHAT IS CAUSING ALL NIGERIAS PROBLEM.

If there's no greed there's no way in less than 20years of Nigeria's democracy, southwest that has produced President for 8years and VP for 5years while there are regions that hasn't produced any. Would be yearning for Presidency.

If not for Greed why will the the President know that a lot of federal roads in other regions are bad and highly un motorable, yet he is Budgeting billions to expand and rehabilitate roads in regions with good roads.

The list goes on
This reasoning is also one laced with certain greed, it's one of the many thinking that has kept Nigeria from moving forward; tribalism, religiosity, nepotism, favouritism, godfatherism and all the other isms, until Nigerians get to the level where leaders are voted in not because of all the above factors but based on his pedegree, worth, leadership values, leadership skills, abilities and all the other values that makes a worthy man to lead us to the desired land of prosperity and development, not based on sentiments but selfless leadership that can decipher between need and want. Until we miraculously ( I use this word cos its very unlikely we can achieve this) get there, things will continue to spiral downwards... we are all greedy yes but greed directed in the right direction can bring tremendous breakthrough.

HOW MANY AMERICANS ARE IN NIGERIA? YET WE HAVE MILLIONS OF NIGERIANS THERE. IF YOU REFUSE TO LEAVE A COUNTRY HOSTILE AT YOU, THEN THERE IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING BETTER IN THAT COUNTRY THAT IS NOT IN YOURS
Nigerians are forward-moving and forward-thinking people, if our Govt. won't help us, we help ourself, we hustle, push forward if it means going abroad we are ready to do just that, a true Nigerian is an international, he can fit into any country and hustle it out, go anywhere around the world Nigerians go there, set up colonies and do profitable business.

But a South African Black man is a Local Man, he either takes handouts from the whites (south African white and the rest) or depends entirely on their Government, and when both sides fail because he lacks a creative mind, he turns on his fellow black internationals as the source of his problem. If Nigeria were to be developed (Which, no matter how you look at it, Its the fault of those in Govt. from inception to date) the world would love to come to Nigeria, we have so much we can showcase, but again Our leaders have failed over and over (it may also be deliberate though).

so the LOCAL NIGERIAN MAN gats Survive, the man can turn International no problem...

Nigerians are the most tolerant set of people, we can stretch to any length and not break easily...

It's not going to be easy for Nigerians there to just leave, Most of them have their entire lives there, nothing back here for them. coming back to Nigeria is not going to be a walk in the park for most of them...

I just pray God to continue to protect us home and abroad, cos the one wey dey disturb us here for Nigeria we never fit solve am...

Tell them again... Most people make comments based on the knowledge available to them, they don't go further to at the least do a little research on what obtains as regards to a discuss that's beyond their knowledge...
Just like you, I have been in the 4walls of both a Polytechnic up to HND level and a University up to BSc level, the university curriculum is a watered down version of whats obtained in the HND curriculum... the dichotomy ish I believe was born out of lack of understanding of the difference between a technologist and a Scientist... they are worlds apart but are meant to complement each other not rivals or one is higher than the other, funny enough a technologist (HND holder) can function effectively in both specializations, while an ordinary (BSc Holder) can only function as a scientist... it's proven even in my place of work, it pops up day in day out.

A university degree is not a paper! taken nothing away from the polytechnic graduates, with all their skills they still need someone who understands the theories that drive the practice and that is why, university graduates should always have an edge. Without theories there's no productivity.
Have you taken a careful examination of polytechnic graduate writing skills?
have also taken note of university graduate writing skills too... the system presently in this country doesn't require a divide, because everybody can work anywhere whether in his field or not, not to talk of as a technologist or a scientist... funny enough they're areas of specialization and doesn't mean one is higher than the other in position.
