It is not, my bro/sis. Firstly, look at the concept of bible itself. It is referred ton as the Holy Bible, the Holy Guide of a Christian. Its the Constitution of all Christians if you agree with me. Now, it is even more important than a constitution but also a spiritual book to a believer of Christian faith. Historically, bible must have been generated from series of divine revelation and inspirations, gathered in a material for the purpose of record and guide for the envisaged generation. In the time of Moses, we had stone as piece of record (where 10 commandments were first inscribed - Exodus 31:18). Technology came in and scroll was discovered, a part of the bible was inscribed in the scroll. All these were gathered, in conjunction with other media to get the present day bible we have today in paper form. If you then agree that ;a bible' is a holy book, why then would you allow other features that have tendency of distraction to be incorporated in the so called e-bibles we have now? Fine, technology is an advancement but to everything is adequacy and more importantly things of God strictly require reverence and moderation, consciousness. The truth is that whatever thing you referred to as bible can never share any feature that will detach your mind from it most especially when you in the place of worship (i.e. when u need it most) or during the time of worship. Now, let me be specific about what I mean about features: Taking an Ipad for example: except if you dedicate device for bible strictly, alot of features can pop up which may cause distractions to you or even the sister sitting next to you. Gadgets like phones, ipod or tablets are even worse when u r connected to network or online. Calls can come in, a friend might ping you for chat, game might even incidentally come up while struggling to search for a bible verse and b4 u know it, you will start struggling with putting off such features while sermon is going on. In a nutshell, those devices cause distractions in most cases and moreover, bible symbolises a christian and its more of an identity which can not be replaced with ANYTHING. It is spiritual, it is sacred while religion itself is a Faith Based setting and not Philosophy.

The Bible doesn't say much about what heaven is supposed to be like. Most of the claims about heaven are exaggerations of the Bible. The Bible says the Gates are made of pearl. What are the gates for? Are they made just as an excuse to irritate clams? Are the gates supposed to keep someone out or to keep souls from escaping?

The sales pitch for heaven is that there is only happiness and no sorrow. But it also says that many people's loved ones won't be there. Since they can't feel sorrow about that, are they ecstatic that their loved ones are being tortured forever? Either your memories are removed or your human empathy is removed. Is it really you that is left over once some parts of you have been removed?

If life matters to me now, it will always have mattered to me, even when I am gone. Death cannot change that.

Your best hope is to be locked in a gold cage with your memories of having an actual life being erased just so you can kiss ass for eternity.

Life is pleasant, death is serene. The transition might be troublesome but we all have to go through it. You shouldn't fear death so much. Heaven and hell are imaginary. You should reject the indoctrination. Life is much better that way.

Good article OP. Homosexuality is a sin before God even though he still loves homosexuals. We Christians should also show love to homosexuals but should not accept homosexuality in any way. Ever since I was born, I have not seen many people arrive late to the airport when they are traveling. In fact, when the plane is taking off at 11:00pm, the person will be at the airport by 7:00pm, wow!

Church starts at 08:00 am ,but people will come at 08:30am or 10: 00 am, why? They think all they need is just to be present and show their faces to their friends.



Just take the test to call them on Monday at 5:30 or 6:00 am , you'll realise they are already on their way to work and some will be there already.




Know this today, anytime you go to Church one minute late, you have NOT attended Church at all.





If Christ is saying 'where
two or three are gathered, I'm in their midst', you think He comes late? The time you give is the time He keeps.






What does it mean to arrive late to Church?

1) Disrespect to Christ

2) Betrayal of Christ

3) Disregard to the Church and the Pastor

4) Interruption of an eternal program

stop peddling false doctrine... can you substantiate these claims with scriptural backing... you're adding to the word of God... stop adding. the church is in the heart, that physical gathering is a place we go to edify one another and encourage each other, we also come together to experience God's presence in a special way and to go out and preach the word, it's a place of fellowship and a place of solace, but there's no where in the scriptures where it's stated as wrong or right to be late or not, it's a personal thing, if a person choose to be late for whatever reason it's between him and God, lateness to church can only be wrong on personal basis... as in if you have a date and time arrangement with someone or the church or the pastor at the church venue and you decide to go late, it's between you and that person... we like law too much... na Wa o... remember the letter killed but the spirit gives life, let's stop putting up so much letters to the point life is snuffed out of Christianity, let the spirit of God take control bro... stop being a control freak, let God do his work on us...

This Story is not far fetched, if all of us in this forum were to be in a room, and the OP had come up with this story, there would have been such a huge clash by now, the Biafra supporters versus Nigeria supporters and judging from the aggressiveness in the comments by the Biafra supporters, Nigeria supporters would have been lynched at the stake... as it is in this forum so it is in real life...
