zoedew:Dullards everywhere. The killer is known, the party is known as a typical zombie, you had to dig up OBJ. to deflect attention from your master. SMH |
Slimm01:Nobody swears an affidavit to decamp. In fact, an affidavit is completely useless in party defection. It is like an candidate who neither write WAEC nor UTME swearing an affidavit to have been admitted to a particular university and posting it online. Such affidavit is nothing but a joke and such candidate is not considered a student by any rational mind. There are specific steps to defect from a party, it starts with officially resigning from the current party which the defectors did not do. Isn't it interesting that the 27 lawmakers allegedly swore an affidavit for a process that requires no affidavit? Who exactly require such affidavit? What is curious is that Fubara's team while harping on affidavit in the media refuse to present the alleged affidavit in court. Till date, nobody has seen the said affidavit. |
Fake news. He only posted SDP logo. That is how Fubara was trapped with videos of alleged decamping, instead of investigating first and waiting for a proper defection, he jumped the gun and revealed his hands. |
Empresa:Fubara is not Rivers people. Anybody whose loyalty can be bought can never be loyal to the people. Worse still, Fubara is currently broke as allocations are frozen until he represent the budget. |
Validated:The governor can't do nothing. He has been completely defeaterd. He already publicly branded them as evil and nonenties, so no more moves for him. As to breaking their rank, he has nothing to offer any of them at this point. If he fails to represent the budget, he will be impeached. |
What an irrational thought. Kekere Ekun does not write judgment for the courts, neither is her son's case ever coming across her table. |
Trump has almost destroyed all the leads of the Canadian Conservative party. The liberals that should have been destroyed in the polls are now making serious comeback. |
phantomxx:Nobody cares! A brave Fubara should not give the clowns any attention. This was a calculated ploy to tell or show the world these lawmakers are not interested in peace but his impeachment. The fellow knows what he's doing.Since the people are fully behind him including militants, he doesn't need to play stupid sympathy games any longer. He either accept he has lost all leverage or continue to fight as a brave man he is alleged to be. The supreme court may have taken the side of wike but Fubara has the court of public opinion. .. and he is swaying it even more beautifully to his side.Public opinion is useless unless the election is holding tomorrow. Even at that, a ruthless and calculative player can suppress it. Case in point is Uzodinma who won a landslide despite being hated by everybody. It's a game of chess! If I was to advise the lawmakers, let them attend the meeting but at a neutral venue. The lawmakers will be silly to attend any meeting in any venue until Fubara presents the budget and release all their witheld salaries. At this point, Fubara has nothing to negotiate with. If they attend the meeting, Fubara will read it as a sign of weakness. |
Bobloco:Why is Fubara worried about the 27 gang members when he has the authentic 3? As the bravest politician in Nigeria, Fubara should ignore the 27 clowns as the people are behind him. |
Iceberg3:Settle fight? Fubara is not a coward. He will never settle, he will fight to the end. |
phantomxx:Why invite clowns to a meeting when you have the authentic 3 members? A sane person will totally ignore clowns not writing them official letters of excuse and invitations. It is typical of myopic people like you to laugh at the beginning but cry at the end when reality sets in. |
Jessewizy:Fubara does not yet understand the pit he has dug for himself. He is still playing the hard man by refusing to follow the supreme court's order because he believe the people aka militants and top politicians are behind him. |
SendoSendal:He is being foolish. Such invitations are meaningless in law. He ignored supreme court orders and at the same time wants to control the assembly members he hasn't officially recognised. The assembly members are under no obligation to answer him, it is not part of their constitutional duties. In fact, it is unsafe for them to visit Fubara given how he tried to burn down the assembly while they were inside it once. |
prinzedy:But the members are already gone according to you? Why is Fubara inviting a group that the "people" of Rivers state have rejected? Why not just ignore the clowns and focus on the 3 authentic members led by Oko Jumbo? |
pongwa:She said what? You made a claim, I asked for evidence and you are telling story. it's safe to Natasha sexually harassed the senate assembly with her lewd dressingIf you can't find any of the lewd dressing pictures, you can as well provide a reputable source where she said the above herself. |
erico2k2:You are missing the point. Judges don't make law. If you take someone to court over land ownership for example. Does that mean the defendant is a criminal? Regardless of the verdict, whether you win or lose the case. Judge will decide Mr. A is the rightful owner and that is the end of it. No sentence, no punishment. No crime was committed in such a case. Such cases are collectively referred to as civil cases. |
Trump is extremely dull. The fentanyl is just an excuse. He is trying to fight multiple powerful blocks at the same time edged on by semi-literate sycophants. US will lose badly in an all out trade war. |
tinsel:You need your head examined if you think the issue is about respect. |
That Kingibe is the worst. Riding under the banner of Labour party to become the defender of corrupt practices. It is as if she was hired as one of Akpabios special adviser. |
pongwa:Can you post some of those lewd dressing? |
A lot of ignorant fellow have been attacking Natasha for not reporting to the police bla bla bla. The fact is any sexual offense outside rape is treated as minor issue in Nigeria. Conviction is nearly impossible regardless of the evidence presented. So, the only penalty lies in workplace disciplinary actions such as suspension, demotion or sack. |
erico2k2:It doesn't matter where the statement is made. It remains a non-criminal act. As you can see, the claim is tied to a church.Even if we accept this, it is is not a crime. No financial benefit/loss, no crime! |
This LINO group formed by Fubara to speak on behalf of Ijaws. The government doesn't even need Tompolo in this case. Fubara is free to FAFO. |
Immatex:It is not a shame. The people doing 2, 3 jobs(menial) are the ones promoting the narrative. They aren't ashamed of it. I have better work life balance here in England than I had in Nigeria, better than my peers in Nigeria and I earn way better. It depends on the walk. You must be some sort of professional. Land in Nigeria has no little or no value. Still looking to sell the ones I left behind before they steal them.Your lands must be in a remote jungle. Lands is effectively the most stable with the highest return. No other investment comes close. BTW, I am speaking from past and current experience. |
kissdabride:Celebrate while you can. A tsunami is coming if he continues to act like a king. |
“Firstly, Ramadan is a completely Muslim issue. It involves no other faith. CAN should stay out of it.”It stops being a muslim issue when you close all schools even private ones because of muslims. A muslim issue is an issue that does not impact the life of non-muslims or require them to comply to its rules. “Secondly, Muslims are the overwhelming majority in those four states and the state governments in a democratic country like Nigeria should not deny the majority Muslims what they wish. This idiot is now talking about majority. Since when can majority abridge the rights of minority on a private issue like religion. “Did those state governments threaten not to allow them to resume after Ramadan? How is this relevant to the issue at hand? “What exactly does CAN want? The apex Christian body should stop playing God in the affairs of Muslims.”It becomes the affairs of everybody when you use government powers to enforce dubious religious rules. |
cyberguy72:That is not my job. If you are interested in the electoral act, search it on Google. It will be on the front page. But if you find it too long, get the supreme court ruling and check why they cancelled the previous election. You will see the parts of electoral act Fubara violated. |
phantomxx:Where will Fubara get the money to fund millitants when he has been impeached? If there is even a shred of evidence of him backing militants with his limited loot, he will be charged with treason along his top associates. All his accounts and associates frozen. You must be naive to think all militants must either be like Tompolo or they will become Fubara's foot soldiers. Most are content with being followers as they were during the militancy days. You fail to see the deeper troubling picture... which is why I am tempted to ask ... how old are you? 😂You can't even see the surface picture, you are completely blinded by emotion. I don't need to ask your age, anybody who lived through the militancy days already know there is no way the inconsequential Fubara can sustain militancy when there is zero chance of him ever coming back to power if impeached. You think militancy is a joke or video game? |
What are the chance of Obasa willingly giving up power? The deal doesn't even make sense. He has a record of impeachment already and the re-election doesn't change that. |
phantomxx:You think this is the days of ideological militancy? Every militant warlord have tasted wealth and known the difference between life and suffering in the creeks. It is not even as if this is for something worthwhile like resource control or fundamental rights of people. The government doesn't need the military, it only has to contract and pay other militants to take care of poorly funded Fubara militants. Same way Tompolo is doing a great job fighting other oil bunkerers. Fubara is a nonentity in the scheme of things. |
erico2k2:False claim is lying about an item usually a product, a qualification in order to gain financial advantage. In fact, the only person who can claim civil damages in this case is the church. Again, the police shouldn't be detaining people based on civil complaints. This is no different than going on Channels TV as a car expert(who actually never owns no car) and saying Bentley cars are most fuel efficient. If people call out the lie, then it will be idiotic for Bentley to jump into the issue. Only Channels could reasonably sue in such case. I am not saying the Real Estate company in this case can't sue but they will lose the case and I am sure their lawyers would have told them the same thing. This is why they are using the police to illegally punish the woman like many Nigerians like to do. |
spencekat:It was hard the last time. He was misled by people who thinks Fubara is a king and can do no wrong. |
