Anybody can protest but the purpose of the protests will be defeated if they don't consider the realities on ground.


The reality is to join hands with the major opposition party to defeat Tinubu's party, mere protests can't achieve anything.

The Government can't say Tinubu should not participate in politics because somepeople are protesting.

Now I get your point. The protesters can't stop Tinubu from participating in politics because
he has a right to. But their message is directed at Lagosians, not Tinubu.
For all we know, some of the protesters might already be part of the opposition party.

Nigeria constitution gurantees freedom of assembly and protest.
