I would pardon your level of ignorance for referring to me as a kid afterall it's just the beginning of the year. Nairaland is a faceless forum maybe that's why things are the way they are matrix199: |
Listen to yourself all over again say that he doesn't know it all and tell me if you actually made sense with that statement ☺️ matrix199: |
I received the greatest shock of my life a week ago when a lecturer friend of mine in one of the prestigious Federal University in Nigeria, and a PhD holder in Finance doesn't know what USDT is. He erroneously assumed that Bitcoin is the sole property of a single individual who is at liberty to shut down the cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) whenever he feels like. The bottom line is that how could a supposedly guru in Finance who has several published papers in finance related topic under his belt, know nothing about recent advancement in the financial market like the digital currency known as cryptocurrency I am baffled to know that I am well informed than the majority of my friends in the Department of Finance where this same friend of mine lectures despite not being a financial person or expert. |
I was addicted to gambling at a time in my life. I always have this "loser mentality" every time I lose a bet until I decided to break away from gambling addiction after 2years of gambling and I have not look back since. At the moment, I only play games once during the weekend for fun@N100. The Koko of the matter is that gambling isn't for everybody. There are people that have the grace and luck when it comes to gambling. Why not leave gambling to them. I have friends who win their bets back to back week in week out. That doesn't entail I will or should be like them. I made the mistake early on but have now corrected my myself Oluwadrey44: |
And who says the man in question belittled his family members ![]() Kingpin1000: |
Naira Marley once sang and I quote: "If you marry, boy like me, you go enjoy yourself But, If you curse my mother, you pack your things and go If you marry boy like me, you go gbadun yourself But, if you curse my father, it's bye bye bye" Men in the house, how would you handle a woman that not curse you and your generation with madness forgetting that she also had children with you but as well cursed your aged parents with madness due to a misunderstanding between you and her? Mind you, she is yet to apologize to the husband or his parents. Misunderstanding will surely arise in any marriage but cursing the spouse parents and refusing to apologize is a no no for me. Would you as a man continue to keep such woman while pretending that all is well or would you send her packing back to her parents house pending when she show remorse for such an abominable act. To the male and female folks out there, I will appreciate your sincere contribution to this topic. THANKS in advance. |
Fear no let me ask am

|
He is a very principled man. Very religious and doesn't play with his God been a devoted Muslim. Extremely rich and bless with four grown up children with the second of his children getting married in a month time. He retired from the bank 2 years ago having risen to the pinnacle of his career in the banking industry having served in different capacities for almost 35 years. Yes, the wife is uncultured and ill-mannered. He knows already and has been managing her all these years. He is presently in court seeking to divorce his wife and has vowed that nothing would stop him from divorcing his wife. My question is what could possibly make a man thrown in the towel and walk out of his marriage after so many years together? I will like to know. |
Would appreciate it if you could breakdown your English for a layman like myself to comprehend RightToReject: |

A friend of mine is doing good physically, mentally, spiritually and socially since his marriage crashed. To be precise, the guy is balling presently. I know this because he is my friend. Right now, he has peace of mind %. Adding weight and he is looking fresher. My question is are women necessary Evil? Apart from children what else do woman have to offer that cannot be gotten elsewhere ![]() Ladies in the house shouldn't take it the wrong. I am only asking the question to broaden my horizon. THANKS. See earlier thread https://www.nairaland.com/6749711/marriage-finally-crash |
This snake was killed this night around my neighborhood. What's the name of the snake called?
|
Point of correction, it's not me but a friend. Why not take time and read an earlier thread that was posted in the original post. Tell exackt were in my original post I said God has something to do with the separation A marriage that draws u closer to the pit of hell and Farer from God is not the Lord's doing. Kobojunkie: |
Stop being emotional about matter wey no concern you. May I ask, would do you rather die continuing in a marriage that have shown so many red flags directed at killing you or rather walk away from it. What's even the big deal about divorce Bill Gates and his wife did it. The Amazon guy also went through the same process. Pastor Chris Okotie and Oyakilohmen did same And countless number of person and you are here talking about divorce as if it's a big deal. Is it not the same our Lord and personal saviour that said that "if your hand, eyes, legs make you sin you should cut it off". Tell me, how is this passage of the bible different from a marriage union bedevilled with constant threat to life, irreconcilable differences, constant nagging and so many other vices that's prone to leading one of the party or parties to sin. Tell meKobojunkie: |
You failed to address the issue of notable pastors divorcing their wives in time past. Same bible talked about putting away one's wife if she is found guilty of adultery. Tell me, what one should do if your his or her has constantly been threatened in the marriage. Should such person continue with the marriage because God say so or not? Kobojunkie: |
Countless so-called men of God have gotten divorced from their estranged wife and heaven did not fall and you are here on Nairaland talking bullshit Kobojunkie: |
Keep decieving yourself with God saying he hates divorce. When the so called marriage isn't working the parties should stay put in the marriage, especially when one party feels his or her has been threatened by the other party repeatedly Kobojunkie: |
https://www.nairaland.com/6749711/marriage-finally-crash Please see earlier thread above to understand the crux of the matter. His experience staying alone after many years of marriage are as follows: 1. He is beginning to think clearing and have a direction and purpose in life void of her constant nagging, entitlement mentality with almost zero contribution to the family purse monthly and constant threat to his life. 2. His housing project has suddenly pick up at a rapid rate. 3. His overall house expenses has dropped tremendously since she left. 4. He is beginning to add weight and feeling happy and relax unlike before. 5. He is beginning to realize that he can actually do without her. In other words, he cook his food to his taste now that the wife is gone. Washes his clothes with pleasure and does general house cleaning with joy. 6. He is beginning to believe those who said that marriage is nothing but a sham which is programmed more as a retirement plan for ladies especially the ones that contribute next to nothing to supporting the home front. 7. The only thing he misses right now are his children who are with their mum. Nothwitstanding, he is making arrangements to see them on a regular basis and take care of his children % It's the Lord's doing that he has finally escaped the entanglement and enslavement of his wife. He is a jolly good fellow right now. |
I said a friend and not me. You're right, her mum has an history of mental and emotional imbalance. Though he would have love filed for divorce, he wouldn't want to do that now given her present condition and concern for his kids cococandy: |
Sold my Baby Boy last week at a given away price having been left frustrated by the steering pump which keeps leaking all the time Damolux01: |
Who said he frustrated his wife? The matter seems to be more spiritual than physical. Besides, she had barely settled down after spending the past 3weeks holidaying in her home town in her mummsy house. There was no argument, fight or quarrel whatsoever sisisioge: |
Be more specific about the kind of details you need and I promise to do my best to provide it Fundamentalist: |
That I cannot say. What I know for sure was that the step father never supported the marriage right from the onset. He is a greedy fellow that believes that whoever that intends to marry her step daughter must have a lot of money. My guy doesn't have that type of money greenie77: |
The 3rd of September is significant to someone I know given that it was 10 years ago (2011) that he got married to his wife. Exactly 10 years after, instead of marriage anniversary the wife ran mad on same date. Thank God that she is okay now. He has been disrespected, abused and treated with disdain by his wife, her mum, step father and step siblings all these years. He was even accused by the wife's step father of being responsible for his wife madness. Mind you, she is a product of a broken home. Haven taken everything in his stride and sacrificed everything to keep his family together, he thinks it's time to call it quit before he dies before his time and would welcome useful suggestions on how he could go about it. Children expenses would be taken care of. The marriage was carried out in the Court registry. |

A friend is in need of valuable information and link that could enable him relocate abroad. 1. Specifically, he requires information about ideal countries to relocate to. 2. Cost of relocating abroad. 3. Added skills he should learn before relocating abroad. 4. Useful information that could speed up the relocation process. 5. Useful internet sites and contacts that could help including agencies. 6. Minimum budget required to relocate abroad. 7. Jobs that he might fit into given his qualifications and work experience. Mind you, he is a First Class Graduate from a reputable Federal University in Nigeria. Holds a masters degree in human resources management and a PhD in Business Administration (specializing in Organisational behaviour). And has over eleven years teaching experience in a Federal University in Nigeria. Given the current state of this country you can't fault him for wanting to seek for greener pastures abroad. Your suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks and God bless you in advance. |
I desperately need someone, anyone to explain to me in practical terms what's she is up to as she wouldn't open up to me Kobojunkie: |
She was formally a Grail messenger like her mum. But it seems she has gone back to the sect Kobojunkie: |
The words were spoken in English same way you pray to our Lord Jesus Christ. But in her case it was the Queen of Womanhood and when I confronted her she was like she was praying for the protection of the home. Kobojunkie: |
Do yourself some good by reading and comprehending what was written up there You do not to comment on the thread if you do not have something valuable to say Missyajoke: |
