RomanceRe: "5" Strong Reasons For Our Generational Moral Failures by xpac01(op): 6:59am On Jan 16, 2016
AwesomeDuru:
There's no such thing as Moral Failures. The society is simply evolving and you're being left out. I think your idea of morality has something to do with your Nigerian Religious Mentality.. Trust me, that is so old century.
OMG! Did I hear someone saying evolvinghuh
Celebrating nudity rather than intelligence you call that evolvinghuh
Celebrating public show rudeness rather than public show of brilliance you call that evolvinghuh
Celebrating negative noise rather than positive shows you call that evolving huh
Celebrating insanity rather sanity you call that evolving huh And come to think of it you're a young man. Choi! Now I see more reason why our generation is in great trouble. I earnestly pray God opens your eyes to understand meaning of evolution.

F22RAPTOR:
Sadly true. A reversal of roles has happened;trying to keep to morals can label you the bad one and playing along with every nonsense can make you porpular. Dont blame young people, nobody wants to be isolated from the pack.
Just imagine that bro. Where are we headed with this huh
Romance"5" Strong Reasons For Our Generational Moral Failures by xpac01(op):
It's so appalling when we place our thought impressions on the rate our society's morality seems to be eroding gently toward an irrecoverable limit. Now, I'll like us to take little looks to these 5 points which (in my opinion) are strong reasons for these decadence we see around today.
1. MEDIA: Be it social media like our nairaland or other media like television e.t.c, the impression they strike on the minds of our generation cannot be overemphasised. We find some corrupt practices perpetrated at some remote areas made easily reachable to us via this medium. Most times it appears as though this are most interesting things happening in our society, example, when a topic like: pics: Annie Idibia Exposes Cleavage is uploaded here, you see it generating more traffic than a topic like: Forum Game: Trace The Centre of The Box. Most times you see the former making front page while the latter languishes at the "back page". If only this medium can go much on promoting programmes that are mentally upbuilding.
*Sad face*

2. SECULAR ACTS OVATION: Now am not totally against secular acts, cos we've had and are still having so many of them who made more impacts than the socalled gospel artists. E.g Fela Kuti (trying to overlook his weedisism) also 2baba (trying to overlook his wayward di*k). But looking at the kind of ovation granted to some of immatured artistes like the ones we had at the recent Headies award, you can agree with me that our generation will be tempted to see this dudes as major characters worth emulating. We can see it even escalated by our own honourable Dangote who moved to reconcile them. I wonder if he also reconciled their modus operandi of musical perceptions. But of a truth, with the influence this guy have ganer, they can easily turn minds of our upcoming world to gold. You can see more of this ovations by the way they get sponsorship by the companies owned by parents of our generation. Meanwhile we have some bright minds lavishing in colleges due to lack of sponsorships. Now can someone tellme where we headed.
*drops tears*

3. PLACE OF WORSHIP: you may or may not have seen this coming. The demon has crept into places of worship and it has been allowed to settle quite fine. Instead of joining in the war against the decadence and shift of morality some spiritual leaders and elders have bent toward allowing more of the world than God in the places of worship. I remember a church I once attended. They featured lots of sexy songs in their church, later the pastor stood to say, "yes we can't say a total no to such songs because we have songs of solomon in the bible. *wipes tears*

4. THE FAMILY: as it is said, charity begins at home. I believe every corrupt dressing must have stepped out of a home. It all started like a mild fire. While it's supposed to be curbed it got overlooked till it grew wilder and wider. We can even imagine parents of some of our present generation sponsoring their kids to sing trash some even go on to stage to rock girls with them e.g *remind me again*. I also remember during the holidays, I decide to go on a 3 days visit to my uncle's house, while there, I discovered that at night the most popular channel among the kids was "soundcity". For God's sake I began asking them of their positions in their respective schools, one was even happy telling me who took position 29 outta 36. From that moment I tried controlling them, I instantly started observing the impunity and hatred they generated towards me. I tried reporting this to their parents before I left. I don't really know if it was properly noted. *smh*

5. EMOTIONS: now bringing it a bit psychological. Naturally, things that brings flesh gratification seems more interesting and easily obtainable while other hand, things that are morally upbuilding require more discipline and hardwork. Now guess whathuh So also mud and gold respectively. No wonder we desire for things that gratify our flesh just for a short period, while overlooking a long term path toward postive generational impact. No wonder the recent quest for money rather than love among our girls and quest for money rather than work among our young men. Our world need more of the positive impactors, our nation needs to rediscover how to direct it's effort towards bringing about positive change.
*throws away phone, sobbing loudly, calling Lalasticlala whoever wanna add something*
CelebritiesRe: What Is Happening To Our Music Industry by xpac01(m): 7:48pm On Jan 15, 2016
And it's so surprising that so many parents sponsor this artists and most times their own children like case of Davido to send this corrupt messages to the minds of our upcoming generation. I weep when I see all this happening seriously.

It all depends on the course. If it's marketable course, you have a good chance.

Even graduates from conventional universities with none marketable courses find it hitchful getting a job.
