And now that peninsular actually falls under the now secessionist Ambazonia . And in fact,I just discovered there's a Bakassi secessionist movement either from Cameroon or Ambazonia (if successful) . All street and town names on the island are Calabarian names ,plus a few other historical artifacts and events . The judgement surrounding the forfeiture of the land to Cameroon remains sketchy .
Do you think there may be a possibility of ever retrieving Bakassi based on factual and reasonable evidence ? I think it can be retrieved, though It remains to be seen.
