Feshizzy:I bought the inverter in 2010, used it till 2011 when the battery needed replacement. Since then, it had been in my store until I dug it out recently. So its not a new product. |
Xtfield:Thank God, I've procured the additional 150ah battery for 47k and two 130w solar panel @ 20k each. Now I have uninterrupted power supply. Thanks to ceejay, I wouldn't have tried this in years. |
ashjay001:This is a very unfair comment on this great leader of Nigeria and I guess like someone commented here, some of this misinformation is due to the scrapping of history from our school curriculum. To set the records straight, Gowon only ruled for five years (January 13 1970 to July 29 1975) having spent the first four years fighting the Biafran rebellion. Most of the road networks that criss cross the nation today were constructed under his régime. The fact that some of those roads are just being reconstructed is a testimony of the very good work that was done on them. In the educational sector, the Federal Unity Schools were introduced under his administration, several Federal universities were not only built but were well funded - Uniport, Unical, Unijos, Unilorin, Unimaid, BUK, Unisokoto etc. Under his administration unlike other military rulers after him, students were well cared for. The UPE - Universal Primary Education was the brain child of his administration. His administration established the students loans board where indigent students in higher institutions could take loans to complete their studies. Scholarships to study in foreign universities were granted in their hundreds. So good were our universities under Gowon that foreigners came to Nigeria to study, by foreigners, I do not mean just Africans but Europeans, Americans, Asia etc. Gowon, to ensure national unity after the civil war established the NYSC scheme. The scheme is still operational till today. Besides it is to his credit that that two years after the civil war, Nigeria hosted the 2nd All African Games where Nigeria topped the medals table. Besides, the now dilapidated National Stadium in Lagos was built under his administration. These are just a few of his accomplishments that I can remember. I sincerely believe that Gowon ( Go On With One Nigeria) was a great leader. Unfortunately, the love for the grandeur of office coupled with bad advice from those close to him did not allow him to know when to quit the stage. He was so popular and loved that for nine years, no attempt was made to topple him. No military ruler after him enjoyed such acceptability amongst the rank and file of the armed forces and the Nigerian populace. |
Johnsonifeoluwa:I don't think you can obtain a drivers licence urgently. It will take at least 3 to six months. Go to the nearest FRSC office. Don't allow yourself to be scammed by anyone promising to fast track the process. |
I need a replacement battery for my HP 2710 laptop. How much? |
surrogatesng:Thank you all for your responses. Meanwhile, my innova inverter is working perfectly now. I no longer need the heating UPS. I just need to buy an additional 150ah battery and two 130w solar panels. In the interim, I'm enjoying my gotv and rechargeable fans . |
Where is Nurse Abigael now? |
ceejay80s:Pardon my question please. If I connect two 150ah 12v batteries in parallel, does that make them 24v? Can I still use a 12v charger to charge the connection or do I migrate to a 24v charger? Please I need an urgent response as I am about to purchase an additional battery and a smart charger. Secondly, my current set up of 150an battery with a 650v UPS is 100% solar dependent for charging. I am trying to buy an intelligent smart charger so I can take advantage of my 9.5kv generator which comes on an average of 3-4 hours a day to augment the solar charging. Now my question is, if I connect the charger, will I have to disconnect the solar charging cables or do I leave it ? Will taht not amount to charging from two sources at the same time? Third question, at the moment, I have two panels of 130ah totaling 260ah. I am looking to increase the panels so I can get more xsolar charge from the sun. Can I increase with two of any capacity like 80w or 100w or must it be 130w? Thank you all. |
NwaAmaikpe:Curse? Me, I only saw a woman telling her husband to calm down that God is in control. |
surrogatesng:Can the 500w inverter work without PHCN light? My school is not connected to public power supply. |
MY experience thus far on this local inverter has been a mixed grill. Before I stumbled on this thread, I had fallen into the hands of a marketer I met on Jiji who sold me a 500w solar generator which turned out to be made up of a 100ah battery, a 500w power inverter, 240w solar panels, 30ah charge controller. The battery and power inverter were packaged in a box and labelled made in China. Unfortunately, the power inverter kept giving problems until I had to bring out my old UPS (i have several of them). The first UPS did not last 24 hours as it overheated (I did not install a fan) so the heat destroyed the Mercury UPS. Nest I coupled a bluegate UPS But this time, I tried installing a fan on it. Unfortunately, the fan went up in flames as soon as I switched on the UPS. I extracted a fan from my old Desktop power pack and tool the UPS to an electronics engineer to have it installed. Unfortunately, it also went up in flames as soon as it was connected to the battery. I am however not deterred. I simply got my 30w rechargeable fan to become a body guard for the UPS until I source a bigger and stronger fan. Any one who knows where I can get a rugged fan f0or the UPS should please holla me. And by nthe way, the overheating is not due to any overload. I use my soalr inverter set up solely for bulbs. Total number of bulbs and two rechargeable fans used at one given time do not exceed 100w. Meanwhile I have an old innova inverter which I bought in 2010. I've sent it to a tech for servicing. I plan to replaced the UPS with this inverter. What do you folks think? |
Effiezynews:Young lady, I do not know you and your question was not directed at me, but I beg you in the name of God, please stay away from forex. Do not believe those sweet stories so called successful traders throw about. Fotec trading is one sure way to financial loss, poverty and depression. Take it from one who has been there before. |

Why is government involving itself in what does not concern them? Its not government responsibility to feed our children. It is my responsibility as a parent to do that. |
Op quoted Falana out of context. Listen to the recording very well and you will see that Falana only quoted Archbishop Okogie. So if you must criticize anyone, it should be the Archbishop and not Falana. |
