Please Sir, how much did you pay for your TCC? In my SIRS After all enquiries from different sources the range I was getting was between 100 - 130k
KayVann:
No I wasn't asked to pay a fine. It was a very cordial relationship, I opened up to the tax controller and my issues were addressed appropriately. I am resident in Abuja so I wentbto FIRS not SIRS. I am not sure if same applies in other states.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by xtosync: 4:42pm On Feb 01, 2018
Ok. I thought you were in the pool already. However, I submitted my POF with my personal account and made a Fixed deposit of the exact amount in CAC expected/require fund (The highly fluctuating USD and CAD is scaring the shit out of me embarassed sad). I didn't include my corporate account. For work experience I submitted reference letters from clients (3), contract letters, CAC docs and receipts of payments for job done along with checks (photocopies kept) issued. I am worried about TCC as I don't have that now. I believe that as a Business Enterprise you get your TCC from your state inland revenue service in form of Personal Income Tax Cert. and not FIRS which is for Limited Liability companies. (I stand to be corrected on this...)
From trends so far, I believe my application should either be in CIO Sydney (I prayerfully hope not... undecided) or in LnVO (London Visa Office, God help me!).
In respect of @bigfido and @boss13 experiences, TCC, Business/Corporate SA and pictures are what I left out. Lets see how it goes if I am going to get any ADR for these
I hope other persons applying as Self-Employed learn and obtain valuable info from all these. It will surely end in praise and all to the glory of God.

flosk:

Oh i am yet to enter the pool. You mean you use personal account for your business and that was what you submitted?. Someone told me it make one land in LVO. Please which other documents did you submit for your self employed?

You have similar interest in documents for self employed like I do. What is your AOR and current status? I am sitting at NA2 now since November.

flosk:

Thanks. Please i also use my personal account for the inflows from my customers. Do you think this can suffice or will it pose a problem?

I use a business name for my cac not limited liability company

Before.
All is on pause now until the strike is called off.
stonecoldcafe:

Hi. Did you get this done during this NASU strike era or before?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by xtosync: 5:51pm On Jan 26, 2018
Uniben PG transcript cost 5k for local address and 10k to foreign address (e.g WES). This was the cost as at January 2017. The NASU... strike has placed all activity on pause. As for contact, sorry I don't.
Obyroli:

please do you have a contact and how much did it cost .Thanks

Obyroli:

Are you sure you are not partner-in-crime with this MOSTHIGH33? "Just thinking out aloud. angry grin"
Lamzee:

Please I will advise you to put this down with the following reasons:
1. He sent a Pm to me also cos I needed someone to help me pay for application fee, he told me he used his Nigeria number for whatsapp and he sent his BBM ID,he told him I don't use BBM anymore so I can't continue the transaction anymore
2. To cut the story, I told him to verify my name on facebook (which I did not ask for his), then ask for my payment details and helped me to pay, I sent his money to him immediately I verified the payment . I can post our chats and the screenshot of my payment

Please I am also a self employed PPR applicant. My AOR is 3rd Nov. I have been in NA2 since 18th Nov. I want to know if the tax clearance certificate you did was with your state internal revenue service or FIRS? My business is an enterprise not a Company (i.e Limited). Contract Jobs I have done were limited to my state. I am at sea where to go for TCC before I get ADR of it from CIC. Please, help a worried Brother.

KayVann:
Dear Nairaland family,
Silent reader in the house, I just thought to share my story as I have been so inspired by the posts on this forum. My Canadian journey started in 2015 when I wanted to further my education, 3 times my study permit was declined because of the most ridiculous reasons. I started pursing express entry actively in 2016, wrote IELTS 4 times, has great scores but my writing kept reading 6.5. After my 4th attempt, I requested for a remark in which my writing score was reviewed to a 7, with that, I was able to secure ITA.
Below is my timeline
ITA 7th August
AOR 24th August
Medicals passed 3rd September
IP 1 3rd September
Na2. 9th September
Adr 6th December
Ip2 6th December
Adr submitted 14th December
PPR 12th January.
Family of 4.

My application was not perfect but God covered it, I used a fixed deposit and I applied as a business owner (partnership to be precise). I had to show proof of business with proof of work done, receipts, pictures and written notes from clients, I turned in our company account bank statement as well. The Adr was for me to provide tax clearance certificates for the companies. This is just to say, self employed have no issues with express entry as long as you can prove the legitimacy of your business.
It's been a long and excruciating journey but God gave me the grace to sail through with losing my elements, I am extremely grateful to the Almighty God.
Never give up on your dreams, with God all things are possible and he makes all things beautiful in his time. Thank you all for the information freely shared on this forum, may God reward you all with your hearts desire.

How did you arrive at 549? Do you have Canadian education or work experience? If not, you can't have up to that. I will advise you check your CRS score again.
Draw happens mostly every fortnight. There will likely be another draw next week Wednesday. So, I will advise you get your ECA done as fast as possible while the cut off is still low. Who knows if the cut off will go up again just like last year.

I don't know much about employment reference letter as self employed. I will rather wait for people with more knowledge than I do to answer your question

sorry I made a mistake. It 459 not 549

Thanks for your response so far, I really appreciate. You are very kind.

1. Nope, you will not get extra score for Mpil
2. I think so, not sure though.
3. Why do you need PNP? With your qualification, age, good IELTS score (8.5,8, 7.5 and 7.5 in LRSW), you can have a CRS score of 466 (if you are single).

Thanks for your prompt response. actually my IELTS score is 8, 9, 7 and 7.5. I have a CRS score of 549 (just check it now). I am still single.
As at when I wrote the IELTS exam I didnt know that my Mphil result will take this long to get ready. I would have done my WES ECA before now. Just complete 32yrs a month ago. Do I still stand a chance since they have already given out ITA? When will be the next ITA? let me know if I can make it.
I hope to start processing my WES Evaluation next month (When I am expecting reasonable cash).
Again as a self employed person who have never worked for anyone before (Schooling and hustling all this while) how do I make out document for proof of my working Experience. Although my business is registered with CAC (since 2013) but the cash flow is low.

I really need help on this now. If I had know since I probably will have taken a better move and been amongst those with ITA now **feeling bad**

Hello everyone,

Please, Guru's in the house. I would like to know if adding an Mphil Degree will have any additional positive effect in WES Evaluation and my Express Entry Application. I've a BSC(Biochem), PGDE and MSC(Biochem) already. I have also written the IELTS exams since July last year with good score (overall: 8.0). But I just finished my Mphil(Biochem) Degree and waiting to collect statement of result by February.
I am 32yrs and Single. I am self employed with over 3yrs ICT working experience.

1. Should I wait to collect my statement of result (Mphil) before applying for WES so that I can include it or I should just ignore it since I have my MSC certificate.
2. Again can statement of result fly for the WES evaluation, since it is a new acquisition and certificate can't be ready until late this year.
3. Based on my above qualifications which province is best that I could possible apply to for PNP.

Thanks for your anticipated response.

Please is dere anyone that has successfully register for their courses dis semester? I have more than enough money on my e wallet for course registration and each time i try registering it gives an error message that my e wallet balance is not sufficient for the registration.
What can i do?

Have you made any payments this semester? If no, you have to (possibly the minimum as will be shown to you when you want to generate RRR). Even if you have more than 30,000 as your balance, you have to pay in something every semester before your portal for semester registration can be active.
This is why students are advised to always pay in the amount they will use for a given semester and not excess.

I am a bit puzzled at the moment. I just checked my result and to my greatest shock saw MTH 307 as D. My three best in the TMA is 28/30. I wrote well on exam day and wasn't expecting anything less than a B. I can't imagine I score less than 22 out of 70 in the exams. Please I need advice guys. I have never had a D in all my results. Should I apply for a remark or should I let this lie. This score is just totally unfair and cruel. I am 100% sure that "grin" is not mine.
Please what do I do? I am about to go bunkers with thoughts.

I experienced same. You have to pay in more funds for the compulsory fee to be deducted. It is programmed that way. You can generate the minimum amount payable.

Thanks iyatrustee, you just allayed my fears. God bless you. smiley

Hello House.
I have over 13k in my portal account, yet it is still not allowing me to do my course registration. Must I pay in again some thousands (I don't have up to 13k again o) before I can do my registration? Please anyone with such experience should clarify on this. I paid in enough money for first and second semester registrations and exams last semester.
