Nairaland / General / Is 'nairaland Forum' Worth Advertising??? by Xyge(m): 12:58pm On Dec 07, 2013
Hello Folks..! Just stumbled upon a thought recently...a question parse... One which pertains to this very Forum- Nairaland. Question goes thus: IS NAIRALAND WORTH 'ADVERTISING'? What benefit do you derive from Seun's 'property' that makes you wanna tell or spread it to other non-nairaland folks..? I actually did a form of 'advertising' to a bestie of mine. She loves Literature(books) to a fault! And i did introduce this forum to her... She'ld get it in abundance here, ain't it?!... The answer is an obvious 'yes'! Of course, there's the literature section.. Without much ado, i'ld love to hear(read) your opinions as regards this topic... What makes you wanna share 'Nairaland Forum' with other peeps The benefit of info, jokes, edu?... Keep 'em coming...!

Nairaland / General / Fruits And Insects..! by Xyge(m): 11:11pm On Dec 03, 2013
There sure is a particular fruit which stands out amid other 'plethora' of fruits there are.... I love Nanas! That's my way of saying 'bananas'... Call me a monkey, i don't care.... No be Papa God create them? Lol.. No mind me. Nobody wants to be called a monkey.. This post is not aimed at faulting or critisizing God for creating some creatures tho, but there're just some insects we're not very comfy having 'em aro und... Mine are two creepy crawlies of different species- Roaches and Bugs(especially bedbugs. The Yoruba folks call them 'ídun', i think)...ARHHHGGG! I have an aversion for them!
Sooo... I love Nanas, i hate bugs!
Foward yours. In this format.. E.g "love agbalumo, hate abutata"... Let the fun begin!

Afam4eva: When i joined Nairaland, i started from the Webmaster section then the politics section then the culture section and then the familiy section. I left the family section because it seems people are not interested in my advise. I thought i was a marital coach but no one seems to be buying my ogbanje advice.
Afamguy in da e-building! Yo dude, how you chilling na?! As regards your issues wif the family section, i think nobody wants to reckon wif your 'ogbanje' advice cos it's ogbanje.. Dunno wat ogbane means in your words, buh try making it more 'non-ogbanje' and your clan and kin of family sect. will accept it wif arms wide open... Hehehe..

Knock knock knock!!! On the 'beautiful gates' of Nairaland Forum...! Which section opens up first?
Well, the Literature section welcomes me in first, besides the frontpage... Then the family, romance and celebrities sections follow behind.. There're some other sections i've never visited..the 'monotonous' sections...lol.. The fashion and uhmm..politics sections especially..arghh i detest politics..! Moderators of these sections, hehehehe, i no sey una go don dey roast with vexation... Una too no go vex, no be my fault... Before una post, make una sure say na truth una dey yan o.! If u no fit mention at least 2 fellow n/lander wey dey regular for that section, then we need no soothsayer to tell us you're lying... PRAAHHH!
Eitherways, foward yours folks, lets have some real' nice funnnn..

Love y'all,
Speranza.

Family / Re: Couples Look Alike Over Time In Marriage.. How True? by Xyge(m): 5:19pm On Dec 01, 2013
I remember vividly, while in High school, in a biology class precisely, we had this very topic debated upon...and more was said 'bout the 'intimacy' effect as our homeboy, fasho said... One which the biology teacher attested to...
Two points u've forwarded, fash, buh that second point, friendship. C'ld you pls, elucidate on it.
Family / Re: Couples Look Alike Over Time In Marriage.. How True? by Xyge(m): 5:01pm On Dec 01, 2013
fasho01: Yea you're right. I guess it has to do with intimacy and closeness. This is not even restricted to couples. Even friends that are close and so used to themselves start having a resemblance.. At this stage they even think alike
Now i have someone who's reasons alike... That point you made, Fasho, the 'intimacy' part.. Think you have a point here... You know, when from both genes from both partners blend and blend and blend all over again....and this is a pointer to the 'Biologial factor' regarding this post.
Thumbs up brava!
