The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the increase in transport and local allowances of corps members during orientation programmes.

This was disclosed in a statement by Director Press and Publications department of the scheme, Mrs Adenike Adeyemi.

Adeyemi said 2018 Batch ‘A’ corps members lauded the increase when the Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Suleiman Kazaure visited the Ebonyi State Orientation Camp.

“The transport allowance for each corps member has been increased from N1,500 to N1,800, while the local allowance is now N1,400 up from N1,000.

“Kazaure said the increase was in line with the Federal Government’s approved minimum wage for Civil Servants,” Adeyemi added.

I perfectly understand as what she wrote on her thread didn't correlate with what you just wrote. Now, creating a thread on nairaland to counter her seem to me like a case where couples wash their dirty linen in public. Even if you both make up, the scars caused by these events would still be there as humans don't forget that easily so it would've been best you hadn't create the thread.

On the contrary, I believe it was needful to have created the counter thread. Nobody is washing any dirty linen in public here because these people concerned are not posting in their offline identity. It is all anonymous. The OP just wanted a balanced view, had no original intention of making the thread. I read his comment and the advice that prompted the thread.

I will advice him to call his babe and sit her down and have a serious chat. Avoid involvement of parents, friends or other third parties. Is it possible that the goods and services produced within a country can sustainably suffice for that country? Heavily armed robbers attacked 5 banks and a police station in Offa, Kwara State on April 5th, killing 9 policemen and several civillians.

Thanks very much once again my guy, I have made up mind this time to break it off and d only person that might want to stop me is my sis which I respect so much. I have told her everything,she was so shock with all my findings. She has told me to dump her ass without looking back.
The major challenges is that everyone has known her with me, the two families, the Church of God and my place of work. I know I will overcome it.
