importexpert: business is fine yemi, how is school and everything? All fine. |
lanre2009: I guess its ok now, was finally able to log in this night....Confirmed! Made a successful transfer minutes ago. |
Calm down Young! I know how it feel when people lie against us, but then, you went too far by involving his family and even parent. Remember, we all have parent (at least, most of us) who we will not like to be insulted like you just did now. Moreover, I personally don't see anything wrong in selling e-book as long as it's yours and not someone else's work. Cheers!! |
importexpert: if you have a question that have not been answered please patiently quote your questionWell done Sir, how's business? |
Where is ishilove? |
Tundenoni: thanks bros....please which can u recommend?Me? Recommend? No oh! Just pick anyone without much complain for now how hope things work out well. |
Update on Fafalux: After wasting money calling Fafalux, they claimed that their charges is $5.3 for shipping and 330Naira for clearing rather than the $5 advertised here. However, they charged the person that help me claimed the goods 1,700Naira for a goods less than a kg (a mobile phone) and which took 8 days to arrive Nigeria. Please, whenever you hear the name Fafalux, please, Run! Run for your life! |
Confirmed! |
dav8id: My oga u big pass dis cheap story by dis seller nahYou're very correct about the seller being a liar. Even before I patronise him, I knew he and Fafalux were working together. This is my last transaction with both the seller and Fafalux. |
MyHiDsDaar: hello guys good day to you, a lot of confusions here and there, today u wld hear that this is the best freight forwarding company the next day, the story is something else, other times peeps wld come out to smear another company's image, and others use the opportunity to lure customers to their sides, can i ask simple question, and lets , be honest to our selves, based on previous experiences and track records , no bias abeg oo, which among all these companies are reliable , this wld help a lot of newbies to make prompt choice on which to use, i wld be really glad if experienced impoters can answer this question, thank you and do have a nice dayFirst, let me correct you. No one is hear to damage the image of any company; even if there is anyone, I'm sure not part of it. The aim of this thread is to introduce new and cheap companies and to also share our experiences with them. If you had followed the previous thread, perhaps, you will understand better. Now, to your question. No company is reliable if you ask me. But then, it depends on your definition of reliable. I have used most companies known on NL and the ones not even posted here yet. They have at a particular time failed to meet my expectation. Therefore, it will be wrong saying a particular company is the best. |
goldtooth: Thank God for paypal. I can now transfer money to my seller in china myself. No extra charges @ 162.5 via access bank visa card and seller gets the money almost instantly same dayYou see, I thought about that option but the seller don't accept Paypal as means of payment. In fact, you MUST use Fafalux to pay him. I had no option and needed the item for a good friend. Below is his reply after sending my goods to Fafalux even when I instructed him to use St. Patrick Logistics. The thing is, they work together with Fafalux. "Dear , allready sent to fafalux , you will get delivery this week and never use any other nigerian logistic they are not safer at all . firstly they are not sitting legal in china , have some small room office secondly they use carrier for faster delivery who carry stock on daily basis by airline which is fully illegal and many time customer stop them and sieze their good also . if they use carrier 30 days then 5 days sure have problem . you are sitting in nigeria and just know their local office and nothing more you know about them how do they work , we know all these nigerian logistic these are fully illegal companies and not safer at all . once you will lost shipment then sure you will stop doing importing business in your all life . always use fafalux , safer and faster now" Though, I know there are some elements of truth from his reply. But shiping my goods via Fafalux was a no no for me. But then, I don't blame the seller one bit. |
uchman: FAFALUX:can someone say something about them of late!?Don't use them. I repeat, don't use them. I used them to pay a seller in China, after crediting their Nigeria account, payment confirmation took five days, and another two days before they finally paid the seller. Now, I believe my item is in Nigeria but I have no idea about my bill. I called their number two days back and they claim to be on holiday. Yesterday, I called their number, whoever I spoke will promise to send my bill, but till now, no text from them. Also, a business partner and friend transferred some amount worth over $300 to their account for more than 7 days now and they are yet to confirm his payment. |
semid4lyfe: I use 2 shipping agents - One for Express, another for Normal.St. Patrick Int'l Logistics for Normal and Nonnikings for Express, right? |
Thespecialone: I have known about CJ for a while now even had a couple of discussions with their oga. For me sha, it comes to a time where you stop jumping from shipper to shipper in the name of looking for lower prices. It's called coming of age. The reason I didn't post it was because I have not tried them. Just find at least two whose mode of operations fit with your business model and stick to them. My two cents sha.Well said. Building a relationship with a particular shipper matters a lot in this business. |
bashorundon: SellingPoint's Xiaomi Powerbanks.May I know the battery cell it's made of? |
EUGENE4GOO: So oga Bello u could not help me to explain thisFear not! Your item has been forwarded for delivery to Asaba from PH. You should receive your package today. |
funkyjms: My first order and the seller started on a deceitful note...If indeed your seller used HK instead of CH, then, you should be glad. You know why? HK is faster than CH. The tracking details will soon be available online. Happy Importation. |
enojie: Please I need a list of products to invest on and that is fast sellingCheck my signature! |
Birniwa: Hello Good PeopleLike Mayorall said, he might not have shipped the goods as he claimed. On the other hand, the seller might be right. Now, I ask, did he give you any tracking number? If yes, post it here so we can track and see if he is right. If you want him to ship the goods through HK post, you need to get your DHL money first by opening dispute and ask for a partial refund. NOTE: this is not advisable. Once he accept the dispute, the partial refund will go to your account while he receive the other part and might not ship the item as promise. Like I said in one of my post, I hate lies in online business, once I discover that a seller is lying to me, I will do anything possible to bring he/her down. Right now, your best bet is to follow Mayorall's advise. |
koredex4love: i think end is coming to third party very soon ,if what china air post is doing right now has come to stay.less than 10days i receieve an order.where nonikings and his cohorts are yet to clear my goods on normal shipping for over 18days on normal shipping, and they still want me to pay that huge amountThe truth is, third agents still remain the best unless you're buying in bit and don't have people on ground waiting for the arrival of their products. Have you ever bother to ask your sellers the maximum weight of goods that can be ship through CH Post? |
jayseehe: very true |
jayseehe: very truePlease, teach me how. |
jayseehe: those guys; Rony and Lee will give you HBP, unless you can endure....Some Aliexpress and Alibaba sellers are worst compare to Lee or Rony. If there is anything I hate about online business, then, it's lie. God! I so hate that thing. Has any Aliexpress seller ever lied to you? Oh! I remember, Betty! Now, compare Betty and these guys. The only risk involve in transacting with them is the lack of an escrow system and they also don't accept Paypal. But like they say, "the greatest risk is to never take a risk" PS: I'm not in any way endorsing these guys. Like the post I quoted states, it's better you buy from Dhgate, Aliexpress, Alibaba and other sites that operate an escrow system. If you can get scam by them, not even Fafalux can help you. A word they say is enough for the wise. It's only a foolish fly that follows a dead body to the grave. To be forewarned, is to be fore harmed. Happy Importation!! |
