Stuff gets on my nerves. Imagine, the last bill was delivered in a fortnight darkness period and it wasn't until the day before I paid last week we got to see light only for that day. Afterward, back to ground zero.

Then there's DSTV. Paying that bites as well evidently because you naturally need to power a generating set to "watch your money expire!"

First point, how did you arrive at the figure "90% of graduates from other institutions sort/cheat"?

Second point, aren't you of a diminished view to make such an authoritative assertion when you had your first degree at the said school and haven't even done a second degree at another institution?

It is funny yet uncalled for how we turn such flawed notions into varied and widely held beliefs. Such stereotypical viewpoints and biases keep making the rounds on a daily basis across the lands. Very sad.

But why are Nigerians so emotional like this? Why not employ rational thinking? Do you expect a super squad assembled at great cost to be working for a player of Kelechi's calibre? He is only a teenager, trying to work his way up the ropes (and he is doing an impeccable job at it by all indications!)

Truth be told, he got the support of his team mates yesterday - Jèsus Navas came and pulled him up for they were 2 goals behind at the time, and during his first goal, he did not waste time celebrating the goal for he knew that it was neither the time or place to do so.

He has banged a lot of goals but most of them have come in losing positions. Would you expect James Rodriguez at Real or Munir El Haddadi in Barcelona to dance after scoring when his team is losing??

One: his identity must not be given away because investigations are still ongoing.
Two: his family and friends would be at risk of backlash if his face is shown.

Personally, I believe this should serve as a deterrent to those frustrated by the hardship they face and at their paltry financial accrual. However, I know hope exists for all men.

The culprit seems to at least be remorseful and in his right senses. Grace abounds but let whoever thinks he/she stand well (and is financially well to do) take heed lest he/she falls.

People can be so judgmental! I sincerely wonder if any of you haven't ever led in some capacity. It is very easy to sit back and point hands but taking the bull by the horns and working is much more demanding.

The same treatment and condemnation meted out to the President Jonathan administration has been stepped up a notch in this present. Don't we ever learn?!

50% per cent of the people that could vie for this are abroad, getting better in enabling environments from Cotonou/Accra/even Lome to Cyprus while of the other half who remain back home, a sizeable portion are lost in "new and undemanding" fields just to make a living.

The Science of Engineering and Sciences at large is not a start-stop then start again mission; patience and persistent commitment is needed to break forth. Being an Engineer myself, I know all too well about the effects of under/unemployment and brain drain on this vibrant and ubiquitous discipline.

Hope exists in all, afterall. Best of luck to all who would take up the challenge.

A good move on paper, quite laudable but I only pray it yields tangible results in the community and state at large. Our 21st century public office holders keep creating innovative schemes to outsmart everybody and consume themselves in effect.

Personally, I was a dude all "pro-dating the older woman" until recently. I had only ever dated ladies who were older (my first was an age mate though.) Nonetheless, my major relationship to date was the deal breaker - she was five and a half years older yet we were seriously into each other. Had I been older, a tad more committed and forthright with my true feelings for her, I could have proposed in the least but it took our breakup to discover how far we had been entwined together. She remains the best I have met.

As nature would have it, my next lady friend turned out to be older as well (yeah, this was where I knew I had issues gravitating toward younger felines). All in all, I have come to realise that I would not be comfortable going down the aisle with an older lady, it is just too much - for the man, it seems right and easy but taking a look at it from the woman's side, I wouldn't want to put her in that spot! I am trying to desensitize myself from it.

To each as he/she is comfortable with for nothing is guaranteed in life. Love goes a long way but friendship goes even further in the union of a man and his wife I have gathered. Pursue what is on the inside which lasts for a lifetime.

The fact that the application detected some malware and/or infected files does not mean they were actually viruses. The said files may just be files with extensions that are unfamiliar to the AVG antivirus. Thus, it would tag them "viruses." Point to note is with Avast antivirus on PCs - the software tags so many files as infected only for the user to discover they are either game files, shortcuts, other software extensions or actual viruses.

You should look into the type of system files running on your Android device through a PC and make your own check. You'd understand better.

This is a high level of lawlessness in a foreign land. I witnessed this at Okorodudu Junction, along Effurun-Sapele Road this evening.

This white man shamelessly parked his car on the road and started urinating, right there in the very presence of everyone; as busy as that junction is!!! If a Nigerian tries this in this man's country, the resultant effect will be very disastrous!!!

When the thing hold you, if you like dey Ikwerre junction or Aso Rock gate or Onitsha motor park as e do me one time, you go first troway am before you reason anything!

First off, your question is a little puzzling. What is "without a visit to the mechanic save for regular maintenance?"
How would you categorize going to the shop for a "routine" check-up that turned into a mini-extensive fix-up??

Anyway, the longest I've had a car in my possession without a repair has been some 8 months....4 of which the vehicle was pretty much grounded from no use. The vehicle is a Toyota Camry Estate Wagon 1988 Model. Still my fave "old" school car to drive and uber-reliable too.

DSTV can lie, not all channels show on my DSTV. Channels like Ghana TV, Cloud, MNETW, MSTAR,stUni, Vuzu and others do not show on my access package. Though, the show some channels free as promised but not all channels..

Those said channels are region-dependent. You would equally be unable to view them on the premium bouquet except you reside in the region where they are offered, such as Ghana, Mozambique or Kenya. You would not expect to watch AIT or Silverbird while in South Africa, would you?

I seriously doubt that line of thought. We would just receive an SMS days before normal subscription terminates saying we should pay dues on time to ward against being cut off viewing as usual. This is business, and business must move. I stand corrected though.

Honestly, I feel strongly against this loan junket by president Buhari. We are a mono product economy, crude oil our economic mainstay has lost a lot of value in the world market and as cheaper cleaner alternative sources of energy are discovered it will continue to lose rank in the pecking order of global highly sought commodities.

Taking a loan at this time to finance our budget does not make sense, where are we going to get money to pay back? What are the terms of the loans? Is anybody watching out for the interest of ordinary Nigerians? When poo hits the fan, no one will be spared, including those among us who have refused to be objective about this government.

Crude oil will continue to lose value, it will never be $100/barrel again.

How do you suggest a nation like ours funds a budget that seeks to make a paradigm shift from being a "mono product" economy to a varied economy?
In austere times, what do/did leading nations (developed countries) do to foster a brighter future? I believe we both agree that massive investment is needed to develop what we had and have on ground but simply differ in how to get there.
