Compliments of the day! It happened that I was involved with a lady for a couple of years while an undergraduate. We were very much into each other and I was confident that she was the love of my life. However, we got to a crossroad when she was about graduating: I was on a year left on my course while she had just completed hers (a 4yr programme). The fact is that she was older, quite older than I was but it was never an issue. Consequently, we resolved to end the relationship because I obviously could not commit to her (not like she was going to let me anyway) and we were not big on doing the long distance thing. I call it the most amicable break-up that I know but what I leave out most times is that it was so difficult afterwards. We broke up but the feelings did not die as it were. I was pretty miserable during my last year in school, was not even thinking of starting anything with anyone until Youth Service came knocking. Alas, I got a text message that she was getting married and a kind of fever came down on me for the rest of that day. Here is someone I had been fighting to get over yet hung up on for more than a year. That was earlier this year and she has been married ever since. Recently, I found someone, a great lady, somewhat similar to my ex come to think about it and I was finally moving on until the ex started showing concern over me. We talked occasionally after the break up but I deleted her number when I decided it was not helping me but she still holds on to my numbers. She calls, I do not reciprocate and the most recent conversation we had was some days back when she said "I miss you". Like I heard wrong, she retorted again "you know I miss you, right?" I could not believe it and it got me partly scared, do not even recall whether I was able to muster a response and so I ask, what am I to do? What would you do in my shoes? |
iamdhebuck: Young gals have made me dating weary...5 galfriends in 4 years,I wish I could have a woman that's like 25 and above, but those ones won't look my way being 21.lol,I need a fully grown asss woman.call me a boy myself if u want,I want a woman.Hmm. I feel ur pain. When I was a year younger than u, my lady was 26yrs! |
rioemmanuel: those goin for d older ladies....will u marry themAs it is, I think I can and I know what it means too. However, in a couple of years time, I would definitely know. |
Til date, I haven't dated any lady younger than I am. I have a bias that "they" are usually not mature enough for me. My longest relationship was with a lady who was almost 6yrs older than I am. She was great - open-minded, loving, respectful, very INDEPENDENT, MATURE and EXPERIENCED. I can't overstate those 3 in bold text. They are importanto. I have only once even considered dating an agemate. |
tchidi: Make I understand this story....Erm, I admire how u're trying to reason it out but on the other hand, are u kinda interested in the act? I knw some people might be taking notes right now. My advice to guys is to "lock up shop" except the lady is truly worth it and u'd be glad having her as ur baby mama. Simple. |
Fayrouzz: There was this gal I liked so much, Chiamaka is her name. She was this kinda pompous gal so I needed a very good plan to get her attention, so me and my frnd(Mike) made a plan. Mike was waiting fr her wif ma aunts car along her street and I was jst in a shop sipping my la casera. Wen the gal comot frm hauz na so Mike move the car wit speed come splash water on the gal wifout stopping, na so me jst rush frm wie I dey cme remove ma cloth clean the gal body.. Dat was hw we started talking.. Tinz we do fr love.Wow! That's criminal mahn, gangsta! |
shakur07: D tin is a very hard decison to make in ds goddamned country oh ...awa mentality won't give room for such cos wah 99% of nigerians will say is dah d gal iz toooo cheap ..You are very correct. The fact is we tend to misconstrue such forthright and open-ended advances. However, I believe such makes life easier...dating anyway. I dig frank ladies that know what they want from the get go. |
Amefrica: Another one... There was this girl in my neighbourhood, I've been crushing hard on her, we lived in d same neighbourhood for good 9years. We never got to talk, I've calculated the time she used to go and buy fuel, so I would stand outside expecting her and if I eventually did, I'd be imagining her nu'dity and imagining my JT btw her legsAhh! Dt's bitter man. How come the 1st thng dt came to my mind was MUNGO PARK?! Ahh. Anyway, seems u had enjoyd the daydream for years already. |
Ok. Mine happened in my 2nd yr as an undergrad. There was dis pretty law babe dt I had sightd at an ATM outlet on campus: didn't get a chance to talk with her then cuz it was a long queue, a lot of "eyes" and she was with her frnds but I certainly got eye contact. Very pertinent in my ministry Consequently, I saw her 2 more times but she mysteriously vanished after I had employed divers waiting schemes (desperate me). On a certain Friday, prbly a month afta the 1st sighting, I saw her in a group of "black n whites", shadowed her to the campus car park b4 passing a compliment. Introduced myslf, stuttered a lot when I got to the I like u/crushin on u part, was nervous but didn't mind cuz I was so tired of missing chances that all she could do was laugh! I even told her that I was feverish but simply had to talk to her! Ended up getting her number same day, we didn't date but remain good frnds till date. I still mock my stupidity. |
icebeatz: Friend zonedOga, no be MTN family & friends now!! |
ugojamali: After watching too many nollywood love films, I ran infront of a hot chic's car. I've been lusting for her for a few weeks. She's a banker. And one morning I woke up, timed her work time and just ran infront of her car. Well she hit me, but literally I jumped on her bonnet and wasn't really hurt. Anyway I screamed my guts out that she skipped work and took me to her hospital and while she frantically tried to help, I said one sentence...you're beautiful...then I faked d world's baddest pass out!!!!Guy, u should go into directing and producing if u ask me seeing as u got a knack for theatrics. Pursue it. |

babyBB: dnt take it to heart pls but most men are like dat, dats there nature they easily fall #no offence# wen it comes to s**ual issuesWhen I hear people say things like this, I tend to take it with a pinch of salt or wholly discredit such! How can you know what most men think?? How many men have you personally been with?? *Talk about crowd mentality* |
Haha at the comments! I left the white sneaks in Camp, dropped the cap/belt/khaki trouser in the room at the LGA I served. Afterwards, I brought the rest back home (jacket, boot & crested vest). Haven't quite decided what to do but I fancy keeping them for as long as I can. Loved the jungle boots especially. Batch "C" 2012, Ini LGA, Akwa Ibom. Ini saaan! Iyah! Ayaya o! |
princecuite: I grew up an introvert n nw,i dn't even av a relationshp. Does it av anytin 2 do wit my childhood @ op?Unfortunately, more often than not, it does. The circumstances peculiar to an individual's upbringing say a lot about who the person turns out to be either positively or otherwise. I had a similar habit as a kid, used to love being on my own, still do today but I was never anti-social. The key to overcoming this lies in finding a companion that is different from you but who you have deep feelings for then learning from such (balancing your habits). I hope this is useful. |
dejikays: For adequate preparation for the test,u'll need dragnet GSE format,If u're interested in Dragnet test format, let me knowHey there. Please, I'd love a copy of the format. A friend would be writing the test this wknd. Thanks and God bless. Email add: emilegan@gmail.com. |
Die Schwarzgelben will emerge champions tonight. Full-time scoreline: BvB 3 - 2 FCB, with goals from Robert Lewandowski, Yakub "Kuba" Blaszczykowski and Marco Reus. Who is with me? |
