Over the weekend.
Man, you have a peculiar eye though. Your shots are so detailed. Big kudos. I am learning.

I just love the Lumia brand. Those devices have some cameras on them - from the very first entry phone of the series. Nokia did a great job as always.

Thanks a lot! Meanwhile, I find them so cute. grin

Don't like night shots with my phone, but I'll still put this here.
Yo, is that Total?? Reminds me a lot of their old Kofo Abayomi structure.

I was taken aback when I saw it. Revolting. cry

Anyway... Somewhere in the University of Ibadan.
WOW! But bros, you mean to tell us you lay flat on the road in a tertiary institution to take that photo in daytime? How long did it take to prepare and shoot?
Anyway, I'd completely understand if you had a digital camera and were on a photo-shoot mission on campus, else....It is somewhat hard to believe.

Was taking this shot when a security guy walks up to me with a menacing stare and goes, "why you taking our photos without permission?" And I'm like, "I'm actually interested in the building, not you." grin

*Seems I've developed a thing for architecture these days*
That was a very bold stand you took, staying in front like that in broad daylight. I give you kudos. Overcoming that fear is a mobile photographer's determinant.

Are some of the comments here put up by graduates seeking gainful employment?? Such poor grammar in copied quotations all over the thread. We are in seriously perilous times I tell you.

I long for the days of freecocoa and idowuogbo like kilode. Those two sure made this thread and entire nairaland forum ultra exciting: the Tom and Jerry squad I called them.
Thanks for the throwback misterh.

Dopeyomi:
Over The Hill Birthday
It’s birthday time again;
Another year has gone by.
You’re older than you used to be;
The thought could make you cry.
For getting older is not such fun,
When there’s hurting in your back,
And it’s agony if you have to run,
And a pleasure to lie in the sack.
Yes getting older is quite a bore,
But to not get old is worse.
So "Happy Birthday!" let’s shout once more,
Hooray for getting older!
Happy Birthday and many more.
And it's another 364 days gone by now. Countdown to our birth anniversary. This shall be our best year yet. Did I hear an Amen? AMEN!

Let the thanksgivings begin.

Free fuel for 1 year, free breakfast and other unrealizable crap yet it generated frontpage and numerable likes. It either means people didn't read the post or they lack depth of understanding.

Well it would be bad of me to spoil your dreams in an already messed up country and economy.

Sleep more and sweet dreams!
It would do you much good in future to fully read and comprehend posts/advice before jumping to cut throat and half-baked conclusions.

The OP simply said that consumers might opt for the manufacturer to provide such services as a year of free refueling, disclosing the price of garri in local market et al but that IVM could do something equally far-reaching on a small scale. Easy peasy.

What is 4billion naira to a man that can squander 67 billion dollars - its a groundnut fraction. I pity the choice of Nigerians who trusted their votes with this man in 2011; its a sin that must be repented come 2015. If after all these misruling GEJ still remain our president beyond 2015 then God is obviously angry with Nigeria - Jonah is our nemesis but the question is for how long?
Today, your words stand clear and proved. Kudos to you.

You gotta love the Westerners....look at how he summed up the development and even dropped facts in just a paragraph. My brothers and sisters here would only go on ranting epistle by epistle drawing up undocumented points whilst being moved by emotions and biases. We really need to learn objectivity, rational thinking as related to framing arguments and needed ethics in this part of the world. Talk is cheap.

It's not a shame, it's not hypocritical and it's not slavery either.

Ciara or some American musician made a song about terrorism and Boko-Haram, how may Nigerian/African artist has done that.

Attacks in Nigeria aren't documented well in Nigeria, the Nigerian government and people alone don't do anything about it. So who's the hypocrite.

Those criticizing Facebook, didn't celebs and powerful people from different countries show support for Nigeria, how many of you in this thread showed support? How did you show support?

Facebook is largely private so mark Zuckerberg and other shareholders can do whatever they like.
Thank you and may God bless you. Completely succinct comment.

it is very feasible cos our brain has even worked up to 6% of its capability. Just imagine it being 20% efficient.....
And where exactly is it written that we haven't accessed more than 6% of our brain capacity?? The science based theory is that we actually do not task more than 10% of our neural matter at a particular point in time; even that postulate is up for further debate.

A few points of correction: Nigerian Airspace Management Agency is abbreviated NAMA and the abbreviation for Nigerian Meteorological Agency is NiMet. Thank you.
In addition, I believe the Honourable Minister for Transportation gets to oversee the operations of Federal Road Maintenance Agency, FERMA and other departments/agencies related to Road Transport. Even the Air Transport operators lie in wait....National Aviation Handling Company, NAHCO et cetera.

Lastly: "the wild", kinda looks like the jungle where Tarzan grew up. However, this was at the border between Areas 2 and 3 in Garki, Abuja. For a moment or two, I saw myself taking a lunge off the rails, grabbing a tree branch and doing the Tarzan stride/scream!

Thrilling! Y'all have been uploading some sumptuous shots up in here. Great work.

Lemme drop a few "babies" of mine too. They are mostly random shots, all with individual stories surrounding them and they were all taken with my Nokia C5 (I love that phone!)

First up: a view of the fleet on the tarmac at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Int'l Airport, Abuja. I love those seemingly random shots.
Second: no filters yet it seems to have some hue effects caused by some radiation protective coating on the window. It was taken along the Umaru Musa Yar'Adua Expressway, Abuja. Gotta love the sunrise and sunset shots.

PoliticsRe: Why It Is Illogical To Claim That 'PDP' Destroyed Nigeria For Sixteen Years by yesboss20(m): 7:48pm On Nov 09, 2015
It is a pretty basic argument, eschewing all inanities and subjections in my opinion. The inference lies on the following questions: "isn't a politician subject to the dictates and ideologies of the political platform he/she represents?" and "is the party not responsible for whatsoever type of leaders it puts to the people?" That ought to be the thought-bane of our collective idée reçue.

Going by the foregoing, one could say that a man who fails at/refuses to be responsible for putting his house in order for almost two decades has FAILED. Nothing more.

Now, would we, as the people of Nigeria, refuse to try another platform because a few or many bad eggs have shape-shifted into the budding vista we seek? Of course not. The bedrock of the All Progressive Congress remains the same from the merger between the defunct ACN and CPC and the people have resolved to try President Muhammadu Buhari. He is the face we need right now, the kind of team we hoped to have at the helm of affairs with the esteemed Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as his Vice.

Change we need, and Change we shall see. Positive change at that. I believe. Do you?!

Some Senators are so dumb that you wonder how they got their SSCE. How can you say you want to screen a person that has been screened by millions of Nigerians and has been deemed fit and qualified to preside over them? Can we now say we can equate PDP and Dumbness? Na wa oo! One thing am sure of is that no one of them can dare PMB.
I so love your comment. Sharp! These lawmakers can be really hilarious in their speeches.

Hello there. I would like to know your experience with the Nexus 4. Has it been all good or pretty unsavoury??
PhonesRe: Have You Ever Used A Phone With A Non Removable Battery? by yesboss20(m): 12:21pm On Sep 11, 2015
I gotta say: my nexus 4 non-removable battery seemed like a great idea 7months ago but today, it is the most annoying thing about the phone. Notwithstanding, the battery life was not among the best in the market at the time of production but I still went ahead and got myself the phone all because of the its specifications.

Just be sure to get a phone from a manufacturer with the right specifications that suit your needs and the battery rating should not be lower than say 3000mAh. Cheers.

@Fraih, the snake was not "TRAINED"...it was only acting on impulse to survive.

But we Africans can be so barbaric o! Do you know that there are some species of snakes that are harmless? Yet when we see snakes no matter the specie, what comes to our minds is POISON and DEATH! huh huh
Err, if only one could get to ask the snakes in the case of eventuality. Imagine seeing one in the middle of the night when power is down. What would you do??
