Actually could be nice and stressfree depeneding on where you stay, How close it is to your work place. There are places you can not live in Lag if you work on the Island. Stress may just kill the person. Lagos is very stress full oh. I used t think it was normal to stay in traffic for 3-4hours till I lived in Yola for about 2months and then Ibadan. But we are used to The hustle and Bustle . U ll get used to it. I almost ran back to IB afterr NYSC, It took me some month to blend back into the Lagos SYstem |
Mintayo: i just hope i will love the state, everyone runs like something is chasing them, the traffic, the fear of 419 esp this festive period, the exhorbitant tee-fare,buying a tuber of yam@ a price of three in Ibadan and so on,so scary.MInt I served in Ibadan And I ve lived in Lag my whole life prior to that. And I feel what you are feeling. idnoble135: Rotf, I'm just hearing this.what's your temperament?ID be nice noow |

Hi Family, This poem was on our bible study pamphlet. The topic of the study was The Power of silence and I want to share. Lord how we long to hear your voice A quiet heart, should be our choice Our rest is you, to find our way Never to doubt, your presence to stay Lessons we learn, your ways, your teaching Learning to lean, to listen, ever reaching Never to doubt, faith alone we"ll reach out Learn to be still no need to shout By our heart we listen, we dare not carry Our prayer is most precious, in our walk of faith Jesus our Lord make no mistake Lord, we're never alone you're always near Teach us, be slow to speak but quick to hear We'll listen to you praying your name Father, through Son, one and the same With each dawning, as with evening tide The power of silence, ever working, in us abide AMEN Silence is not a weakness may a times a strength. Isaiah 30:15 (.....in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength) Remain blessed |
Hi every body. good morning |
D op of this thread advised we practice from either shl or asessment day.co.uk . I noticed Asessment day gives you the result and shows you the ones you got right or wrong and even has corrections with tips to answer d question wch shl does not have .they are different question s but same format and I believe d asessment day site would help us know aw we are expected to answer those verbal questions. U can check page 1 again 2 confirm d asessment day website |

one more thing . I love GTBank architectural designs, very very nice. Each branch has a unique design. |
GTB Gtconnect is very nice. Those call center agents@ GTconnect are good @ what they do. And I visited alaba international branch 2weeks ago and It wz a WOW experience. But some of those customer care personell in some of their branches can frustrate u. But apart from queues @ ATMs nd some rude staff Its a good bank |
Nestle. My neighbor works there, he had a baby recently and told me they gave him 'paternity leave'. His first daugher had hearing problems and needed to get hearing aids, it seemed things like d@ are nt part of the health scheme. He wrote a letter a management nd dey paid half d costs of d aids(those things are quite expensive). Also himself nd dependants get free health care frm one of d best private hospitals in my area, dey have acess to loans. Lets not even talk about their meals/airconditioned staff bus. I wz reading their magazine mid dle of d year and Isaw that they now have a breastfeeding room @ their ilupeju office where nursing mothers can feed their infants during work hours. All the nestle workers I know have never complained about the company |
@chubbie LOL @ ' to put kids on stronger footing' . about ur friend I really dunno wat 2 say abt it coz their case is a little complex. God grant them wisdom. |

zeuskyrocky: My name is Jude and i am from Anambra state.Am the first Son in the family of 5 siblings. I studied Mechanical Engineering at University of Nigeria,Nsukka were i graduated since 2008 and i have completed my NYSC. After my NYSC,i searched for a job but no one is coming forth. When i think about my future it brings a biger shock to me because i believe i have a long way to go in life. I lost my lovely Dad the same year i graduated and since then i have been struggling hard to make ends meet. The whole of my family are looking upto me in terms of financial support since am now a graduate but i always have non to help myself let alone to my family. I have no person to help me get a job but always look up to God. please my dear brothers and sisters am pleading in the name of God to help me out in which ever way you can to bring back a smile to me and my family. I realy need a job. I am presently in Lagos looking for anything to do but got non. To feed now is a problem. Please if anybody has anything of help am ever ready to embrace it. Please do not look at me as a begger but as you brother in need. Thanks and God bless us. AmenBrother, I believe You can teach physics, you can do that to keep body and soul together while searching for a better job. Since you served in 2008 , age may not allow you to apply for trainee jobs around. If you have experience maybe during IT or NYSC relevant to mech engr. You can always check the jobs section. U may just see some thing that suits you. seriously get something doing even if it teaching ![]() It is well bro |
