I think we are taking undue advantage of ourselves in this country is it that the Cost price is now higher or they are just increasing anyhow.

Let the gas dealers tell us the true story.

Last I knew she was married to Jaiye Aboderin who Died( she had 2 girls for him) and then married Emeka Nzeribe briefly and she's now with Daniel Ademinokan (Doris Simons ex hubby) So which man did she divorce after having a baby for him?

I am not for or against intertribal marriages but you guys should try to post stuffs that are true about people.

Is she not educated in Nigerian terms? lool

what I think you should have said is that having a degree doesn't mean you are enlightened/educated .we place too much emphasis on certificate in naija.

At least she's a graduate now, people will now understand that you can be a graduate and be a staunch illiterate.

Mr wonukwuru not everybody has the zeal or the capacity to study, you should have seen this in your wife. You really don't need to send her to further her education, she already has a degree cert at least, find ways of polishing her to your standard, help her to be able to read and write properly, If you need to buy queen primer and brighter grammar (if it still exists) please do.

Just curious would you have sent her away already if you didn't do court marriage ?(as implied in the last statement of your opening post)

From personal experience, I can tell you for sure that the driver had a brief moment of sleep. I know this because it appears that the impact stopped the vehicle rather than the driver slamming on the breaks when it was too late. They probably ran into a flat bed with no safety barrier behind it; hence the hood and a larger part of the vehicle ended up beneath the truck. I had a similar accident a few months back when I was heading home from work. I slept off and as God will have it, the flat bed I hit had a safety barrier so I did not end up under it. Guys!! always have plenty of rest before going behind the wheels.

I guess this is what happened.

I have been trying to think how the vehicle will run into another moving vehicle in front just like that

Most likely on high speed too

Some nairalanders are hypocrites and I believe some people do not reason logically.

Its the same people that blamed Buhari for tomato scarcity last year that can't see any thing good in the basket the OP bought for 1,500.

When tomatoes was expensive the way they were shouting Buharis name, I had to wonder if he was the cause of scarcity.

I never attributed the scarcity to Buhari, neither will I say buhari is the cause of the surplus we have now because the dynamics are different, people closed their eyes to the fact that there was a tomato disease last year, if you can blame buhari when it was expensive because of a reason beyond anyone's control then you should praise him now its surplus which I know should be normal.

Nigeria won't move forward until we stop seeing things via the lens of political affiliations, religious and ethnic sentiments.

Can't you all just try to be logical for once?

Health / Re: Paramedics: The Missing Link In The Nigerian Health Sector by yetseyi(f): 10:35am On Jan 02, 2017
The Nigerian factor and the battle for supremacy between all the health workers will be an issue.

It will be a miracle if the Nigerian health care system can actually work in synergy but with all these bickering and "I own the patient you don't ". accusations and counter accusations by each of the health workers It may not last. Before you know what's happening it now be doctors vs paramedics, nurses vs paramedics ,pharmacists vs paramedics.

Nigerian health care system is in shambles already.

If all of them can put their ego aside and actually do their job it will work.

It seems only Lagos has an emergency medical system, and a lot of lives will be saved in emergency situations if this is replicated all over Nigeria.

The Lagos system also needs more coverage and improvement I think. One should be able to call if someone has an emergency situation at home and the ambulance will come over, but it seems it's only for road accidents.

tartarus:
As usual nairaland boys will still find a way to blame a female and justify the males actions. Most Nigerian male youths were not brought up well, at all! Parents need to train up their male kids in the same way they train female kids. We just have ego inflated males walking about with the notion that a female must do everything to please them and not provoke them. sad

Reading some comments makes me hope that Nairalanders are not everyday people. That man almost killed her.

Parents need to train the boychild very well. I won't be surprised if that's how the man beats up his female siblings when younger.
Even if there was a valid reason, let's even say she was sleeping around is this the best.

For a man to accuse his wife of sleeping with his own brother in the presence of his parents and also beating her in the presence of the same parents shows a lot about their value system.

He doesn't even regard his parents, is it someone that can't respect his parents that will see something wrong with beating a lady?

A man that can suspect his brother is sleeping with his wife in their hometown can accuse her of anything.

I don't support any form of violence BUT
He needs to be beaten thoroughly to a level of hospitalization. You dare not do this to some ladies, their family will come for your head.

Does it make any difference, its still an oku ofo and like you said her mum is still alive, Yoruba's don't do this now, infact I dont think I have not seen a poster less than age 45-50 of a yoruba person anyway things are changing.

Nairalanders,
The lady has decided to leave the house, saying that she can't stand the sight of the mistress and her husband together in the house with the her family members and all the nonsense they will be doing just to slight her.

She went to her family members staying with her and seriously begged them not to cause any trouble that she has decided to leave for good, and see what becomes of the husband and her mistress.

She moved out of the house today.

Guys do you thing she has done the right thing?
Kindly react please, as I felt very bad. Is life really like this?

Well life can be like that .

I guess for her sanity and safety (I don't trust the mistress and her family, some people do go to extreme levels to chase the wifey) its better for now.

This is the first time I am seeing an Obituary poster of a young person from Yorubaland, This kind of death is an oku ofo and its not celebrated and are mostly buried silently especially if the parents are still living, posters are not even printed for young deaths normally.

The designer even designed it colorfully.

Very surprised.

Considering the fact that witches exist and jazz is real and 3 random prophets told you the same thing.

You will have to make us of the scriptures

"Watch and pray"
"Be gentle as a dove and wise as a serpent"

I still wonder why nairalanders think there's nothing like witchcraft, voodoo ,jazz etc. By the way evil people no longer have black teeth, long nails or looking haggard, even babalawos are getting sofisticated day by day a lot f them hardly stay in haggard shrines. Even in the house of God they are there so what's all the hullabo about. These things are real, its just that as children of God they have no power over usbecause what we carry is greater.

Nairalanders are very unrealistic .

Whatever you do OP do not mention it to your hubby, it doesn't matter If its true or not, besides are you not a Christian yourself you can know whatever it is you want to know about a person, you only need to ask.

You want who someone is in the spirit or physical realm? ask and it shall be revealed to you.You are sure of whatever revelation you get personally, whatever anyone tells you should just be a confirmation. God knows all truth and he won't hide it from you, knowing who a person is and what a person truly represents is not too big for it to be revealed to you naah. If only we Christians can make use of the power we have.
