We all know here that the World + mentioned is not the literal meaning nooow. And I just noticed that some people would not express their opinion without a twinge of polite insult. When we are told love not the world nor the things of this word , its that meaning I was referring to.

oohkay, It seems we forget that there are people who come to seek solace in the church. They run to church thinking they would meet some tin different but behold it is the world that is in the church.

One thing I ve realized is the truth will remain the truth.

I read some posts on now and I am actually feeling bad. Lets start with the music. How many of the music we listen to in churches are divinely inspired, you see worldly beats with edited lyrics containing something that looks like its scriptural. If the music itself is not spiritual, why wont you dance worldly dance in the church.

Now to the dances, like I said in my earlier post, most(if not all) dances we do nowadays in churches are provocative. In worship glory should be given to God. God should have all the attention at that time. I saw comments that said why would a man be looking @ someones dance steps. Honestly speaking if a woman is shaking her bum in front of you, you as a man need xtraordinary grace not to look, stare and fix your eyes on it.
I m against these dances for 2 major reasons

1. The origin of those dances are demonic ( I m entitled to my opinion ooo)

2. They distract men in church: A man that is supposed to be blessed will be looking @ bum bum and miss his blessing. A woman would want to pride in the fact that she can dance and then continue shaking the thing so that people would observe her more. (pride). Both the dancer distracting the man and the observer (man) have missed out. And since we know that you dont need to even sleep with a woman 2 commit adultery, Just a lustful glanve is enough to be as goood as doing the deed. All of which would have been avoided if the women did not dance the dance.
Also at times it could hinder the flow of the spirit of God.

I happen to listen 2 a discussion btwn 2 xtian brodas and 1 said the reason he did not continue attending a church was the way their ushers dressed. He said the trousers is so tight that u can hardly concentrate on watever pastor is saying.

I can go on and on but I feel we are begining to take the grace of God for granted as christains.

What shall we say then shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid

I don t think dancing all these dances in church is good because almost every form of dance brings the attention of men to the hips of the ladies Would we say that God is being glorified in that case where the object of attention becomes the ladies hips and boobs whining and shaking to every step of dance they make. Have we ever wondered why some churches uses all instruments except the drums( drumset, gan gan and all forms of local drum)? The fact is any dance that distract peoples attention from the God you are supposed to be giving Glory to is not a Godly dance. If all these traditional women start them dance like this even my eyes will be on the shaking bum not to talk of a man that will look and his mind will begin to think what he ordinarily would not have thought about.

I read one Keneth hagins book and he gave an example of a woman that danced in the spirit while the sermon was on and if some one did not look in her direction you would not know she was dancing and she danced off about 2-3 inches of the sole of her shoe without making any noise and without distracting any one.

We had thanks giving in church today and I was pissed off when we were dancing and an usher at the front said oya youths azonto( meaning we shd dance azonto.

I really dont think the issue is if we should dance azonto in churches. It is if we should dance those dances at all either in the church or not. Why should a christain dance azonto in the first place?

Our traditional dances also do not help matters either, a Niger delta woman be clapping abo abo abo,and the bum will be shaking in response, A Yoruba also will dance and shake bum, infact there is hardly any traditional dance by female in which shaking of bum is not involved and then all attention is on the shaking bumbum not on God.

A lot of things have been introduced to the church, different forms of dances, even ballet dance that they would not wear legging under the very free skirt and by the time they whirl around you would almost be seeing undies and also back up singers dancing azonto on the alter and also strange choreography that doesnt look christain, It may look very normal but its abnormal. Gone are the days when people are touched and give their lives to christ during choir ministration. They have even started drumming to hymns to make them danceable just to shake body haba.

I think its high time we just sing only hymns jare
Those that worship him must do so in spirit and in truth and you can not worship In spirit with all these dances
