I would also start to document my progress on my LinkedIn profile from henceforth, I should have started this a long time ago but we mueve sha.

Download sololearn app and wildlearner app. Those two resources will help you to crack JS. I have using this two great apps to learn and I practice what I learned on codepen.

Js is complex, that's why I started with JavaScript. I will later go to HTML and CSS. Later, I will revisit Js before I start building project.

I am also learning, and I am not perfect. But People who learnt with me go thru very rigorous and tough way to learn. But when they do, i know at least 8 of them who got jobs. I am also working with a cameroonian in my startup, and i know what he told me this evening... I dont give miniature or starter projects. I give hard projects and my specifications can be very tasking (You might need to write some Algorithms on your own). I do not know if you up for something like this. I did not learn backend or React native or React JS (or Flutter as i am currently learning) with Clever Programmer or PapaFAM or so (but i watched some of his tutorials (i mean PAPAFAM) and gave myself a totally different project), everything I learnt on my own, so you also need to add patience and some other form of Logic as well as hardwork to your CV as well when learning with me. Those are things you would meet in office environment, only difference is, we are both learning.

I just could not read or study, going to the lab was a major turn off for me. Like it was mad ..

I just said this is not for me, I will manage and complete it, though very frustrating expecially seeing your life being ruined by parent.

I forgave him in 2012, because as I grew older I realized he wanted the best for me but in a wrong way.

So basically in the midst of suicidal thought, I started attending a Church when my life was done with. Not a deliverance ministry but a word-activated ministry where my mind was opened. My pastor said one thing that I will never forget ,” if you fail, take responsibility. Don’t blame people for your failure , otherwise you will always be miserable”

That was the quote that change my life forever. I felt the Pastor was just talking to me. I needed to make moves, and because of my moral upbringing , fraud or yahoo was not an option for me.

So I started life again , learned web design , learned graphics , learned small bit of programming before running away �..

Started blogging , started earning , then moved to e-commerce and all that..

It’s been a long journey and I won’t lie that it was easy. There were ups and down , but you know what? There is no witch that can stop a determined person.

At the end of the day, it’s not your certificate that makes you less. Nobody can actually make you inferior without your permission.

It’s a mindset I had from 100L and it’s over 10 years after school; I am wealthier than most of my lecturers and classmates who had better grades.

At times , Failure brings out the beast in you.

That you had a 3rd class means you are not good in that area, in other areas of life , you will be amazed at your potentials. Even a first class will be an understatement.

I can’t imagine living on 250k a month salary with no freedom.

I have been at home enjoying my life since Dec 23, with zero financial pressure.. Till I get back to work in 2 weeks time.

The problem with your notepad++ is the fact that you didn't save the file as HTML. It shows "new 1" instead of "new 1.html" so notepad doesn't know how to run it hence why it is asking you which program runs that file type

Hello Developers in the house.
I am aspiring to learning programming (Front End). I started with JavaScript first before delving into CSS/HTML.

I tried to download Studio Visual code to practice my JavaScript but I had issue downloading it so I went for note pad++

I encountered a problem when I intend to run a program I wrote down in my book.

The moment I click run button on the notepad++ editor, it brings out this alert message (I have attached the pictures below).

I didn't do the HTML DECLARATION before writing my JS code.

Developers in the house, am I missing something pls?

I intend to start with Front end so I picked JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

I started with JS, I have been learning using online App and it has been fun.
I realized I needed code Editor to start practicing some JS code I have written down until I ran against a hard brick.

I have tried downloading free VISUAL Studio Code but I couldn't download it so I downloaded NOTE PAD++.

When I ran my first JavaScript code on it by clicking on the run button, it always bring out this box.

I didn't do any HTML declaration before typing my JS CODE.
