So would you advise me to sacrifice one year for work or just accept my admission and go to school.
Bro, go to School and concentrate fully on your studies. Avoid any form of distractions. I don't buy into idea of you getting a bike and giving it out to someone to ride for you; most hired riders are not always faithful. If you want to run a business in School, let it be buying and selling of products that students want. Don't let it be something that takes away 70% of your study time. You can start thinking and praying concerning the kind of business you want to run in School. After you have come up with an idea which God has put in your heart, then approach your Dad and tell him about your mission., He should be able to support you if you state reasons for running business in School. One of the reasons should be you don't want to utterly depend on him for stipends and this will also sharpen your business acumen should in case you choose a career in business in the nearest future. One thing I see in you is being anxious of tomorrow and most importantly what your Dad said. If you are a Christian, pray to God to direct your path cos he is the only one who can teach you how to make profit. If you are not a born again Christian, you can give your life to Jesus and watch how He will help you in the journey of your life. If you have question about how to give ur life to Him, just mention me and I will respond. If you need to be prayed along with so that you can know the kind of business you are to do, let me know. The Lord will never hide things from His children, He will definitely reveal it to us. Remember the advise; go to School. Don't forfeit the admission God has given you. Stay blessed. |

josielewa:How were you able to feed yourself for three years without pay?. How far is the place where you are learning this to your house and how do you sort out the transportation issues? How do you source for Money to start yours by next year? If you have provided these answers in your post, it will be more inspiring. From all indications, it is obvious there was help coming from a particular place which you have failed to mention. Many people are inspired by this your post, but do well to answer all my questions above. I strongly believe every bank has an IT Department. This is a clear evidence of porosity in the banks cyber security. I remember vividly if I make any transaction on a platform called paxful where I trade Bitcoin, the moment transaction is done, your coin is in escrow and you get instant mail about ongoing transaction; a well detailed info will be sent to you asking you if you are the one making the transaction. Banks should also employ this method for security check. If someone is using ATM, the case is different but if other means of withdrawal is used, serious scrutiny should be deployed to prevent this kind of story. All Nigeria banks should step up their games. |

unmask:We've heard the testimonies of many people being saved from their job hazards. Would God save a prostitute from the Hazards of her job after warning her severally? Don't you see that this very post is a warning by God to prostitutes and those planning in going into it? God loves mankind so dearly, that's why He's always teaching them how to live to survive. If they would accept His teachings; life would have been peaceful for them. God can solve financial crisis and will always continue to solve it for those who seek Him. Get rich- quick- syndrome and greed make some people to seek illegal means to get their daily bread. If Nigeria government does not legalize prostitution, then it is wrong to engage in it. May God help those who are in difficult situation and struggling to survive. We shouldn't hide under any predicament to do the wrong thing. |

What a world will find ourselves. People are now forming science as if spirituality is in Oblivion. The OP said " the money was soaked in mositure up to the point that the bale was dripping water; even the bag was also dripping water". People should read and read the content again especially the part that says ' the bag was dripping water'. Folks here are all saying AC, damp places, sulphuric acid chemical etc. When will people believe that spiritual controls the physical? |
Physic is not useless, Bro. That it didn't favour some people doesn't mean yours will be the same. Physic is basis for all engineering. In Nigeria, You'll find opportunities in solar industries, engineering services ( this is very broad!) I studied chemistry but work as an engineer today. If I were to go back to undergraduate for a science degree, I'd rather do physic ( but no regret)[/quo te] Can you elaborate this sir: 'you study chemistry and you work as an engineer' People will like to know about the journey and your wealth of experience. |
Good day NLers, please I need your take on this. I'm a student in one of Nigeria's prominent public universities. A girl decided to vie for admission in my school via the predigree programme but she had no accommodation. Because of the relationship between my parents and hers, I offered to take her in from January till now I offered a roof over her head. The first night she came, she slept on the floor and I wasn't okay with that, the following night, I told her she could have the bed, I vacated my bed and relegated myself to sleeping on the floor, we can't share same bed since she's neither my babe nor sister. And this sleeping routine has continued ever since then. The floor is my new bed I gave her my spare key, uncensored access to my kitchen and everything within my legal occupancy. Cut long story short, last week Tuesday she woke up, had her bath, ate then stepped out briefly, when she returned we were outta water. Tap water of course. She called my attention to it to which I remained calm. Meanwhile I hadn't eaten neither had I bathed. At noon, she came to me that she was hungry but couldn't cook due to unavailability of water, I then asked her if I am to fetch her water??!. She said she was gonn take food stuff to her friend's place (upstairs) to cook. I replied by asking how many of her friends had lacked water and brought food stuff to cook here??! She got angry and took some money and left That same Tuesday, I went to see Chelsea game, when I returned, I asked her if she cooked but she didn't dignify me with her attention talk more of a response. I thought it was rude but considered it as one of the many tantrums of ladies The following morning, she woke up, acted like I don't exist, couldn't greet... had her bathe and left. Returned, unlocked the door, walked in like I wasn't there, ate, left to her friend's place. On Thursday she repeated the routine, I called her back when she was going out, I asked her if she considered me as her father, brother or boyfriend that she'd wake up and start throwing attitudes... I made her understand that I am her benefactor. my door with strict instructions to the caretaker then moved to a friends |
Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. No one likes to stand the sight of arrogance not even God of all flesh. One thing I know about God is that; He is a long suffering God, gracious and compassionate, He does not repay us according to our transgressions. You just reached your breaking point thus you locked up her belongings. Remember, we are all emotional human beings but in your anger do not sin. You have a good heart and I see you are not being ruled by lust. I know you are a child of God; just ask yourself, what would Jesus do in this situation? Please, allow her to have access to her belongings pending the time she will sort out her accommodation problems. Thanks bro! |
