Leroy sane has had an impressive season with Manchester city in the 2016/2017 campaign with him scoring 6 goals and providing 16 assists for his club and despite his impressive season he was dropped by the German coach. The likes of muller, ozil hector…etc couldn’t save Germany. Can we say the coach was right to drop him or not?

As we wrap up the final stage of the group d that has Croatia, Nigeria, Iceland and Argentina. We take a closer look at the games played so far and the possibilities of each team qualifying to the round of 16, CROATIA Sitting comfortable at the top of the table with 6 points means they need little or no effort in qualifying to the next stage, however a big loss to Iceland might actually drop them to the second position which by chance might not be possible. NIGERIA A dramatic win against Iceland has actually raise their hope of qualification to the next round although the battle with Nigerians bitter rival Argentina has been on for a while which makes the game a 50/50 chance. My take: a draw from the match would just do. ICELAND It was impressive at the beginning against Argentina however their plan went sideways when Nigeria take on the Icelanders trashing them 2 nil which means a win against Croatia and a win against Argentina with 2 goal difference takes them to the next stage. ARGENTINA Sitting at the bottom of the table would have lost all hope of qualifying if Iceland had defeated Nigeria but with the timely intervention of Nigeria has raised the hope of qualifying in a must win match. Verdict With Croatia already through to the next stage it’s left to the teams of Nigeria, Iceland and Argentina to decide their fate. Below is how the table stand before the match by 19:00 WAT SOURCE: https://yinkajimoh..com/2018/06/possibilities-in-world-cup-final-group.html
