This market can behave irrational sometimes.......
COURTVILLE closed at 40k instead of 48k.

Guess people wants to know the buyout price first or something.

WAPCO closed @27.50........touched 28.65 before the pullback.......
Still have more rooms for growth in my layman's opinion anyway.

.......but you need to watch your entries......and be picking at dip.
Definition of 'Dip' is another thing.....that depends on many factors including timing, your investment objectives, pocket size, etc.
I get ogas here, maybe they should help us out..........but if they don't, you may do well to surf thru past pages.

A post here stopped me from buying more WAPCO when it dropped considerable to around N21 in June. I had the money and I had already planned to pour it all on WAPCO because I didn't own enough but due to sentiments here I ruled out WAPCO. The decision also ruled out the recently announced N1 interim dividend and the huge appreciation. I learned something from that though, focus on the Company and its long term goals, not the short term volatility of the stock.

One thing I've learnt not to do is Panicking in this biz.
I've lost considerable amount /profits cos I bowed to pressure and some baseless analysis.

For instance, see the time FBNH first had crisis and
there was massive offloading @6+ not long ago......
I moved against public opinion here and bought, was even shouting it here as they were mopping it ..........but ended up selling due to one comment here, since then, First bank has not returned to sub N7........it was painful.
So also some other examples that readily comes to mind, whereby some analyses were faulty.........Seplat
When it got to sub 300, Total @ sub 100, and many more.

Like I said, there are genuine analysis and there are faulty ones, may not be faulty to the analysts because he/she is seeing it from his own investment objective's perspective anyway.
Individuals just have to learn to sieve and stick to the strategy that works for him/her.

You see, even if the particular stock followed the analysis and is falling, you won't still see me panicking ......in as much as the fundamentals are still there.

That's why sometimes, my opinion always differ from the analysis here....
Mr. Market will always do what Mr. Market will do irrespective of some opinions here.............
Not totally saying they may not be right......but I use it to gauge some actions and inactions sometimes and follow my mind where convinced.

For instance, same NGX that someone is waiting for @10 still closed without shedding price and, with more bids than offers........just siting an instance....

Think the best bet is to have a strategy in place. Not neglecting time to time review of the Coy's stand.
If I'd panicked, would have sold at loss but just zeroed my mind to either average down if it bottoms or just leave it.

Auntie, I also saw that single bid, to me it looks like the person involved just want to use it to create FOMO effect. He started with 5.5mil bid, then later withdraw it and increase it to 5.8mil then boom to 8.5mil then finally 8.8mil but withdrew the bid 3minutes before the close of bidding window. Let the same person bring the bid at say #21 in this market session cuz that is cheaper than the earlier #22.50 that he wanted to buy I could be wrong but that bid is highly suspicious

You're very correct.
That was the order in which the person placed the bid in pre-market.
......but you could also be wrong, or could be right........ most times, insiders have privileged info and they sniff result/ corporate actions before anyone else.

As at now, bids far outweigh offers and someone somewhere is codedly buying @20 or below.........so if it's a strategy to buy cheaper, I think the person has successfully achieve/been achieving his/her aims.

Whatever it is, good or bad, we dey observe them.....
