On WEMA... I think there's no confusion though.
Like I said before;
It will be best for a prospective investor to wait on the sideline and seek to align post the conclusion of both exercise to better tap into VALUE!
Your entry peg though will be KEY.
We already have a guide.
Selah
Thanks sir.
Think I'm also on right track to advice the Oga talking about penny stock to wait and allow them conclude on their upandan first.
Appreciate your best wishes sir.

WEMA BANK
Seems like too much grammar dey worry this bank. smiley

1. There'll be reconstruction of shares in ratio 3:1 .......i.e one share for every 3 held.
If you have 60,000 units, it'll become 20,000 after reconstruction. Think they called this "reliquishing shares by shareholders.

2. The 2/3 reliquished will be repurchased in form of right issues........

3. Market Maker has been appointed to repurchase reliquished shares.........

We will understand the grammar much better as time goes on........
We may likely witness some manipulations here in coming days....

Thank you my brother. I appreciate. On the Courtville delisting, what is your speculative delisting price you envisaged?

When I surfed through internet looking for it’s fair price, I came across 2 American valuation sites with one saying it’s fair price is 58k and the other put it at 179k. When I examined their balance sheet, it book value was 102k. Though, there free cash flow per share as at third quarter was not too strong enough to match the least price mentioned above.
I asked similar question on this from CP, see the posts below:
You may check pg 6495 of this thread to get more understanding of the Q/A.

the latest report is not enough to push d price to d destination, 2nd half of the year data needed. if they keep the company on nse........ price is likely to rise to N1.1 but if they announce the buyout price soon i expect half of the 1.1 or close to embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed

Good day house,
Can anyone advise on any of the two penny stocks to pick among the following
1. Academy
2. Transcorp
3. UPDC
4. Courtville
5. LearnAfrica
6. AbbeyBuilding
7. UPL
8. Fidson
9. WemaBank
10. Prestige Assurance
Thanks in anticipation of your advise
I'll go in this order:
Learn Africa, Fidson (though Fidson is not a penny stock again), Courtville, Transcorp.......and maybe UPDC.

** Academy and UPL : Very illiquid.
** Abbey Building: Not very familiar with this. Also illiquid.
** Prestige: Trades in range.
** Wemabank: Wema is good BUT you have to wait till the issue of reconstruction or whatever is sorted out first.

*** REMEMBER: This is strictly my opinion.
*** ALSO NOTE: That you have to time your entry right. Try to pick at bargain prices.
*** ALSO REMEMBER: That Courtville is delisting, you can start picking in tranches. They are yet to announce the buy-out price........once announced and is fair getting cheaper may be a bit difficult by then.

When is the best time to buy dividend shares.
How one get previous dividend records.
Thanks in anticipation.
In my opinion, I think mid February to March should be the best time to buy.

**Pls note this**
- My opinion is based on past few years observations.
- Each year may come with its own different direction.
- You'll have to create time to do serious monitoring to see the direction of Mr. Market and be able to know when stocks offers bargain and are good for picks.
- Picking may depend on your investment objectives and pocket too .......you can be picking in tranches cos no one can time Mr. Market.

- If I remember any other thing, I go update am. smiley
- Remember this is purely my opinion

I heard your business must be registered to win. How true is this?
Yes.

The grant doesn't favour the small small businesses in my opinion.
Quite some requirements that are not upcoming biz owner friendly. Looks more like grant for the big, long established biz.
Also looks like grant for who knows who.......not sure the selection is based on fairness.

There should be a transparent process whereby site visit to small businesses can be done to ascertain and confirm that it's genuine, without necessarily going thru some bottlenecks.

This was long highlighted and attended to.
The article above should address all your concerns and much more!

And yes, unless MTN decides otherwise, I don't think there'll be an extension to the offer period.
Think the offer is already oversubscribed.
The offer appear to have gathered much momentum, particularly in the South-East and Northern parts of the country.
MTN were well prepared for it with enough 'goodwill' to get folks in. There was even an announcement that the company will commence construction work on the terribly bad Enugu-Onitsha express way as part of the coys CSR initiative.
Thks boss.
Should be an oversight since I'm not picking the IPO, so, not much attention paid to it.

The aspect that got me a bit somehow was the momentum gathering aspect. It was over-publicized with lots of noise everywhere self.

Thank you for your reply, most grateful.
Try and read/understand the terms and conditions well before buying anyway.

** You must be ready to hold for at least one year before you can sell and that's the only condition that can qualify you for the bonus of 1 for every 20 purchased**
** Must be picked in multiple of 20s**

Had to explain to someone who wants to buy with the intention of selling pretty soon......so I thought, let me put the reminder here too.

Consider your options very well before going for it.
If you're an investor, watching and picking on the floor will be more like it for me...........this is an update to my earlier post.

yMcy56:
In my opinion, I think FBNH is a Hold.

As it is now:
** FBNH has large free float with no major control...
** Four major players are battling for the control of FBNH's ship....Otudeko, Adenuga, Otedola and Hassan-Odukale....
** Three major players now owns over 5% shares.......Otedola (5.07%), Otudeko (5.32%), Odukale (5.36%) and Adenuga (over 5% but not sure if this is true because when updated last, it wasn't up to 1%)...
** So far, higher percentages are going into the hands of these billionaires (and many more unmentioned billionaires with less that 1%)..........this is in turn reducing the number of shares available to the public....
** All indications are pointing to more accumulation of shares by the major players to outdo one another in coming days......
** FBNH recently sold her stake in Airtel Nigeria at a premium, amounting to extra cash for the group.....
** If the rumour that Otedola is presently controlling or will be controlling the larger shares is true, then investors are somehow optimistic that FBN will perform so well under his leadership..........considering his past achievements in FO & Geregu plant.....
** These guys are enjoying the backing of the powers-that-be in the background.......
** We may witness more share acquisition in days to come.......
** More drama may likely unfold......
** Just stay tuned..... grin
FBNH: Oct 24, 2021 post.

Otedola leading as expected......with total of 7.53%..,.....so far..........
Let's see if other "Contestants" will also up their game....... cheesy
