To say buhari stole the difference from us, u hv to prove the difference went directly to him instead of d producers/importers who increased prices to match d rising cost of production/importation as a result of govt policies.

Zceesneh:
Apparently am a chelsea fan but am disappointed with Manchester united with all the money they spent when the transfer window was open, after spending half a billion they are even worst, i think van gaal didn't spend the money well, he spent it on inexperience players like depay and martial, he should have gone for benzema and bale, he should have allowed de gea to complete his move to real madrid because goalkeepers doesn't score goals, van gaal was confused with such a huge amount of money given to him, he has won everything so no trophy is lacking in his house, man.u should sack him and appoint a manager that is hungry for success.
benzema and bale don't want to leave Madrid. Benzema even mocked arsenal for thinking he will leave Madrid and man u had being pursuin bale since his tottenham days and he dosent want to leave Madrid as well.

He is a tribal bigot.
haba babe, try and have a mind of your own and use it rationally: the south east has jus 5 states and got 11 slots while the north which has 19 states from north west, north east and north central has 21.
doin this maths gives the south east an average of 2.2 and the north has 1.1
any reasonable comparative analysis should be based on this figures

I hate to say this but despite the south east and south being more enlightened than the north, the democratic culture is pathetic. When elections come around, what u hv is gangs terrorizing their people and blatantly rigging elections so badly u wonder why they even bother to conduct elections in the first place. Very sad

all of you supporting enyeama should go to office tomorrow and attempt to question your oga's authority in public. Of course u won't.
Enyeama should hv sat down, then gone to meet oliseh in his office later simple!
oliseh did d right thing cos he would hv lost face in front of the players

Politics / Re: Amaechi's Ministerial Nomination: Buhari Government Has Failed The Moral Test by yoji: 5:22pm On Oct 10, 2015
TonyeBarcanista:
Should Amaechi be cleared as minister of the federal republic of Nigeria? Just like the 8th Senate did for Saraki, Buhari's decision to nominate Amaechi was influenced by political consideration without regard for his integrity/antecedent.

Buhari Elevates Politics Over Principle:
While I recognise the prerogative of President Buhari to appoint men and women that he considers worthy enough to form his cabinet, I beg to ask whether the President was in a trance when he pledged to appoint only people of credible character when elected. His recent nomination of messrs Rotimi Amaechi and Raji Fashola betrays his pre-electoral position on appointing "only" credible characters into his administration. Though Amaechi and Fashola are yet to be charged before a court nor convicted, morality demands that they be allowed to FIRST clear all allegations against them either through being certified 'Innocent' by the investigators or through the courts(if they are indeed innocent) before given new political responsibilities. Buhari's nomination of these men (and others) despite the allegations against them is a testament that he upholds politics over principle.

Who Is The 8th Senate Trying To Impress?
I burst into laughter when Senate spokesman Otunba Dino Malaye was reading out conditions for screening. I laughed more when he mentioned 'Asset Declaration' and 'thorough scrutiny'. What does the 8th Senate want to do with the asset declaration of ministerian nominees when they (senators) are yet to publicly declare there own asset before the public? Are they not the same people that are led by a man that is currently undergoing criminal trial before the Code of Conduct Tribunal for declaring false asset before CCB? What thorough scrutiny will the 8th Senate subject the ministerial nominees to when only two weeks ago they passed vote of confidence on a man that is undergoing criminal trial? What question will SP Saraki ask would-be ministers? What moral legitimacy does the 8th Senate have to reject a nominee on account of alleged corruption when only recently they passed vote of confidence on their President that is an alleged criminal? Who are they trying to impress?

Kudos To Senator Sekibo But...:
My position on Amaechi is very clear, he's morally unfit to represent Rivers state in the Federal Executive Council until he is cleared of all allegations against him. I sincerely commend my very own senator, George Sekibo for submitting petitions to the Senate on behalf of the ever loving people of Rivers state. But I have to admit that I don't see the petition scaling through for two reasons; One, the President is well aware of these allegations but he has shown that he doesn't care; Two, the 8th Senate is led by an alleged corrupt official that is presently under trial before a tribunal. There is the burden of moral legitimacy hanging on their neck. However, Amaechi's confirmation or otherwise cannot invalidate the allegations against him.

Nigerians Must Decide Where They Stand:
Nigerians are a special set of people. The people that went on protest in solidarity of Tinubu when he was being tried before the CCT, are the same group that were mocking a certain group that were protesting and showing Solidarity for the alleged corrupt Bukola Saraki. The group of people that were insisting that Saraki should not be tried for corruption is the same group that is crying that Amaechi and co should not be cleared due to the corruption allegation on their neck. The group that was calling for the head of Princess Oduah when she spent N260million on TWO cars in 2013 is the same group that defended Fashola for spending N78million on personal website. The group that defended Oduah then is the same group that has been calling for Fashola's head. Are both groups not confused and contradicting themselves? Is it proper to support misconduct when it suits us and oppose same when it doesn't? It is time for us as a people to define what we want and what we stand for.

Finally, by nominating Rotimi Amaechi and other people of questionable characters to serve as ministers of his government, President Buhari has betrayed the public confidence that was reposed on him on March 28. Like his predecessors, he has shown that he is ever ready to 'suspend' his principles in order to reward political allies. Indeed, President Muhammadu Buhari belongs to some people, he doesn't belong to everybody.

May God Bless Us All
hypocrite. U were in d moon when GEJ nominated obanikoro despite allegations of rigging election hanging over his head BA? More interestingly ur wailing party gave him a pass during screening.

if buhari changed the ministers to the ones he wants to work with, then oliseh has the right to change his captain as well. Besides if enyema is as patriotic as he is being painted, he would still play even as a simple floor member. When terry was stripped of his captain ship, he still played on for a while

pls stop taking thrash and keep quiet if u don't have anything to say, this thread is not for hater but people who know football.I can saying it anywhere that matic is not better than Mikel and I have my fact.Pls go and watch PSG vs Chelsea champions league last year and tell how on earth is overhype matic is better than underrated mikel.A good football analyst will never compare moses and Mikel bcs they are not in d same class.Whether u like it or not Mikel is far ahead of moses when it comes to their Chelsea career.I don't see any reason why Mikel should not be in d starting line up of present Chelsea that have underperforming players like fabregas, ivanovic,Zouma,Cahil, hazard,Costa, terry and even matic.
you claim mikel is better than matic, yet matic was voted into the PFA team of the year last season. Pls note that when all the premiership footballers vote for their colleagues, its significant cos they play against each other week in week out. Are u saying if mikel replaced matic last season, he would have been in the team of the season??
interesting, if so why was he not in the team of the season before matic came to chelsea??
Against PSG, last season, chelsea as a team were no match for psg. Where was hazard too ?? If u want to pick games players have had before in the past, thats easy, Against juventus some time back, Vucinic, a small man out muscled Mikel off the ball and went on to score! I think that was 2 seasons ago
Also uisunderstood my,comparism of moses and mikel, i am not refering to ability on the pitch cos they play different positions, i was refering to desire to play. That was the comparism. Moses went on loan to liverpool and west ham in successive seasons in an attempt to secure first team football while mikel despite the coach making it clear he is not in his plans for first team football still remains at the club rooted to the bench. Thats the comparism. Besides mikel has won everything winnable at chelsea so why cant he jus move on??
imagine, against macabi when chelsea made plenty changes all over, mikel still didnt make it and he sits there still!!

delusion of the highest order on this thread. Mikel started a match as the deepest of the defensive midfielders and in 20mins or so there were 2 goals down already. in fact apart from the goals conceded, begovic had made enuff saves to be chelsea's best player all in the same first half Mikel was playing.
mourinho doesn't hate Mikel, its Mikel who hates his career. Look at how many clubs victor Moses has gone to on loan jus to secure first team football, Now that's a serious footballer. Your calling magic the weak link as if d spectacular goal he scored was cancelled, can Mikel try that??

Bein sports Analyst after the game, during there analysis could not remember his name and they laughed about it to my amazement my guess they saw the goal as common. Meanwhile this same set of analyst spent time analyzing and praising the stokecity goal keeper that conceded two goals. I guess if it where to be chelsea's loftus cheek that scored that goal they would have spent time talking about him because he his english. Let us Hail our own. #HailIheanacho
