Overblown jor. A simple red card with 3 game ban should do. It's not as if it was a career threatening bite.

I rather be bitten than suffer a career threatening tackle. The offence is over blown. 3 game ban is sufficient jor.

Man u won d league last season cos of weak opposition as evident by how poorly English teams did in d champions league. Even last season in their matches against title rivals, they were always dominated. The difference is that the opposition has woken up and hit the ground running from day 1 this season
Sports / Re: Is Victor Moses Overrated? by yoji: 8:36pm On Jan 05, 2014
Am back again cos i worry about our chances at the world cup. Most managers of big clubs rotated their squads heavily during the festive period so i was hoping Moses would get a chance to play and impress. But that was not the case. Rogers played sterling twice in a space of 3 days and even when Moses was ineligible to play against chelsea since they are his parent club, one would think others would b rested for Moses to start at home against hull. But it didn't happen. He was restricted the last 15mins where he was anonymous.
Now i just checked for Liverpool's FA cup match and was happy to see that he was in the starting line up but then discovered that he was voted the worst player on the pitch by readers and editors of GOAL.COM. obviously u wouldn't need a sooth sayer to tell you he was substituted in the match.

Sports / Re: Why Mata Should Leave Chelsea by yoji: 8:34am On Jan 05, 2014
If he remains, he won't even make Spain squad for the world cup. Del bosque is lookin for a reason to trim his squad of excess midfielders. If he knows what's good for him, he should force a transfer to united cos he'l go straight into the starting line up.
Sports / Re: Who Will Win A Fight Between A Boxer And A Wrestler. by yoji: 8:26am On Jan 05, 2014
In boxing, when one boxer holds onto the opponent, the ref will pull them apart and since this will not happen, all the wrestler will do is stay too close for any impactful punch.
Sports / Re: African Player Of The Year: Why Mikel Should Trump Yaya And Drogba , By Goal.com by yoji: 2:43pm On Jan 04, 2014
Shegman22: how many matches onazi and sunday mba started at afcon?.... Mikel obi played every min with 4 assist and 3 man of the match award
Mike had 2 man of the match awards not 3 and both were against the same team, Burkina Faso in d group and in d final. Against Zambia, man of the match was mweenie, against Ethiopia it was enyeama, against cote d voire it was mba and against Mali it was emenike.
Now mba didn't play our first 2 games which coincidentally were our worst games and was drafted in when we were on d verge of elimination against Ethiopia which we won and that kick started our winning run in the tournament.
Then came cote d voire, our toughest opponent and mba delivered a man of the match performance, scoring d winning goal in d process. Then he scored another memorable goal again in the final to win the cup for Nigeria. Both goals were classic memorable goals that will live in our memories for a very long time and as such, in the next 10year's when the 2013 AFCON is mentioned its Sunday mba we will remember and not mike obi.
I still maintain that we won it as a team cos everybody played his part, but since some people wanna give d praise to mikel by saying he led us and was d star, then i must disagree cos that acolade has to go to SUNDAY MBA.
Sports / Re: African Player Of The Year: Why Mikel Should Trump Yaya And Drogba , By Goal.com by yoji: 9:35am On Jan 04, 2014
Anybody sayin we won afcon cos of mikel is insulting the contribution of Sunday mba, moses , onazi , and enyeama. We won it because of d team performance as a result of d team spirit instilled by d coach. We were underwhelming and poor in d group games where mikell missed a penalty sef but managed to step it up in d knock out stage.

Can't help feeling ada ada would have passed unnoticed without the video. And even with d splendid video driven popularity, it's probably jammed only at weddings cos i don't think many people have it on their playlists when driving around in their cars. Also am thinking very few if any .DJs have it on their playlists for weekend groove.
Even the video as good as it is , is one of those videos you a guy can't watch often as it becomes cumbersome due to the elaborate nature.
Also jaiye jaiye's absence from the list makes it a JOKE cos that jam is something else.. see combo abeg :wizzy , sarz and kuti at their best.

Cooldude001: I think i disagree with Zlatan. This is a sport most people sees as a man's game & if the women are playing football as highly recognized as Female football is today, i think Women deserves better as well & they should be respected.
Dude are u serious? Football like any other sport is a BUSINESS. The more money you generate, the more returns for u. Money is generated by gate fees for stadiums, selling jerseys i.e merchandising, and getting sponsorships . Stop being sentimental.

The first installment was ok, but dragged in certain parts but could be excused since it was d first in the series. The latest however had no such problems as despite it being almost 3hrs, you wouldn't notice as something was happening all the time. HOWEVER the problem with this second installment is that you never got the sense that they were in any real danger throughout. How can 15 or so dwarves undergo that kind of your 'supposedly' dangerous adventure and the closest fatality was a thigh injury to one of them that still got treated. 1 or 2 of the dwarves should have died en route. It felt more like a video game than a movie

Music/Radio / Re: An Open Letter To 9ice by yoji: 9:42am On Dec 21, 2013
9ice's uniqueness and cross-over appeal make him one of the best artist we have ever seen. It's hypocritical to think that we can live our lives the way we want, but 9ice should live his life the way WE want..if 9ice is in a marriage he wants no more, why should he remain there to make u happy and not do what he wants. Do you know if there were just living as roommates? What if d marriage had gotten to a point of no return? Abeggi....besides fall in popularity is normal for Nigerian artists without necessarily being tied to your lifestyle. Besides i personally even rate bashorun gaa as his best album.

Music/Radio / Re: Top 10 Under-Rated Rappers In Nigeria by yoji: 1:47pm On Dec 15, 2013
JustHector: You guys can get mad all you like with the OP,rant, throw a tantrum like a 7yr-old,that doesn't change his mind or his opinions.BTW,he only asked for yours, not force his down all of your throats. Now back to the subject, topic shoulda been underrated, not wackiest..Lyrisists like Pheroshuwz,Ill-bliss have done a lot to change the sound of rap in nigeria(mind you I didn't say meaning),cos hip-hop has got no morals.Eedris and Ruggedman are old timers, they done good for themselves and the game already..bleep commercials!Like someone else has pointed out,the likes of Skales and Lynxx are entertainers, more like D-banj alter egos...And the whole rap game setup in naija is a hoax, niggas rapping abt bitches, beef and how they got dough..Cut me some slacks..but like I said before, rhymes are tight, lyrics are mind-boggling,and the beats is dope! To all the haters who won't give the OP a breathing space,u can always make your voice 'read' without being abusive..Am out.
You can have your own opinion but not your own facts. If he said these were rappers he disliked, nobody would throw tantrums. Some names on the list shows he knows little about rap. Naming pheroshuz is just an example. He erroneously claimed that his hit track 'correct' needed a remix with other artists to blow. The original stil remains more popular cos of his amazing pigeon English approach in all d verses and you and i know that that appeals to a wider audience especially up north.
He now used just 1 line to diss him which further shows his limited knowledge of rap. When vector said "hotter than a stove", did anybody ask him whether the stove was in use or not? But this doesn't change the fact that vector remains one .pf spur top rappers in Nigeria still.
