There is nothing wrong with Nigerian music. It's you who listens to club music expecting lyrical prowess that has a problem. Just keep to Bez, asa , gt the guitar man, waje, 2face, adol, brymo, timi dakolo, t.y. bello, toba gold, nosa , Leo wonder, nneka, omawunmi, Lara George, etc and you'l be just fine. So pls stop ranting

Ur right. It's not uncommon for rival sects to target burial processions of the dead. That's what happened. How can someone think a body was prepared for burial without a bomb being detected.

arsetalks: Very shameful how his career has turned. He would have been a better player and doing exploits if he had not betrayed Wenger.

Many will argue he wants to win titles which is okay but the sincere truth is that if he had stayed with Arsenal, he would have shone brighter than he is doing at city and can we honestly say he is proud of his laurels knowing he contributed little or nothing to winning such?

Wenger made him look so good.
Does being a fan blind you to facts Nasri's problem is attitude that's all. D guy moved to city, struggled under mancini but found his footing under pellegrini becoming a major player as en route to his 2nd league title! Not forgetting the extra money he made and you are here beefing when d dude has no regrets. Your club replaced him with cazorla who has performed admirably

It's a tough one, but i would pick the flying dutchman cos it will never be done again. Rivaldo scored a goal similar to rodriguez in Brazil's second round match against Belgium in worldcup 02. Plus van persie saw a chance catch the keeper of his line and took it.

Sports / Re: Evidence That Messi Deserves The Golden Ball: Picture by yoji: 5:11am On Jul 18, 2014
It surprised FIFA president Sepp Blatter and Maradona claimed it was a marketing stunt, but now one of the men responsible for awarding Lionel Messi with the World Cup's Golden Ball has explained the decision. And it sounds pretty reasonable. The winner of the award was decided by FIFA's Technical Study Group and after days of debate and theorizing, former Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier, a member of the group, has explained the reasoning behind the choice. He told Le Monde (via ESPN):"I understand that it has surprised, because everyone only remembers the second half of Lionel Messi in the final. We, the commission, we look at all the games, and we judge that he was the most important man for his team. He went to the final, which is one of the conditions for the attribution of the trophy," the ex-Liverpool and Aston Villa boss explained."Moreover, Messi was more than decisive in the first four games. In the semifinal against the Netherlands, he took the first penalty and scored. The analysis also takes into account the fact he was the captain of a united team. A team that played well together. That's something we hadn't seen for a long time from Argentina. He was more than key in the squad and the way it was set up. For me, he fully deserves the Golden Ball given he took his team through to the final."Messi scored four goals in Argentina's first three matches and set up Angel Di Maria's winner in the round of 16. He played a quieter role in the later rounds, but Houllier argued that the Netherlands' Arjen Robben, widely regarded as a top candidate for the award, "didn't carry so much weight with the team." Houllier also reasoned that Colombia's James Rodriguez, who won the Golden Boot as the tournament's top scorer, didn't make it far enough to be considered (Colombia were eliminated by Brazil in the quarterfinals).Houllier did say that Di Maria would have been "a very serious contender" had he not suffered a thigh injury in the quarterfinals that ended his tournament. But Messi's closest competitor for the award was Germany's Thomas Muller, who scored five goals for the World Cup winners. The Frenchman believes that Messi had the better tournament on the whole and was more vital to Argentina's success than Muller was to Germany's, though. So that's the explanation/cover story for giving Messi the 2014 World Cup's Golden Boot award. Maradona will surely be revising his conspiracy theories shortly.
James shone cos he came in as an unknown. As soon as he announced his quality with the goal vs Uruguay, the Brazilians took note and marked and fouled him out of the tournament. So u can imagine what messi ha to cope with from the onset.
Robben had a similar record to messi in not scoring in his last 3 games but messi made it to the final while robben dove his way to the third place match. So what's the fuss about robben. Same way d dutch marked out messi, the argies marked out robben.
Muller is a victim of the perfection of the team he played for. He was just as useful as his other teammates and you get the impression German won have still won the world cup without him after all Marco reus didn't even make it. Most of his goals too came at the group stage as his only knock out phase goal came against a Brazil that even kheidera scored 2 against.
The nature of the German team makes it almost unfair to other members of the team to pick one person.

Dude their best player is Muller not reus. Go check last world cup (2010) Muller was the golden boot winner.
I meant going into the world cup, Marco reus was their best player. Over the past three years proceeding the world cup, reus was their best player . Am not referring to career wise otherwise u might as well bring in klinsman.
Muller is an average player who plays for a spectacular team and his efficiency is why he is there. He never quite wowed me but i respect his efficiency. Germany can do without him cos Germany is about the team not any individuals.

Let's look at it this way, Germany won the world cup withoutt their best player i.e reus meaning without muller it would have made no difference. But without messi, Argentina will definitely not come near the final sef. So year he does.

If you like, argue with the legend because you know more than him.

I agree with u. Am surprised someone would ignore a stat that says Germany has almost 3 times the average completed passes in the tournament just for the sake of arguing. Also ignoring that lahm and kroos who play under pep at club level are the top passes in the tournament .
Germany also adopted the false 9 option synonymous with tiki taka by taking only 1 out and out striker to the world cup i.e klose since mueller plays anywhere across the frontline.
It's pathetic when someone points to a lost match by barca or peps bayern as reason for the systems demise as if the players are not human anymore. The win percentage would b more appropriate.
All the noise about the system being dead conveniently ignores that pep won the league in record time, not forgetting the cup.
Also people make it look as if jupp heynkes bayern was perfect forgetting that there were almost serial losers until their fortunes changed. There were constantly waxed by dortmund and even lost the champs league final to chelsea in their backyard and lost the cup and league to dortmund that same year.
The only difference is that Germany attacked quicker while Spain wore out the opponent waiting for that play guaranteed the goal. Come to think of it, from loews perspective, if u have a team dominated by players that play a successful system, your work will have been made easier.

I don't just get it in the eighties marvel movies were just average maybe because they hadn't perfected their CGI then.
When they now started, their movies were good even fanstastic four try small
After that 2007 marvel just started making rubbish their movies stopped having plots, no character development, no realism or plausibility them own na just to show us people killing each other with the cheapest CGI possible SMH nowadays the best way to stand a marvel movie it's just to picture it as a comedy
Leave capt America o! That movie was very good. Assuming it was not ok by u, can u please list movies that were okay by u cos i wanna know where u are coming from with this.

Maradona was a god when he won d WC. Pele played 4 WC and won 3 , d only he dint win was because of d injury he picked up in his 1st game and was ruled out. Berkembua ( wrong spelling tho) carried a disorientated German team as of that time to win it .

The problem is that this generation only judge wit d football they c nw . Go check out history and c hw difficult it was to win d WC then . The new rules now have made it easier for this generation strikers and attackers

They were not defending like this that time o!

Sports / Why Liverpool Will Fail After Suarez Departure by yoji: 9:45am On Jul 12, 2014
It's simple, rogers signs useless players too often. His record in the transfer market is poor. And after signing lots of players, their splendid season was masterminded by players he met there i.e suarez and gerard . Check out his signins:
1- aspas: hopeless striker that confused fans and teammates alike

2- Moses: on loan from chelsea and despite all his hype, he was exposed at anfield.

3- ilori : another waste of money. Where is he sef ?

4- toure : calamity toure. His name on the teamsheet made Liverpool supporters hearts skip a beat.

5- sakho: too inconsistent despite all attempts to play him into form .

6-borini: rogers bought him in his first season and loaned him out to reduce the embarrassment and now his not sure if he wants him back.

7- cissoko: bought from valencia as back up to enrique and couldn't hold down a place after enrique had a long term injury. He had to deploy flanagan who was discovered by daglish who was originally a right back to to play at left back
.
8- Luis alberto : please don't make me laugh. Na by force to buy Spanish player

9- Joe Allen: definitely not a big club player and was brought along due to his loyalty with rogers at swansea

Instead of probing him, now they have handed him money to keep buying mediocre players. Now that suarez is gone, let's see.

Both lost in the semis but 1 would eventually win the 3rd place. It is called 'consolation'
So why don't the euros organise this to get third place??
Why isn't this done in the champions league or FA cup??
It's not like the olympics where there is an actual bronze medal to strive for and of which the winner will forever called an olympian.

Sports / Why This 3rd Place Match??? by yoji: 8:49pm On Jul 10, 2014
After watching over 60 matches in 3weeks, why does fifa feel we still wanna see people battle out for 3rd place. It's easy to know who came third without subjecting us to another match. If Netherlands lost their semi on penalties and Brazil got whipped 7-1, you dome need a soothe sayer to tell u Netherlands came third for stats sake.
Even fifa knows this deep down and that's why after 90mins, there is no extra time but penalties straight. I applaud Europe for not organising a 3rd place match in the euros cos they know it's worthless.
I Remember in 98 when Croatia beat the dutch to come third, that was only half the story. The dutch known as the best team not to win the world cup came into the tournament with a very strong squad with their eyes on the prize but lost d semi to Brazil in a penalty shoot out. The disappointment was still there to see as they filed out to play Croatia in the third place match and they still couldn't recover as they lost d match to Croatia who had over -achieved and thereby treated the match as a final. The dutch without any motivation couldn't give a damn.
This match is irrelevant and am sure Brazil after their humiliation don't wanna play football so soon. But seriously why do u need 90min to play a match with 3rd as a reward

Daguccizgreat: What is manuel neuer doing on top of dat list ? Enyeama's Position on the list is ok bt neuer shud be no were near the Top 4....shambolic rating
Calm down. I understand why neuer is on top. He not just a keeper but also a sweeper. the kind of thing lloris does at spurs. When a team constantly plays a high line like Germany does, it constantly puts the opposition under sustained pressure but risk been caught out if the offside fails. Neuer's anticipation in snuffing out opposition counters has been spectacular. His ball distribution too is very good.
No doubt enyeama is very good but the goalkeepin level at this tournament has been awesome as a whole but let's not forget that his clean sheets came against an Iran that swore not to attack and against Bosnia thanks to referee assisted error is disallowing dzeko's goal. If he put up this performance at any other worldcup, he would b the best no doubt but men this year, no b only him waka come.
The error against France will also count against him as only him and cassilas have made errors that sunk their teams.
Howard should be ahead of him. Obama even called him despite their loss to Belgium where he stood out.

Guykhena: One thing she doesn't know is that in Hollywood you use a marketable name which doesn't have difficulty in pronounciation(for those you might be working with).

Take TVD star Paul Wesley for example who is Polish, was born Paul Wasilewski, he had to change his name to Paul Wesley which is more relatable to the audience and not difficult to pronounce..
If schwarzenneger could make it with that name, then she has a point.
