Another interesting day in the market, started on a scary note, but ended fairly well. For those of us that are still in the market. I say congratulations.

Due to the bearish Ness of this market, we are shifting our attention to ETF due to the opportunity to play on the bearish side. It has been interesting although challenging.

Playing the etf allows us to hedge our postion. For example we have a number of GOLD stocks we are holding for the long term (just collection some small DIvidends (buying an ETF like jdst can serve like a hedge for those positions!!!

A THOUGH DAY IN THE MARKET
We are still holding on, today we did some very tiny trade on Chaka/Trove just to test how paying commission will be!!! Look strange, but we just have to get used to it. Quality of service matters, I will not mind paying commission at Passfolio as the quality of service is BAM.

We continue to protect ourself against the market shock (this is alright). but the best antidote to the vear market is for us to stay out/reduce our position.

We have decided to mind our business by staying focus in this forum, especially looking at the limitless opportunity compared with the limited opportunity in Nigeria stocks.

Weekend was nice on the blockchain side and we believe there is high probability for the new week beginning on a bullish note.

Our method of picking stocks is getting out of the common indicator type trading system. The method uses indicators in a unique way such that we are not likely to buy at the top. For example one of the stocks we would be following up is OXY, which may be likely be bought over by Buffet, we may not buy immediately our indicators will tell us when to do.

I will say it again, trying to navigate this market without a subscription service is like going to a modern war with a dane gun against AK47.

TRADING IS A MIXTURE OF ART AND SCIENCE
These days I realize that, I do not look at my indicators the way I used to do previously (the chart patterns matters to me more plus the location of some particular uncommon indicators). I am sure the members of our group will be wondering how I get so much ideas from the charts. Actually it is an accumulation of knowledge plus quality screen time and trading with real money where our capital is always at risk.

For example one of our Systems had no stochastics among the indicators, and as if I am noticing for the fist time, I wanted to ask myself how have I been using this without Stochastics? I just reminded myself that, since it is working there is noting to fix, again today, I discover that I can see how many incators out of 12 are saying yes for me to take a trade again, big shock wating for me, 12 out of 12 may mean I am about to enter a trade too late (actually another system confirm this, thus my scientific side saying the more the indicators that are in place, the better will be the trade was faulted? At the end of the day the pattern bailed me out again?

This having a pattern that is unique to us, is better than science (fundamental analysis is pure science, and does it work always, no), so for our trading to be successful we need some art side like pattern recognition. ANOTHER SWEET DAY IN THE MARKET

We did some transaction again in the market today. This no commission is just too fantastic.

WAULENCE IS HERE- WE NEED TO FOCUS

Did anybody catch the move on REV. A fantastic one. Personally we missed it. But I know more will come again.

Opportunities are here, but to catch this opportunities we need a trading system. It surprises me that people want to trade without knowledge of technical analysis!!! You need to be able to read simple charts, if you do not know this, then you may get our trading plan blueprint. This is a bootcamp on technical analysis, tells you what you need to know such that in the next 2 hrs after reading the manual plus the video explanation you can start trading. News can confuse us, but if we have our own system, we can disregard the news.

I can remember yesterday, I was about to sell SIGA, to take my 7% profit elsewhere (this is the advantage of no commission trading, you can trade more regularly just with gain if becessary), but the pattern on the chart indicated that following day (today) may be bullish, I did not need ant news not to sell and this morning stock is up another 3% premarket. We are selling as we consolidate our portfolio to move to trading higher values in view of commission introduction by Passfolio (if I have my way, I should be happy paying commission at Passfolio if the rate is flat, but the minimum commission is the snag, I sill believe I will trade more with Passfolio, the plaform is so good )

The only thing that will make us start trading on Chaka/Trove is just pure, patriotism, the platforms are just below standard for Global stock trading (Morgan platform for trading local stocks even looks better, as you get prices straight from the exchange and you withdraw your money without interacting with any human being and is so perfect (press the button and withing a short time under 1hr you will receive alert) , for local stock side Morgan is bamm!!! But let us increase our patronage for Chaka in the spirit of Patriotism. These Chaka and Trove need to do something about their platform, I don't even bother to read any message from them (since they have taken Customers for granted, Customer too is treating them like necessary evil) , it is that bad, is this what Nigeria can offer, definitely no no, we can do better, CHAKA and Trove over to you?

Premarket looking good, today is a likely recovery day with Chinese stocks leading the pack.

Looking at the medium term, Chinese stocks I. The medium term may perform better than US stocks. Follow up on our service for our various stocks on daily basis.

Despite the fact that we provide stocks to buy on daily basis, as a trader you should have a trading system that should tell you which of the suggested stocks are better. A case in point was yesterday, when all the stocks in our initial list were red early hour of the trading day, it was scary, immediately we just went back to our system and scan the market at that point in time and we bought (SIGA), probably as a temporary holding place for our cash, we are looking for small gain here as we prefer stocks with some dividend paying characteristics at this point (we bought on the face of a compelling pattern as per our trading system, we trust this system as it has been tested by the market and found to be good, this is the reason I will stay out of the market if our scan does not see any stock, we can't fight the market )

THE GLOBAL MARKET IS SWEET-BUT YOU NEED RIGHT TOOLS AND CONCENTRATION.

Our portfolio ended positive for the day and I know tommorow will be better.

FED raising rate by 0.075% is just as expected, and the next one is going to be 0.05% in July. This market is fairly predictable if we know what to look for. But if we are going to be chasing stocks below $1, then we should be ready to see some losses in our portfolio especially if we have no paid subscription service for signals or a charting platform that is paid for. We should remember the recent #CPI figures, this was how market was pushed up earlier in the day, but after CPI report hell was let loose, let us be careful, play on the side of CAUTION

MARKET COMMENT 13 JUNE 2022
Today is 13th?. I am sure 13 as a date will trigger something on our memory. When, the market opens today, we will see the bear in action We should not panic, let us have stocks in place to prote t our profits and equally avoid big losses especially for recently bought stocks that we are not sure of. any loss above 10% should be considered as big!!!

With market likely to be bearish today, this will produce a bearish pattern that will definitely stay till the end of the week.

Block chain tokens are no go area at the moment? Market is telling us to stay away from them, not me!!!

For passfolio/other platforms, their charging commission is okay, as long as it will enable us used stop loss. so for some of us paying commission should be no big deal, but we need good service that will update prices as they change, even for our watchlist (Chaka is guilty here, except they have done something about it. Stock on my watchlist was showing 14.00, when actual price is +17.00, they made me miss opportunity to buy as actual price was going up . Our stop has already taken us out of a trade this morning (a big relieve, at least my cash is safe) and after this message, will put more stops.

This notice of commission change by Passfolio is a blessing in disguise, now I have to force myself to buy stocks that will make 1% commission reasonable and if I am not prepared, I start packing my load to move to Chaka/Trove. Moving to Chaka/Trove is favoured as there seems to be no benefit staying at Passfolio after June with so many terms and conditions!!! Zero trade is still an option, but equally has some terms that is not so easy for the generality of the small traders!!! We moveeee!!!!

ENERGY STOCKS ARE TOO SWEET AT THE MOMENT

OPPORTUNITY OFFERED BY THE GLOBAL MARKET IS GOOD
I am happy to be involved in the Global stock market, if Nigeria market is dull, alternative offered by the global market offered me a way to diversify my investment.

It may suprised some people that I have not bothered to visit the Nigeria market today, as I believe it has little potential at the moment compared with the Global market. I wish the people at NSEMPA who only trades the Nigeria market well

For example I have sold and bought so many oil stocks profitably in the global market. But on the Nigeria side, the oil stocks have been so slow. For example I bought BPT (you can check the forum, I recommended stock at around $15 but now trading above $21 and likely to go higher with good dividend) made profit and now back into the stock again.

The Global market offer me and you as an individual, opportunity to make $ from our various Nigeria locations. If we cannot travel to US, then we can send our money to go to US and bring us dollars. I believe we get the logic.

BEARS ON THE PROWL TODAY- BUT DEPENDING ON YOUR PORTFOLIO (NOT TOO BAD)

I have been thinking of the conditions given by Passfolio, for some of us that are not used to gambling (if after 10 trades for the month, you still pay commission whether Pro or no pro).

Please for those of us who have been given the free pro account, let us remember to exit that pro by 30 June, or you will get charged for August or one day in July you will find yourself paying the minimum commission on a trade of small value? Looking at the frequency of our trades ( I do more than 10 trades a month), Chaka/Trove is looking like an alternative, Trove is in my consideration again, for the reason that I know that the shares bought are fully in my name with communications from registrars coming directly to me and have received countless courier letters from the registrar of most companies in my Trove Portfolio).

Commission is not new, and since we are still paying for the other products at the moment and we are not complaining (I can't even feel it, maybe because the products can move fast in a short time and you can day trade without any penalty if you want) , Chaka/ Trade will still be a good stop gap measure.

Going forward, we need to confirm if trading 212 has not introduced commission too?

WE HAVE STARTED PUTING HOW HOUSE IN ORDER FOR THE NEW RULE FROM PASSFOLIO
Who followed our recommendation to buy Uranium stock some few days ago? It was not a smooth trade, the trade did like Tinubu dance to the front, then to the back, and then jumped fr=inally to the front today, gain not much, just about 8% today (we don't gamble with those stocks that will show 40% today and then go ahead to loose 50% in some few days).

Closed a number of profitable trades and then put something of fair value into HUYA today.

Now we need to start thinking of trading at least $100 at a time. Whoever is interested, my alternative trade today would have been KODK (Eastman Kodak).

I am just feeling good today, that is why the free trade. Again I will say it for the upteenth time, we need to get a signal service plus have our own trading system, this market is not friendly to whoever is not ready to invest in the tools of the trade and then grow big with time (the big daytraders have already embarrased those of us that are trading with less than $500 at a time, they have threatened to buy the charting platform and then increase the monthly subscription, plus make it to deliver faster data that they need in order to make more money, you can see that the big Guys don't care if other loose money!!!, the same way Trove and co are not listening to add more stocks even up to the level of Passfolio, we are not asking for anything near what Trading 212 offers) .[b][/b]

It is a pity, Trove, Chaka or any other local APP will not benefit substantially from this Passfolio new commission rate as the trading platforms are just too ordinary (good for trading Nigeria stocks, but poor for the global market?). Some of us are already planning what we can do to continue with Passfolio (sacrifice is just $5 per month, still substantially below what we are paying for our charting platform, but still an additional cost?)

PASSFOLIO STOPPING ZERO COMMISSION - NOT A VERY GOOD NEWS
The issue now is that, our local APPs will gain back some Customers who will not want to pay the new fees.

But, for the current Customers, we may still enjoy the service till end of July as per the attached.

This is a big loss for those that may not be able to go with Passfolio, the platform is just too good.

We should continue to see what we can do on this matter, But the plaform, plus zero commission was just like a free gift for The Customers.

Life continues, let us see if anither plaform will come up. However, this is copy of the notice saying some Customers will get free access to the pro platform till probably end of July(needs confirmation).

Not totally a bad case at least the other side (this is a coded language for the current users, is still normal)
