WHAT Do You LIKE ABOUT THE TRADING APP YOU ARE USING
Today, passfolio got me out of some trades for showing me the correct daily profit/loss by individual stock, cumulative profit/loss per individual stock, cummulative/daily profit(loss) for my portfolio. These, are the type of information that the 2 other popular local APP do not give properly (I bet you on this 2 other APP you will not be sure of your daily/cumulative profit/loss on each stock just as a glance) , which is what Passfolio gives.

The APP safe me for the day. We have some ammunition for tomorrow's opportunities against Monday, depending on if things get better in the market. Thank U Passfolio, we are enjoying the platform .

QUESTION ON DAY TRADING, WHICH APP CAN ALLOW YOU DO IT WITH JUST NGN6K EQUIVALENT
I am happy to inform the numerous people who have been thinking of day trading?

On Passfolio you are allowed to buy a stock and sell it sameday, only caveat is that you can do that type of trade 3 times in a week. So with as little as $10 you can day trade. This is a luxury not previously available on most platforms before unless you have a minimum of 2k.so for the day traders the field is open.

And on the blockchain side, I think you can buy sell sameday as you like (your approximately 1.5% commission per day is the only cost). For me this commission for blockchain token buy sell is a VERY GOOD DEAL.

TODAY 29 MARCH IS ONE OF THE BEST DAYS FOR ONE OF OUR PORTFOLIOS

Looking at our scans, the list of stocks in the buying zone is so long, but for someone following the market everyday, you may sometimes want to build on previous scans. We bought a relatively safe stock "SBSW". Another good stock for the day was: YALA.

Generally, GAS/GAS TRANSPORTATION, OIL SERVICES are industries that deserves a place in our portfolios.

We are enjoying this commission free trading, this must be one of the best inventions in recent times. That, if my portfolio is showing a gain of 3%, I can sell it at no cost and move to another one, this is still like magic for those of US who had been paying commission previously. There are 3 options: you mentioned 2. The 3rd one is via the virtual on line Trove Card. This is useful if you want to retain the USD for transactions on other websites that accepts USD, like Amazon, Alibaba etc.

I stick to the simple way, I withdraw money to my Local bank account. See one that we did today (we withdraw money from time to time, it is an indication that at least we are making some money from our trades/give report on stress tests of the APP if necessary.

Actually you made us post today. We want to remain quiet once a while, so that others can bring their ideas, our followers on Twitter give us more encouragement than those in Nairaland. But no problem, we will continue our good work and be more serious to deliver profits to our subscribers.

Does Passfolio offer extended market trading (pre and After market trading) ?

No for stocks .
It is better to stick to normal market opening hours. But blockchain tokens can be traded 24 hrs.

Trading pre or extended hours are risky due to low liquidity that leads to what we can say can be unusually high prices (big spread between buy and ask in periods of low liquidity).

Are you able to trade now! Also the APP can be slow, use the web option as it is faster. I realize that I am more at home with the Webb option via Chrome, as the APP does slow motion most of the time

Also, if you have a problem like this you can easily call a number like mine, at least the problem can be solved faster, waiting for 2 days is too much? This evening again I just put in an order, very smooth sailing.

I am sure big funds had this Ukraine information on Monday (don't ask me how I know, there are subscription services that give eye witness news by satellite worldwide to subscribers, the Customers are basically big institutions, the cost is over$1000 per monthly, one of Buffet's companies runs one). The lesson here is that you cannot win in this market as a news or findamentals trader competing against the big money.

Have you noticed FLOKI INU adverts recently, in December 2021, we have pointed out that Influencers have been appointed to start promoting the coin. If you value your money, just ignore the advert and focus on your trading system to show you from the strong blockchain tokens whick one is in a goid buying zone. Fliku Inu is a meme coin and may probably be a very risky investment (full stop, a word is enough for the wise).

PREMARKET FOR 17 MARCH 2022
This is the market picture earlier in the day. Oil, gaming, energy stocks are coming back, plus semi conductors. For sem conductor, I may not mind playing with the index SOXL

For Chinese stocks, the situation seems mixed, I can see YINN in negative (this is unexpected).

Let us see what happens later in the day.

If we are serious with our trading. The best good we can do for ourself is to start with Passfolio. One of the good things I love about passfolio is that you can see your daily gains, cumulative gain and total portfolio gain easily compared with other APPS. Also this commission free trading is the best taht can happen to an investor. Today I moved some of my gains from GRT token to SOLANA. First you cannot see these tokens on TROVE/CHAKA/BAMBOO. The fact that these other APPS charges commission for every trade is a disincentive to make you a good trader.

On major foreign APPS not accepting Nigerians, we should not be suprised. I was veru unhappy to see GHANA, TOGO, REPULIC, OF BENIN, NIGER etc beign acceptable Countries by Interactive, we need to start condemning Nigerian Fraudsters and Yahoo Yahoo boys, fraudsters are just too many in Nigeria and the earlier we all condem this unwholesome attitude the better for Nigeria image.

AFTERNOON MARKET COMMENT
Market extremely bullish. There is temptation to start buying. However, it is better to wait till the Fed decision is out.

Shorting or buying EDZ yesterday resulted in a loss on the trade at the moment. Loss has minimal effect on our portfolio. This shows the peril of buying in overbought area.

For today, we are waiting for fed decision and one hour letter, big money will give us their verdict (one hour after FOMC decision is 8.30pm West Africa Time). Some stocks we may look into: MT, AEG, TMC, PFE, LYG

HAVING A SIGNAL SERVICE IS GOOD- ONE OF THE ADVANTAGES IS THAT IT ALLOWS YOU TO PLAN

Today I planned to hedge my position with an inverse ETF, I has 3 signals (EDZ, TMW, RMW), at our normal daily buying window, all I has to do is plus the 3 into my chart and I settled for EDZ. I am happy with buying EDZ today, bought just about 15 minutes before writing this mail. This is one of those few times when I did not feel any fear in buying a postions

US STOCK PICKS 15 MARCH
Market is currently in a pretty unpredictable state. However, if we need to buy anything, we need caution. Today, I am convinced that I need a stock on the short side (I am taking this as a purely short term play). Stock pick today is EDZ

I'm this market only serious investors will survive. We need to invested in the right tools, like a signal service/charting package etc. You can start with our service, it is the cheapest you can get, but the recommendations are good (you will likely get similar at 5x our price elsewhere).

One of the lessons I have learnt from this Russia/Ukraine crisis is that news can be bias, you open twitter, people are only commenting based on if they are Arabs, Americans etc, getting the actual fact each day looks difficult. Therefore, we should learn to take news with a grain of salt.

WHICH BROKER IS THE BEST AT THE MOMENT- PASSFOLIO IS FAIR

Very interesting reading on the above. From my current experience up to14 March 2022, I will chose PASSFOLIO as the best out of the Apps Nigerians can easily open account with.

The obvious caveat is that we better limit ourself to the the simple side of the app: do not use margin, avoid pro account and I am sure you will be okay and thank me later.

For me the fact that after the entrance fee (look at my previous post, this is1% to 1.5%), you then trade commission free as long as your money is in the system.

For those saying Trove, it is 1% commission for each trade, plus as at now platform is not too friendly and dump customer service, plus the fact that payments are sometimes delayed until you send repeated mails.

Realy this matter interest me and I attached some of the negative reviews on Passfolio. However, I see no big deal in thes negative reviews as long as you observe the caveat earlier mentioned. The rates is now okay, they cannot hold your money if you have not made mistake (for this reason, I avoid using my card for transfer, I do it from my bank). Also you need to check some of those negative reviews, if they are early 2021, then know that that review is likely to be outdated.

For now I can say my experience with Passfolio on average is far better than the push and pull with Trove. I can give Passfolio 60%, Chaka 50% and Trove 20%. Please open your account with anyone you like and then please inform us of your discovery. On most other matter they are all same, you get nearly same exchange rate (money is converted at parallel market rates).

Finally, apart from no commission with passfolio, you can buy blockchain/metaverse tokens. Thus you have more product options to consider. Nevertheless, we should continue to look for better brokers that will reduce our current headaches with Trove/Chaka and co.

WHICH NIGERIA PLATFORM IS LIKELY TO BRING US ZERO COMMISSION TRADING?
Following up on OAKPEARL post earlier, the Nigerian APPs are not the best (but if you have neither driver's Licence nor International passport), you just have to continue using them or you do not have up to a minimum of $500 to start trading (I will still take Passfolio as local as your NIN is acceptable, or we say the platform is halfcast).

I believe, Trove can do it if they put their acts together. Introducing this new debit card business can change things for then at a time like this. I initially ignore this card, but when I start getting notice from all the banks that FX for subribscription/other international payment is limited to $20 per payment for an individual, but we have subscription for chart service payment that is above this figure, I just realized that I need that card (at least I will not need to go and be looking for any Malam to and buy $, I can buy at parallel market rate as usual from Trove and just pay my subscription or Alibaba etc as the case may be).
