You can only get monthly dividend paying stocks in Global Stocks, which are available through Passfolio, Chaka etc. You need to visit the us stock forum for more information. Some stocks that pay monthly dividend (they are not too risky, I wonder when someone said the stocks can be extremely risky, A Nigerian stock and a Global stock which is more risky: as long as you dot go and buy those penny stocks, Global stocks carry less risk, there are stocks that have been paying dividend for more than 50 years). Some monthly dividend stock: GAB, AMZA, ORC, INF etc. As regards how you can know the exchange a stock is quoted, just type the stock name on Google and the name plus exchange where quoted will show up.

STOCK PICKS JAN 6 2022

Chart patterns are in downtrend. Time to take some break from buying, while monitoring our current position. Dollar Index/VIX in bullish zone and Energy Index close to resistance, there is big risk for the bulls.

We need to start learning how to build a good portfolio that can benefit us for the future. What this mean is that we need to have dividend paying stocks in our portfolio. We may not get the big gains immediately, but we equally avoid big losses that can send us out of the market too soon. Will expatiate more on this.

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY

So many dividend paying stocks we had in mind today jumped up in price. I liquidated some stocks with the hope of buying the likes of SHLX, MPLX, KNOP.

However, the fact that I am unhappy with some APPS tied my hand. Today. I was forced to restrain myself, I am ready to lose the gains that my occur in the above stocks for 2 days, as I decided to seek for a low commission charging APP.

I will answer this question using Fela's analogy on payment of Tithe. You know Church collects tithe when you enter the Church, the Pastor tell you is time to pay Tithe (let us call that Tithe commission), this is the way Chaka, Trove collects theirs.

For Passfolio, you are told no commission, I will frankly tell you there is commission collected indirectly. Like Fela said at the Shrine, Tithe or commission is collected at the entrance into the Shrine like gate fee. There is commission, but when you are depositing money, you pay 1.4% Transfer fee to get your Naira Converted To Dollar, then you pay additional 0.5% fee to passfolio. Thereafter, you will pay nothing on your trades. I will also recommend that when you are depositing your money, you should do the transfer from a banking hall, as this will reduce your entrance fee by 0.5% plus bypass some other conditions that are not to your disadvantage when you transfer from your card.

Market still bullish generally. Unfortunately, we are already in holiday mood with plan for next year getting in place. The new year will likely start with the challenge of Omicron and inflation likely taking the front seat, but the market seems ready and may not create strong shakeout as long as the intensity is not heightened.

I realised with a trading account with Passfolio, I can find better us for my small monthly dividends like $0.10 or higher/lower! I can use the money to buy MFT/Metaverse holding which may likely increase the money and make it useful latter or simply add to my current position. This is the good thing about blockchains, you can invest in fraction of pennies and still have the chance of making 10X of your money or more, you can calculate how may token of Shiba Inu I can buy with $0.13, over 2940units as at time of writing this mail, looks crazy, I wonder why we have never thought about this in the past (makes some sense).

GOOD QUALITY SERVICE IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED- KNOW YOUR APPS
Our trading apps are very vital, when things go wrong we should know how best we can get the support to solve the issues.

Last week Friday, I had a small issue with Chaka's trading platform. Due to the fact that I was in the middle of a trade, I sent a mail (this is the best way to deal with chaka, for Trove you will have to place a phone call repeatedly). Immediately, I sent the mail, about 8pm West Africa Time, the issue was attended to promptly to my satisfaction. Surprisingly, this morning Chaka send a mail confirming the problem plus an apology.

Chaka has demonstrated good Customer relations, how will I not appreciate this good quality service compared with other apps that will deny the problem. Good quality service is not more than this, and it is highly appreciated.

I want to say a good thank you to chaka for job well done, please keep it up and we pray that the Government will give necessary support for the firm/others to continue to operated in a business friendly environment. It is a pity that these apps find themselves in this unfriendly environment, if apps like this are in other Countries they would have performed better and contribute more to that Country's development and I am sure they would have secured more foreign support.

Today we want to say that it is good to follow someone that knows the road. Without being as good as we are today, in 2020 we made one of our best profit in a covid'19 vaccine stock. Now with covid'19 back in the news, follow us and see some magic. Have it in mind that we do swing trading, I am ready to sell the stock bought on Friday 17th December if this week I see a gain of 40%. In this environment we are looking for quick profits.

Today OMICRON was the big topic in the market. Therefore, it is no surprise that the RNA vaccine stocks took some shine off the market. If have any of these stocks, our portfolio would have been lifted up by them.

Today we bought: IMGN, SBSW, KGC/RBOT and CODX. We are not looking for big gains they are basically for swing trading.

We are looking at the market currently. Some opportunities are showing up. Initial list has: GFI, FREY, MAT, IMGN etc.

PLAN FOR END OF 2021 WITH FOCUS ON 2021
I want to curtail my risk appetite this time around. Will not like to add more losses to my portfolio. For this reason I will only buy dividend paying stocks to build up my defence line. For this I am likely to favour MLP or other high dividend paying stocks.

The meseriouslytaverse products are bleeding , but no need to loose sleep over this. The bleading on the metaverse side may be artificial looking at the way NFT/ Metaverse are beign mentioned over the media. Equally we should remember that this is an industry where big daily jump in price is common. We are saying this on condition that we have avoided low quality products, as long as we are holding like SAND, MANA, MATIC etc.

Again, I will say we need a guide in this market, a paid a service is better as the service provider will endeavor to give you his best. For example I excluded X-us steel from my watchlist despite the good technical formation, I will prefer SBSW which can give 10% gain in a few days. This is a type of knowledge ypu may not have on your own, we are talking practical feel for stocks.

FUNNY MARKET TODAY
Having a plan to work with is good. All our targeted stocks failed to meet our screening criterials. Nothing was bought, but we have some stock penciled down to exit from. The Gold/metals in general did well today.However the big money seems not to be too happy with Gold, many hedge funds are not taking up new postions in the commodity, we will continue to follow up on this.. Oil started the day well, but ended on retracement.

Tommorow is another day.

MARKET UPDATE 15 DEC
The reaction to FOMC report seems to be on the positive side as per the market reaction. We should still stick to our plan (there was big temptation for us to buy LCID, but we just stick to our buying plan, if you miss the post you can check our twitter page).

Nevertheless we bought ORC, the monthly dividend is small but has been very consistent. We bought at a good support/demand level.

On LCID. the chart below showed what the funds are doing. I am sure more funds are still buying at the moment. Funds are flat on Tesla (not adding aggressively) and are getting out of NIO (I don't why). I want to follow the funds, therefore if I am to buy EV stock, LCID is my choice.

Passfolio did not just start collecting currency conversion fee and passfolio fee.

Their currency conversion fee is capped at N2000 for deposits and ₦55 for withdrawal.

The passfolio fee is 0.5% for deposit or withdrawal.

Thanks. What you have stated applies for bank transfer. While what I have stated applies true for card payments (deposit charge/processing fees have no limit). Let us all take note.
