PASSFOLIO SEEMS ABOUT TO START COLLECTING MORE THAN THE COMMISSION CHARGED BY CHAKA OR TROVE INDIRECTLY

We need to continue our search for true zero commission brokers. Passfolio is now collecting more than 1% commission by charging 1% fee plus 1.40% conversion fee on deposit. These charges are too high, this is in addition to the $5 monthly fee to use stop orders I am sure a truely US based stockbroker will not see any Customet with this type of charges, my suspicion that this Passfolio has a Nigerian behind it is becoming real, tried to search for their Financials, but discover that they are like a sub broker of other sub brokers, may be this is why they have to pile up a lot of charges for the clients to pay (this Passfolio need to give us more information too as to why it is difficult to get their finacial statements or send their financial statements to us the way drivewealth use to do from time to time).

I have penciled down a US based Stockbroker that I am following up - Tradezero. com, the only issue is that minimum deposit is $500 but after this, it is nearly zero charge except you want to use margin.

I am prepared to start testing the market from tonight. I believe that bears have done enough damage to many equities. I may start with our stock pick for today as per our twitter post this morning or may pick from our watchlist. Will post some data tommorrow about LCID, showing that the hedge funds are buying and may likely continue to buy the stock.

On the metaverse side, the major products are in red, looking forward to average down, there is no need to panic as long as we limit ourselves to the top 50 products.

A GOOD TIME TO LEARN TO WAIT ON THE SIDELINE
This market seems to be programmed to entice us to buy at the wrong time. On our side we will not be willing to buy any risky stock till Wednesday, when smart money may start showing us a glimpse of the likely FOMC decision.

We should keep the dividend paying stocks in mind at a time like this, yields of +15% are now becoming easy, but we should go for stocks that can sustain the yields for some years into the future e.g IEP, ROC

THERE IS TIME FOR EVERYTHING- STANDING ON THE SIDELINE TILL MONDAY NEXT WEEK
A good time to take a break from the market and stay on the sideline. The bearish trend will probably continue till Monday.

Relying on news/youtube is a receipy for losses. News leads to herd mentality and is a time for big money to get out of their postions. The problem with youtube is that many of them are just influencers and not investors. Inflencers promotes products (look out for Nigerian Inflencers when they start work on FLOKI INU, it is a meme coin for which an experienced investor need to state awa from, it has started are you not reading how a Don Jazzy made 300k in some minutes from something call wakanda? ).

For example I did not know that Richard Branson has another Spac VGII currently trading at 9+, the company is about to merge with a TV station had some huge volume, now may be a good time to buy if we have done our work on the company (we have not look fully at this company). Now by the time the merger is completed and it is in the news, the price will likely jump and as news people are jumping in to buy, early buyers will be selling, while youtube and news are saying buy

The best gift we can give ourselves is to get a good subscription service, a good starting point will be the one that is going for 200Naira which will give us stock pick for both Nigeria and the Global stocks.

Let always have this in mind: MANY HAVE GONE (LOST THEIR MONEY/INVESTMENT CAPITAL) BE CAREFUL


On the metaverse side, market is dull as US parliament is holding an inquiry with some bitcoin exchanges who are involved in these products, price may still be subdued till this inquiry is over. But let us keep to the top ones only (SAND, MANA etc) .

Another good day for the bulls. NASDAQ composite booked a gain for the day despite the absence of any big news. Our stock for tommorow is SKLZ, with our 1st target as 20%.

SECTOR PERFORMANCE AS AT 8 DECEMBER 2021
The sectors are arranged based on weekly performance. Tuesday showed market in risk on mode.
Initial report today is telling us that bulls are not fully back, but at least some losses were recovered yesterday and any positive news should be able to sustain the bullish comeback. For now, we still need to buy with caution.

Today is a recovery day, we will expect follow through tomorow, as it is a postive move tomorow that will deliver profits to most accounts, then Thursday will be for profit taking.

Our stock pick against tomorow is FLMN a double edged sword high dividend plus probability of capital appreciation. 1st Profit target will be 20% (a stock like this may not deliver big gain quickly)

STOCK PICKS FOR 7 DEC 2021

Bearish trend dissipating, we want to see a jump above 15,491.36. Today is looking better for the bulls !!! $KOS 1st exit target is 4.58.

Sitting down and taking record of the money we have transferred to metaverse products and marked to market value, our net position is now -ve 3.65% (whereas the platform showed a profit of 2.23%, why the disparity, we exited some losing trades at a total loss of about $12, the platform seems to have wiped off this loss as we were out of the product entirely). We need to keep record of our trading in terms of what we invested/money transferred and what we have taken out. It seems the platforms may not give us the correct position without having a separate record of the money we have committed to the market. On the whole we are still happy as prior to Friday we had real profit of $70 and with the bulls back, this is achievable again.

I am very sure that more NSEMPA guys will join us here soon, the Nigerian stocks are bleeding. Even on the long term, global stocks are better only few Nigeria stocks will continue to pay dividend for the next 20years non-stop (the likes of Coca-Cola, PFE plus some others have achieved this on the Global side, plus risk of fraud is minimal for Global stocks). This why this is the real forum and we just need to do all that is necessary to ensure our longevity.

HOW DID THE SECTORS PERFORM AS AT YESTERDAY?

The sector performance is a reason to start today with some smile.

LIVE MARKET UPDATE 6 DEC 2021
As at time of this post there was a slight improvement in the markets, Thanks to the reduced fear in the OMNI Covid virus. We should note that we cannot go all out to buy yet on the stock side, we should come back to the market gradually. For example review of LCID showed good support at 42.78 still lower than current price as at time of this post, we should be mindful that news is controlled by the big money to make the small traders take the wrong decision, if you see news saying bulls are back, know that we still have to wait for things to improve further before we can dive fully into the market (let us keep our emotions at bay).

On the metaverse side, the situation is gradually returning to normal, For example our portfolio that showed a net loss of +7% at one time over the weekend is at - 4.1% as at time of this post (learnt the lesson of need to be taking profits from time to time, if we had taken 50% of our highest profit, we would have bank $35 or withdraw same). Again we will say that we are saved by the fact that this industry is coming up with too much bullish news in the background. Sand/Mana/Enjin are in good buy zone.

On a final note we need to take note on the categorization of the various metaverse products, Understanding this categorization is important so that we can do effective diversification which is similar to having a balance diet when talking about nutrition.

STOCK PICKS FOR 6 DEC 2021-UPDATE[/b]

On NASDAQ 14898.90 is good support level. With dollar rising/oil still having resistance ahead in the short time frame, bearish market may continue, but if we want to buy!!![b] $BTU is our pick for the day (one of those stocks close to a support level, I may chose a dividend paying stock at this time as falling prices have created high yield like KNOP,AMZA etc), our entry will be around 8.90 which is lower than the current price, we start with small quantity so that we can buy lower if it fail to bounce at the support

For the 1st time our metaverse portfolio is in loss position is in a net loss position. Naturally it is a worrisome situation (our personal fund is at stake here), but looking as the fact that we are getting involved at the start of the industry counters whatever worry we may have equally these are products that have no limit on their daily movements.

STOCK PICKS - PLAN FOR MONDAY 06 DEC 2021
The market is retracing too fast, we need to allow our target stocks to hit support before buying. This is a time to monitor our portfolio to see where indecision have made us to suffer some losses. For now we wait on the sideline till things settle down. On NASDAQ 14898.90 is good support level.

Unless something unusual happens over the weekend, we are likely to see the bearish move continuing. Therefore, we need to go for quality stocks if we want to buy at all, and we need to reduce our quantity to enter the market gradually with the hope of benefiting from dollar cost averaging.

The bears equally hit the metaverse products. But here we are not afraid, we will see what will happen by Monday. if you have not bought any metarverse product it is not too late, it is a way to diversify our portfolio. Hearing anybody talking about computer today will always have something about metaverse in it. This area will definitely deliver, we will continue to follow up as it unfolds.

With VIX very high, there is still fear in this market, picking bottoms is risky, we want to wait till Monday afternoon before making any buy move, NASDAQ Composite index closing above 15,482.30 is a good indication that the market will likely return to bullish mode.

Market still unpredictable. A time to go back to the drawing board.
Today we are not adding any stock to our portfolio, we are watching our current positions.

There is likely to be some recovery today looking at falling dollar and brent reaching strong support level, plus the metals recovering too.

Market is in an unpredictable zone. We need avoid buying at high point where stock is extremely overbought.

WHY ARE SO MANY STOCKS THAT ARE ON TROVE NOT ON CHAKA?

The non availability of so many stickers that are available on Trove/Chaka is becoming too much.

Chaka need to do something on this as for those of us who uses the 2 accounts, it is possible that I only have tradable money in Chaka, and if want to buy NRXP (currently under assessment) it will not be possible. And unfortunately I do not want to move this money to Trove at the moment.

Market is down, although today is a 50 50% day for bulls/bears, but the bears have the upper hand looking at the rising dollar plus the current chart pattern. We need to switch to risk off mode. For any buy screener, we need to incorporate value criteria.

Bears are still around, our play should be guided by industries that are recovering from corrections and be willing to take some heat. Tech/Energy are good hunting grounds. From what the futures prices/Dollar Index are showing, except something exceptional happens latter in the day, we may see a big bear in the market today. Thus, we may take it that the holiday continues, we keep our cash to wait till next week. $ITCI is our stock for today as per our trading system 1st target is 10% from opening price today.

On the metaverse side, the prices are retracing too, but this is opportunity for us to look at buying more around support/cheaper prices. One of the factors responsible for the fall in this class of assets is the monthly options that are expiring today, so there is nothing unusual and no reason to panic. Also, we should know that the metaverse products should also be treated as a portfolio, therefore diversification is necessary.

WE JUST NEED TO FIND A WAY TO ENSURE OUR LONGEVITY IN THIS MARKET

I never imagine the development of METAVERSE will revolutionalse investing like this. For the 1st time I can see my total portfolio showing green. And to test it, I sold one METAVERSE product and moved the money to another one. I am so exited with the market and the hunger to get better is now greater than before.

Nevertheless it is our plan to ensure that more traders/investors become profitable. We want to be a terror for reds in our portfolio. One of the ways we can do this is to ensure that we trade stocks that are in uptrend, trying to pick bottom is dangerous. To assist with this we will do a youtube video on free charting set up we can use to know if a stock is worth buying or not (when I give a set of stocks to buy, you use this set up to know when to or choose a better stock out of many alternatives).

LIVE MARKET COMMENT 23 NOV 2021

Another down day in the market, 15290.31 is the next support on the NASDAQ all share index.

We do not need to panic, our stops should be doing the job they are meant to do (except for our long term trades, if we have stocks like PFE, LCID,TSLA etc), get us out of the market when things turn South, it is automatic (for those of us using trove, we need to go through our old orders, some old stops which were not triggered may start going on, to avoid selling shares you do not wish to sell you need to go and cancel those old stop orders, or else you will just start seeing money in your wallet suddenly, when the condition for those stops are no more relevant).

What I love about the Global stack market are the opportunities. The metaverse side are still doing well if you you know what to look for.

Definitely we need to avoid buying breakout for now, it will be pure FOMO, we should buy only at strong support points, with prices retracing some dividend paying stock should now be cheaper.

Personally on our portfolios, it is consolidation time, we want to have very few stocks that we will monitor very closely. In this market, having over 50 stocks is easy, but managing them without a software may be difficult. We are moving back to the "Scientific Trading Style", few equities and we follow them very closely. This is what i like about the metarverse/NFT side, we will concentrate on just 5 items or maximum 7.

For the rest of the week, there will be no rush to buy any stock and we should reduce the purchase to lower quantity than we use to buy. This a time for the slow and steady traders.

The reality of the market is that if you do not want to spend small money on tools/information that will improve your odds of winning, the market will make you pay 100 times the costs of the tolls/information (very pathetic but true). This is from my practical experience, the tools cost money but our trading was better and justified the investments in tools/information which are not free.

Big opportunity in metaverse/bitcoin intersection providing big gains ($SAND SUSD). $RLX is our stock for today due to advancing on heavy volume (ourselves we are window shopping, no trade today).
