PREMARKET UPDATE/USE OF PREMARKET FIGURES/THIS PLACE CANNOT BE DULL OR STOPPED

The premarket tells us what the stocks are trading at before market opening. We can use it to know what will do with some of our stocks after market opening. For example if you see a sudden big gap up in a stock you are holding (and you know that stock is like a biotech stock for example, which can rise suddenly and equally lose the value soon), you can plan to take profit/part profits, equally if a stock you are holding has a big fall premarket and you already have some profits, you can tighten your stop loss.

Extract of some premarket figures are shown below. The fact that there are no familiar names there is no need for worry the likes of NIO, HOOD, IONQ, RBLX, TSLA are also early gainers in the region of 2 to 4% range.

On the brokers issue, the local APPS seems to be handicapped by the unfriendly Government regulation, unfortunately for the local Apps, the world is a free market, if they are not meeting the Customers expectation, other international Stockbrokers are ready to get Customers from any Country. My only preference for local Apps is that they are reachable, if there is anything you can visit their office/take other steps if things are going the way you do not expect as a Customer.

I checked an America broker site https://www.tradezero.co/, we can check the reviews online to see if they are good.

Wishing everybody profits in the market. We need to be in high spirit, there is too much money to be made in Global Stocks and we will continue the fight to ensure our longevity in the market. for the seemingly unknown stock that are big gainers, I have just decided that I will ignore them an d just face my plan (for the moment, I want to take note of the metaverse, EV, plus some dividend paying value stocks, but the dividend paying stocks will be at the background as little gain should be expected from them)

In my next post I will talk about why we need to be weary of taking some people serious, in this forum and other places. Do you know that some people who have been paid will promote fraudulent schemes? Let us be careful, soon you will be seeing adverts for a bitcoin product - something like FINOKI INU everywhere in Nigeria, some influencers have been paid to promote this (if you are tempted to buy such a product that will be highly promoted, you need to exercise caution)

CURRENT STATE OF THE MARKET/UPDATE
Today looking like a bearish day should be expected at the close of the market. There is no need to worry as the medium term trend is still up.

We need to be committed to this market and be ready to share practical ideas.

Currently the Metaverse/Bitcoin products have intercepted and this has opened up another tremedious opportunity to make big gains in the market soon. To avoid big story, RBLX is currently in a buying zone among the metarverse stocks. We are following up on the others.

Then for our local apps, probably they need to merge as Nigeria is an unfriendly climate especially for small businesses. The reason for saying this is looking at the products Passfolio hasand these our Nigerian apps do not have is a big handicap for the local apps. I am saying this in light of our stress tests on these companies, will continue to give updates.

For long term, LCID/TSLA are still good, but we will avoid buying Lucid today (the stock need to retrace), as it is near a double top location.

We just need to trade our plan, but let our risk protection be in place. Our stops should be able to get us out of the trades if the unexpected happens. $FNKO is out stock for the day.

I just feel I should post here, there is money in the global stock market. I realise that even if we make mistake (that is if you have learnt the ropes) you can still make money, there was a stock I sold for a loss of 25%, but today that stock would have made me over 25% profit. That stock was GOEV

MARKET UPDATE 16 NOVEMBER 2021
Market will always tell us what to do. All my stop loss triggered and I may likely get out of more trades if our system tell us to get out.

Opportunity to move to inflation proved assets/wait for better opportunities as discussed in our whastapp group.

This is the time to know good traders/investors. It is a pity another set of investors with shallow knowledge are likely to have their investments depleted. It is a case of if education is expensive, ignorance is more expensive than education.

Most of our trades are basically swing trades. We buy existing up trends or strong supports as indicated by our trading system. We sell if the stock is retracing to protect our profits. For few positions in terms of strong stocks we hold long term (but suffering loss is not our style). Long term holdings are the likes of LCID, MARA, OPEN, BPMP, ORC etc but for any purchase once we are in profit we will not let our profits turn to a loss.

TRADES I AM LIKELY TO TAKE ON 15 NOV 2021
You need to have a plan for Global stock trading. Looking at my plan, I may not stick to dividend [paying stocks due to the low volatility and the fact that when the market falls all stocks suffer. However, I will force myself to hold some high dividend yield stocks like the MLP, Business Development Coys (BDC), Strong Blue Chips, Closed end Funds (CLM, CRF type).

Today I will likely cash out from CLM/CRF, monthly dividend is good, but if my capital gain in 3/4 months has given me the dividend yield for 8months, I can get out and then buy again.

Today among stocks in our watchlist we have bought FNKO (this is a stock in an industry that is coming up, metaverse related). Still considering some others MJ,SKIL,GRGW etc).

We need to free ourselves from the buy and hold mentality in a time like this.

STOCK PICKS FOR 05 NOV

Trend still up, we need to follow our plan and action to protect our portfolio against the downside. Today we are watching the market/managing our portfolio, no new stock.

We are adopting a slight modification to our system due to the fact that some previous strong stock are becoming weak. Also the list of gainers is coming up with so many unusual stocks. This is one of the things I learnt from NSEMPA, once you see the unknown stocks making up the bulk of the major gainers, something unusual may be developing in the market. US/GLOBAL STOCK TRADING IS SWEET

Is it more profitable to trade US stocks or Nigerian stocks?

Please what is the disadvantage and advantage?

If you have direct access to US stocks I say invest most of your money in $$$ and maybe 10% in NSE for future flexing whenever you go Naija.

If not, then it depends on your exchange rate.... I heard the rates being peddled by some of these fintech companies is borderline Benin/Ore expressway robbery.... Like they charge N600/$ when you're buying and when you sell and want to cashout they offer less than N450/$.... I guess it makes sense if you never plan to sell. You also have to consider other risks like middleman business. Stocks purchased are most likely not purchased in your name, so if one CEO decide to chop people money, it is a possibility.

I am investing in both Nigeria and global stocks. However, after tasting the Global stock side, I prefer the Global side compared to Nigeria stock as I can trade stocks of most countries in the world (at least you have a choice of +4000 liquid stocks against +80/90 liquid stocks on the Nigeria side).

On the exchange side, if you do not have your own FX, you will buy at bureau de change rate and as we know there is a spread in buying fx as the APP do not use CBN funds (this has always been the case). Using Trove as an example you will buy USD at NGN577, and sell at NGN560, spread is approximately 3.04%. Personally this is reasonable. All you have to do when calculating your gain is add 3%. Thus, if I make 20% gain, and I decide to pull out my money, my net gain is 17%.

To avoid a lengthy message, whoever needs further explanation can DM me. But in concussion I will say, I am for trading Global stocks for ever. The Nigeria market is just limiting myself to investing in 1 country only, Global market I am diversify across nations ( SNP- China Petroleum Ltd, EQNR- Norway energy Stock, BPMP - America Energy Stock if you like call it European etc).

On not having stocks in your name, probably a mail to the APPs can explain this. All I know for example is that if you do wire transfer, you money goes straight to the account of Drivewealth Stockbrokers (the main Stockbroker handlng transactions for most of the APPS, you can check SIPC website for Drivewealth + further research if interested). I cannot imagine how Mr. Ade Chukwuma will send money to Drivewealth and drivewealth will buy shares which Mr. Ade Chukwuma paid for in the name of Mr. Trove. It looks not just possible.

COMMENT/STOCK BOUGHT AS AT 1 NON 2021
Anothet good day for stocks. We bought DNN/OPEN. The 2 stocks based on our chart analysis.

DNN is not available in Chaka, as usual Trove is like the standard for stocks availability. I wonder why Chaka is finding it difficult to add all these stocks that one can get in Trove to their platform too. At least they must have bee seeing our comments and both are affiliated to drivewealth.

These are the 2 Nigerian APPS I am comfortable and happy to use despite the fact that they are not perfect, but I can still give them a pass mark. They respond fast if you have any issues, but you need not be stingy with sending mails.

I WANT TO TAKE SOME PROFIT ON LCID IF THERE IS SUDDEN SPIKE TO $45 AND ABOVE

Today I have put in a limit trade to sell part of my LCID at $45. Why?

One of our indicators is telling us that between $45 and $48 upward momentum may slow down.

We will buy on retracement again when our indicator tell us that strong upward momentum to higher level will resume.

My decision to sell at this price is dependent on the price getting hit today ideally. If the price is not hit, I will change to trailing stop.

We have the tactics to handle this market, join us on continue following us and make money .

STOCK PICKS FOR 01 NOV

Tug of war for bear/bull. Dollar at inflexion point. OPEC meeting may be a catalyst for bulls. $PLTR is our stock today.

STRESS (HOW EASY IS IT TO GET OUR MONEY OUT) TEST ON CHAKA/TROVE
The resent upward move in the market allowed some of us to take some profits.

Getting our money out of chaka/trove was very easy.

Conclusion: both apps passed our stress test. You can withdraw your profits without problem and there is money to be made in this thread.
