Agriculture › Go Local; Affordable Fish Feed Pelleting Machine by Yommiefish(op): 1:57pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
There is no better time when farmers in Nigeria need to maximize their profit than NOW. The Cost of fish feed has skyrocketed but the Price of fish is still at large static. Smart farmers aren't quitting, they are only challenged to looking inward for possible and affordable solution. Since 'tough time never last but tough people do', they believe everything is working for good and that the time to embrace and patronize our local initiative that has remain untap for a long time is Now.
As part of our mission to help catfish farmers to '..maximizing their business experience' through relevant knowledge. I saw this feed pelleting machine that is working wonder with a friend and I decided to share it for the benefit of all
1. Imported 2. 520kg/hr 3. Efficient Petrol Powered Engine 4. Below N100k
Don't fall victim to counterfeit, drop your inquiry on our whatsapp or mail me. (check my signature) on how you can get it. Pls no calls.

Agriculture › Re: Pig Farmers Lets Meet Here by Yommiefish(m): 8:27pm On Apr 26, 2016 |
bugativeron: My 10kobo advice to those who wants to go into piggery. I have been reading the comments here for sometime. But I think I should put in my advice now. Some comments here are hilarious and do not depict reality. However I will try to list somethings that I think should be done.
1. A pig farmer is first a cost manager, if not your expenses could run beyond ur plan and u cant stop at that point. 2. 80% of ur time should be spend to drive down the cost of ur feed. Research online for chepeast source of food and combinations that gives best yield. 3. The greatest challenge you will get is cheap source of protein for ur animals. Remember even humans in nigeria do not have enough protein not to talk of animals 4. Start small. This can never be over emphasis. It is not about ur cash availability rather it is about learnings. You definitely need to learn. But why do you want to learn with ur entire cash. The man that wants to start with 25 sows you need to watch it. Do u have enough experience to handle such. If 25 sows gives birth to average of 5 that gives you 125. Do u have d experience to handle such numbers. When they turn to grower cost of feeding will nearly drive you mad. Also without experience u may loose majority of them. 5. Go to a training school or do attachment somewhere. You cannot leave ur business in the hands of some other people who will tell stories that touch the heart because you dont know. Lagos state government had a 3month training school in oko oba that is not costly but allow you to manage it with ur other activities.
6.specialise in pen design. Cost of construction of pen is also one of the things that drives farmers mad. Go online and research cheaper method of construction buy picture books online that teach DIY they are readily available just Google it. Amazon used to deliver books to me in nigeria some years back and they are very cheap 18dollars or so and it gets to u withing 3wks. Do it yourself cos cost is important. I saw the pen design posted by someone that is a costly way to build pig farm. Imarging if you have 2000 animals how many of such will u build.
7. To manage cost or to be efficient and get rich thru piggery requires you to run a large pig far. Cos the energy and time invested in running a farm with 200 animals will not be much different from running a farm with 2000 animals but the cost saving different is huge.
I hope I have made a bit of sense with this my posting. Remember ur goal is to be an elite farmer not backyard one. I do hope he values your advice. |

It was my staff that first saw the bird. I thought it was one of those birds but to my amazement, it was a rare birds which the Benin people call "Sughusughu". So maybe the Benin people can enlighten me more on it. I was tempted to kill the bird but I decided to trap it being the animal lover I am. Though am still waiting for it to turn into a human as generally believed by some natives. More updates on it later.

Nairaland General › Pastor Broke His Silence On US Presidential Candidate Donald Trumph. by Yommiefish(op): 8:16pm On Feb 26, 2016 |
As the father of three daughters, I reserved
the right to interview their dates. Seemed only
fair to me. After all, my wife and I’d spent 16
or 17 years feeding them, dressing them,
funding braces, and driving them to volleyball
tournaments and piano recitals. A five-minute
face-to-face with the guy was a fair expectation.
I was entrusting the love of my life to him. For
the next few hours, she would be dependent
upon his ability to drive a car, avoid the bad
crowds, and stay sober. I wanted to know if he
could do it. I wanted to know if he was decent.
This was my word: “decent.” Did he behave in a
decent manner? Would he treat my daughter
with kindness and respect? Could he be trusted
to bring her home on time? In his language,
actions, and decisions, would he be a decent
guy?
Decency mattered to me as a dad.
Decency matters to you. We take note of the
person who pays their debts. We appreciate the
physician who takes time to listen. When the
husband honors his wedding vows, when the
teacher makes time for the struggling student,
when the employee refuses to gossip about her
co-worker, when the losing team congratulates
the winning team, we can characterize their
behavior with the word decent.
We appreciate decency. We applaud decency.
We teach decency. We seek to develop
decency. Decency matters, right?
Then why isn’t decency doing better in the
presidential race?
The leading candidate to be the next leader of
the free world would not pass my decency
interview. I’d send him away. I’d tell my
daughter to stay home. I wouldn’t entrust her
to his care.
I don’t know Mr. Trump. But I’ve been
chagrined at his antics. He ridiculed a war hero.
He made mockery of a reporter’s menstrual
cycle. He made fun of a disabled reporter. He
referred to the former first lady, Barbara Bush
as “mommy,” and belittled Jeb Bush for
bringing her on the campaign trail. He
routinely calls people “stupid,” “loser,” and
“dummy.” These were not off-line, backstage,
overheard, not-to-be-repeated comments.
They were publicly and intentionally tweeted,
recorded, and presented.
Such insensitivities wouldn’t even be acceptable
even for a middle school student body election.
But for the Oval Office? And to do so while
brandishing a Bible and boasting of his
Christian faith? I’m bewildered, both by his
behavior and the public’s support of it.
The stock explanation for his success is this: he
has tapped into the anger of the American
people. As one man said, “We are voting with
our middle finger.” Sounds more like a
comment for a gang-fight than a presidential
election. Anger-fueled reactions have caused
trouble ever since Cain was angry at Abel.
We can only hope, and pray, for a return to
decency. Perhaps Mr. Trump will better
manage his antics. (Worthy of a prayer, for
sure.) Or, perhaps the American public will
remember the key role of the president is to
be the face of America. When he/she speaks,
he/she speaks for us. Whether we agree or
disagree with the policies of the president, do
we not hope that they behave in a way that is
consistent with the status of the office?
As far as I remember, I never turned away one
of my daughter’s dates. They weren’t perfect,
but they were decent fellows. That was all I
could ask.
It seems that we should ask the same.
