bottomline is your claim that nigerians invented the term international passport is not credible and it is based on one commentary you read. which does not tell us HOW this conclusion came about ,

just google the phrase international passport and tell me how many of the results show nigeria.

stop embarrassing yourself, mr man and admit you never knew the word pronunciation exists. . . .
you said. . . . .

you said. . . .english university graduates you have met say pronunciation and it doesn't exist.
if they said it, they meant pronunciation, not what you think you have heard - pronounciation!

don't tie yourself in more tortuous knots.
the verb pronounce probably confused you and you thought the noun would be spelt pronounciation.
anyways, the correct spelling of what you have been hearing your graduate mates say is pronunciation.
It shall be well with you,  May God continue to bless you for in the Bible Mathew 5:9 it says “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God' (Apologies if you are not a christian or if you don't believe in God)

please do not be sstupid?? i said pronounciation DOES NOT exist as a word deliberately NOT BY MISTAKE.  does ithuh

simple question are PRONUNCIATION and PRONOUNCIATION the same thing

are  08033453434

 08032453434

the same phone number

if i say one number does not exist and you supply another that does what is you point
if i say nution does not exist and you say nation does does that make you clever
the simple point i was making was a subtle one so be quiet

“Are you hearing me?”
“What is it by your time?”
“Can you hear that smell?”
“I’ve returned it back”
“Reverse back”
“Please help me to shift”
“It's a serious something”
“She gave birth to a male son” ----- A MALE SON?
“Keep space for me”
“Raise up your hand”
“Give me small more”
“Come and start going”
“Let’s be going first”
“I will soon slap you now”
“They’ve taken light”
“I came to your office and met your absence”
“Just face your front”
“Go and buy me cold minerals”
“Yesterday night”
“She and her mother don’t resemble”
“Off your phone”
“I’m finding my pen”
“Come and be going”
“Why are you siding her?”
Babes I go sue you o!! My rib still dey pain me since I managed to stop myself from laffing  grin grin

Headmaster don't point me to wikipedia when it comes to establishing facts!! Send me any link that describe the word International Passport as we use it in Nigeria!! Have you ever heard an English man say I have my International Passport? Anyone can edit Wikipedia page at any time and put wrong info on it
Music/RadioRe: Fake American Accents On Nigerian Radio & Tv! by YoruIgbo(m): 9:37pm On Sep 15, 2011
The reason why people struggle to understand us is not because of our accent it's more to do with our use of English!! For example In Nigeria we say ''I just got my 'International Passport' so I hope to travel tomorrow''! Anyone who is not from Nigeria will surely not understand what you meant by International Passport grin Another example, ' I was the one who disvirgined my wife' Disvirgin means nothing to an English man and many other Nigerian English numerous to write here
Don't get me wrong I'm part of this Naija English but I'm getting better grin
RomanceRe: inlove by YoruIgbo(m): 6:13am On Sep 15, 2011
erica33:
i met my boss just a few months back. he was very professional, kind-hearted, and very funny guy. 2 months after he became my boss, i felt something for him. maybe it's because he always held my hands when we were sitting together when we needed to discuss something. at first, i didnt give any meaning to that. i was thinking maybe he was just naturally sweet. and there was no mention of anything personal between us. whenever we get back to work after the weekend, we greet each other with cheek-to-cheek. one day i was really surprised of my feeling after one cheek-to-cheek. my heart beat faster. i started fantasizing him (he was not physically attractive, though. he's fat and dark, but with perfect hygiene. he looks and smells very clean!!!).

then one day i decided to leave the office and be transferred to another department (of the same organization) where i was really good at. he agreed to that and he even conviced me to do it asap. on my last day in the office, we bid our "goodbyes", hugged each other and again, that cheek-to-cheek. after the cheek-to-cheek, we couldn't take our faces away from each other. we were breathing so fast. then when i couldn't take it anymore, i grabbed him and we kissed. a very passionate and very unforgettable kiss. we let go of our emotions.

after that, i kept visiting him in the office. some people were wondering what was i still doing in his office. but no one of course dared to ask me coz they know that the boss and i are close. the relationship went deeper snd we had a very intimate encounter. but that intimate encounter was realized because i insisted on it. he had inihibtions coz he's fat and dark and that his "pet" is "premature". i told him i don't care about it. i love him and i love him for who he is.

i know how busy he is, coz he's the boss. he rarely has a time to talk to me even on phone. we see each other once a week in his office (after offcie hours). and whenever i ask him when will be the "second round", he has a lot of excuses, that his cousins always visit him at home, we cannot go out because people might see us, etc.

when i told him i'm resigning soon, he was at first surprised and i saw him blush. after many days of discussion about my transferring to another organization, he even helped my do my cv, consulted him for my employment offer, etc.

Now my question is, does he feel d same way for me? we love each other's company, but he is always so busy to talk to me even jsut for a minute. he's a Muslim, and i am divorced. do u think i should start forgetting him? my love for him goes deeper everyday and i feel so crazy if i don't see him/talk to him in a day. i send him a lot of messages everyday but i only get 1 or 2 replies from him.

please advise me. thank you.
OP are you telling us a Jerry Springer line? How do you want people to believe this your long story, yeye!!! Abeg fabricate another story this one no follow

$tunna:
okay people, lemme see how to put this so as not to get attacked, aiight! The people on your TV and Radio y'all complaining about, becos you think they sound like americans actually only sound american to yall and they sound perfectly nigerian to those of us who actually live in america!

let me explain why this is so! take those of us who came from nigeria to live in america, when we speak to american born fellow americans, they still pick up that we have a nigerian accent or some kind of accent, but as soon as we step into naija and open our mouth, yall in nigeria hear american accent!!

while technically its very possible to learn to speak with an american accent without having been to america, i doubt your TV and radio presenters ever do so!

i have seen a few of your home movies and none of the performers ever have any american accent, so all they try to do is to speak clearer and gbamm just like in secondary school when u try to speak correct english and people attack u and say too much grammar or u speak to police on the streets and he gets offended and say dey there de speak grammar oga!! maybe y'all r just hating!?!

just saying,

please to understand what i mean, look on youtube for 2face visit to the Monique show or D'banj visit to MTV and u can see clearly or hear clearly that none of your stars have any american accent, ! hope this helps
You lie!!! Very Big Lie,  Are you saying in Nigeria we don't know the difference between Eddy Murphy and Jim Iyke? Hey what is all 'this your, that your' in your story? abi you no be Naija? people like una wey roast cocoyam chop for Naija once una travel una go begin claim oyibo  grin grin

In Nigeria we have only 2 marital status cheesy i.e. Married or Single so as far as most Nigerians are concern so long as they are not Married they are single not withstanding whether you have a girlfriend or not.

So the question should be why are you not in any relationship? I know some of my friends in Nigeria that have girl friendssss and yet they still call themselves SINGLE
PoliticsRe: What's The Advantage Of Being A Nigerian? by YoruIgbo(m): 3:55am On Sep 13, 2011
Another advantage is Nigerian Politicians can marry underage e.g. Yerima and ask big question like 'is not against the Muslim law' even though he is a Nigerian law maker
PoliticsRe: What's The Advantage Of Being A Nigerian? by YoruIgbo(m): 3:03am On Sep 13, 2011
The advantage of being a Naija:
1. You can save some money living in the UK without light and surely won't feel it because we are used to UP NEPA!! (Never Expect Power Atall-atall)

2. You can have driver's licence without knowing where to put key in a car, Even a blind man in Nigeria has one

3. If you have the money, you can employ driver, cook, gardener, gateman, Ekaite to back up madam when madam is temporarily unavailable

4. You can graduate from University with 2.1 but still can read and write properly because with money you will pay people to read and write on your behalf

Those are the few I can remember
