Former Aviation Minsiter, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode calls out ndi Igbo who are members of the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, stating that they need to have his or her head examined. 

Fani-Kayode on his Facebook page, Thursday, responding to Tim Elombah of Elombah.com who had asked: “Chief Fani-Kayode, some Igbos in the APC said that it cannot be true that Buhari said what you claimed he said about the Igbo because he had an Igbo running mate as VP on at least two occassions. How can he hate Igbos if he had an Igbo running mate twice in the past?” said it is only now that the Yoruba wing of the APC are really getting to know him and his evil cabal and they are all crying behind closed doors. They regret supporting them during the 2015 election deeply.

“Tim, please tell them to go and watch the video again (scroll down and see below). I stand by all that I said there. I do not lie. They were not there but I was. 
Did they expect Buhari to run with another Hausa Fulani or another northerner as his running mate in 2003, 2007 and 2011? 

Most of these people that talk like this know nothing about this man. They have not even met him one on one. 
They are just corridor boys and girls. They don’t know the type of person Buhari is. 

It is only now that the Yoruba wing of the APC are really getting to know him and his evil cabal and they are all crying behind closed doors. They regret supporting them.during the 2015 election deeply. 

Any Igbo person in the APC needs to have his or her head examined. Such a person is a confused soul who has been conned and who has sold his soul to an Igbo hater, a radical islamist, an ethnic supremacist, a religious bigot and a racist. You say he chose an Igbo man as his running mate in the past and my answer is so what? 
He did so because he was looking for votes and not because he loves them. Next you will say he has Igbo Ministers in his cabinet forgetting that the constitution compels him to give each state in the country, including the Igbo ones, at least one Minister. 

He has not done the Igbo any favour by giving them Ministers or making their sons his running mate twice because that is their due. They are entitled to it and their votes and support was badly needed. 

He did the same for the Tinubu group in the SW in 2015 but now that he is ill and out of action look at what his group are doing to Osinbajo, Tinubu, Baba Akande. Look at the humiliation they are subjecting the Yoruba wing of the APC and the VP to. We warned Tinubu and co. that this would happen but they would not listen. They were misled and they gave 51 per cent of the Yoruba vote to Buhari in the 2015 election whilst we gave 49 per cent of that vote to Jonathan. Now they are crying. You say that Buhari loves the Igbo yet his security forces and military have killed and locked up more Igbo leaders and youths and marginalised more Igbos at the Federal level more than ANY other Nigerian President or Head of State since the civil war. 

He loves Igbos so much that he has not arrested or prosecuted ANY of the well-armed, well-funded and well-organised Fulani militants and herdsmen that have gone into Igbo land in the last two years and killed thousands of people, burnt their homes, raped their women and stolen their land. 

He loves the Igbo so much that out of the two key positions that have been given to southerners in the Presidents team in the Villa not ONE of them has gone to an Igbo despite the fact that the Igbos constitute such a large number of people in the south. 

All the numerous other key positions in the Villa are in the hands of northerners and only two key posts were given to southerners. Of the two none was given to the Igbo. Is that love for the south and particularly the Igbo or is it contempt and disdain? 

This sort of ethnic domination and northernisation of the Villa has NEVER happened before and it is shameful.
I worked in the Villa for 3 years and I know how it works and how things are usually balanced between north and south and the six zones. 

But this is not the case under Buhari. For him only two key positions in the Villa, that of Femi Adesina who is Sp. Advisor on Media and who is from the South West and Ita Enang, who is Sp. Advisor on the National Assembly and who is from the South South, are the ONLY southerners in key positions in Buhari’s Presidency. 

No Igbo man is good enough for him to put in a key position in the Presidency and the popular refrain amongst his inner circle and his little cabal is that Igbos cannot be trusted. Everyone knows this. They dont like southerners generally and they despise the Igbo particularly. 

The Igbo that are in the APC that do not know all this and that cannot appreciate the shameful and primitive disposition of Buhari and his inner circle are simply ignorant or deluded or both.

They are also hungry and desperate for the few crumbs they will get for betraying their oen people and selling them inti slavery and bondage. 

It is sad and pitiful and those that have done this should bow their heads in shame”.

Governor Ortom for Benue state is Not Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state, @OP

While carrying out a 4-day crackdown operation on drug dealers in India, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Delhi Zonal Unit, India has nabbed a Nigerian, Odonga Chukwuebuka Stephen, 38, a South African and four others some of whom are a nationals of India.

The Bureau also, confiscated narcotics substances worth Rs 12 crore in the international market.

The list of arrested persons include a Bolivian woman, two Indian women and a Nigerian man, all part of a Cocaine smuggling syndicate operating from Bolivia, a South African man carrying 440 grams of Amphetamine and a Bolivian man who swallowed 50 Cocaine pills.

In two cases, the Adis Ababa drug route, was used to smuggle the drugs into Delhi, while in the case involving the South African man, the Amphetamine was on its way to Australia through the Gol Dak Khana post office.

According to the Deputy Director General (DDG) (North Zone), Taj Hassan, the first operation took place on May 12, when the NCB officials intercepted the Bolivian Soleto Justiano Fernando, who had reached Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport via the Ethiopian Airlines.

"We had credible information that Fernando was carrying a consignment of Cocaine with him. When the NCB officials searched his bag we did not find any trace of the drugs. So we made him undergo an X-ray scan at Safdarjung hospital," said Hassan.

After the X-ray examination, it was found that the accused had swallowed 50 pills of Cocaine, weighing 500 grams. He was on his way to Goa to deliver the consignment.

In the second case, on May 15, the NCB officials busted a gang of women drug mules. Acting on inputs, the NCB raiding team arrested a Bolivian woman, Fernando Rengel Grageda (20), who had reached Delhi on the very same day and booked a hotel in Paharganj.

"The team mounted surveillance and found that she was going to hand over the drugs to an Indian woman. Both of them were arrested after the exchange took place. We recovered 3.2 kilograms of Cocaine," Hassan said.

The Indian woman was identified as Lhingpinchong alias Shilpa(28), a resident of Senapati District, Manipur. Shilpa told the NCB officials that she was supposed to hand over the Cocaine to Sanali Khan (41), who was also apprehended along with a Nigerian man, Odonga Chukwuebuka Stephen (38), the owner of the consignment. The investigators had interrogated Fernando, who claimed that she was paid 4,000 US Dollars by a Nigerian contact based in Bolivia, Nagreta.

"Our officers have communicated this development to fellow drug enforcement agencies in Bolivia," said a NCB source.

The last drug operation was undertaken on the very same day, when the NCB officials had arrested a South African man, Franklyn R Zodwa with 440 grams of Amphetamine from Gol Dak Khana post office. He was sending the drug consignment to Australia via post. It was also found that he was involved in a previous drug case in Australia and the concerned authorities have been informed.

Pure wickedness in display here as the young man pictured here just identified as Emmanuel, was left blinded in both eyes after a member of his community identified as Wike Ugonna allegedly attacked him with acid during a land dispute at their village in Atani in Ogbaru local government area of Anambra State on May 10th.

Reports say Emmanuel's family had approached Wike's family to use a part of a land they use for farming in their community but the Wike's family turned down their request. This created a friction between both families.

On the day of the attack, Emmanuel was said to be working on another person's farmland when Wike approached him and allegedly poured acid on him and also cut him with a machete. Wike is currently on the run.

He began his career in Blogging about three months ago and has organically built his site to about 3k Page views in a day with total site users at 6k.

He had mistakenly applied for Google Adsense when he hadn't built his traffic earlier on, and Google aren't showing signs of approving his request soon even though he has more contents and the site has very much improved.

Being hit by financial constraint, he is seeking for alternative sources of income to help keep up with bills payment.

A Day ago, a friend introduced him to Propellerads, and advised him to use the platform for now, pending the expiration of 6 months when he said Google could review his Adsense request.

The friend said Propellerads was a good Ads placement media giant that would pay pretty well. But my friend is apprehensive in the sense that Google frowns at an applicant using another Ads company while the person has request with it.

Pls, my guy is in deep dilemma, someone who knows about these stuffs should pls, help out. An Abuja-based renowned Lawyer and Human rights activist, Osuagwu Ugochukwu, over the weekend, fired warning to the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, against forcing people to sit at home on May 30 to mark the celebration of Biafra Day.

Ugochukwu also, advised IPOB and other pro-Biafra activists not to take the laws into their hands in their planned bid to force Igbos and non-Igbos to stay at home on May 30, 2017.

According to Daily Post, Ugochukwu said it was totally wrong for the group to force people who do not believe in Biafra to stay at home and stop motorist from moving in and out of eastern part of the country on May 30.

Recall, IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, had issued a statement asking its members to observe the stay at home exercise on May 30 and remember their fallen heroes.

In his reaction on Sunday, Ugochukwu warned IPOB against provoking the Nigerian government and the military, stressing that it would be better to fight for a course within the ambit of the law.

He said, “Nobody is against your belief in Biafra and nobody is saying you should not exercise your rights in promoting your Biafra ideology. But in doing so you must not breach the laws of the land.

“The call by IPOB to all markets, transport companies, schools, banks, companies, civil servants, petrol stations, okada/tricycle unions, park management, artisans, National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and Drivers Welfare in Biafraland, to shut down on that particular day in honour and remembrance of our fallen heroes and heroines is unlawful. This is a threat to Sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Nigerian Constitution.

“The laws of the land allow for freedom of movement and any attempt by any group including IPOB to force people from freely moving will be treated as treasonable , breach of public peace and confrontational which the Military and other security agencies would not take lightly.

“IPOB has no right to restrict movement of persons and vehicles on May 30 as it is against section 41 of the Nigerian Constitution (as amended) which provides that Every citizen of Nigeria is entitled to move freely throughout Nigeria and to reside in any part thereof, and no citizen of Nigeria shall be expelled from Nigeria or refused entry thereby or exit therefrom.”

The activist urged IPOB to follow the path of Igbo apex social cultural group, Ohaneze, which had been agitating for better deal for Ndigbo within the ambit of the law.

Nevertheless, some have criticised Ugochukwu, stating that his argument is baseless as the IPOB never forced Ndigbo to sit at home but only asked its members and other lovers of and believers in Biafra to stay-at-home to mark the celebration.

A 43 year old Nigerian, Egemonye Chrsitian Chinedu, has reportedly been nabbed by the Malawi Police at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA), Lilongwe, on Monday afternoon, May 8 for alledgedly attempting to externalise US$7,000 (MK5 million), hidden in his hand luggage.

KIA Spokesperson Sapulain Chitonde said Chinedu was found with the Nigerian Passport number A05010761, revealed he was arrested inside the Departures Lounge at around 13:00 hours, as he waited to board a Nigerian-bound Kenyan Airways flight.

Speaking with the Maravi Post, Chitonde said Chinedu was physically searched by Police Officers manning the check point, and the said amount of US$7,000, was discovered.

He added that Chinedu failed to provide evidence from authorised Forex dealers, when he was asked to show supporting documents.

"To his defence, Chinedu said he got the money in Tete Mozambique, where he operates a clothing shop. He claimed that unspecified officers at the border (Mozambique, Malawi), told him not to worry about the cash. He said the advice made him to overlook the paperwork process, because it implied that there would be no problem to travel out with it.

"Currently, the suspect is in Police custody, and is expected to appear in court, to answer charges of illegal possession of foreign currency, and attempting to externalise forex. The police at KIA are appealing to the general public, to buy or exchange money, at designated foreign exchange facilities, to avoid similar incidents,” Chitonde said.

Chinedu has been living in Tete, Mozambique, for the past three years.

Abia state Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu secured victory at the supreme court today, Friday, over the case filed against him by his contender, Mr. Uche Ogah on alleged discrepancy in his certificates.

The Governor who immediately after the court, verdict issued a statement, thanking God, Abia state people and the Judiciary for making the victory possible also, declared he would give open arms to those he said had been distracting him from doing his job with the court case.

His supporters have responded by taking to the street to celebrate his victory in branded T-Shirts, holding banners and placards

An ugly incident occurs in Abia as a wife reportedly stabbed her husband to death at the early hours of Wednesday 10th May.

The ugly incident took place at NO 4 Aguatta St off Omuma Rd Aba, Abia state.

According to Kiglsey Uche who shared the message on Facebook, the cause of the incident has not yet been ascertained with many of the indigenes thronging to the scene of the unfortunate.

The issue has not been taken up by the Police as at the time of this post.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, Monday, paid a courtesy visit to the Eastern Consultative Forum (ECA) in Enugu state.

Nnmdi Kanu was was received by the vice president of the assembly Mary Okwor, Professor Elo Amucheazi, Uko Elliot, Reverend Father John Odey among many others.

Recall, the former president of the ECA, Okwor, had relegated her seat for the Kanu and took the position of the vice president.

Kanu paid a courtesy visit to the group in appreciation of their efforts towards his release The group in a statement had said that the IPOB leader was appointed the president of the group in recognition of his achievements in the South-East.

Two months ago ago, Kanu was appointed the president of the ECA, a position vacated for him by the assembly's former president Mary Okwor Kanu who was released after a year and six months in detention has also visited many individuals and group including the deputy senate president Ike Ekweremadu and a former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode. IPOB leader was appointed the president of the group in recognition of his achievements in the South-East.
