This is an overflogged matter. If only you would search the thread. Hmmmmm. adosjun: Good day family,
My wife certificate is in her maiden name and I am about creating a WES profile what name should I use as her international passport has my name.
If I am using her maiden name, should I attach marriage certificate to it.
Please advise.. |

You are one of the people that won't read. If you did, this question will be totally unnecessary. Damn!!! omidan21: Hello guys I wanna ask just one question just one simple question , I don't ve IELTS yet and I don't ve WES evaluation yet, but I heard that one of the criteria for selection is also the longer you ve been in the pool. So can I go ahead to create a profile for myself without the IELTS especially then when I ve finally gotten. It I edit and input scores. Or is it that IELTS has to be ready before I create profile at all |

Ottawa is where all applications are submitted. Then, they distribute to the different VO's. I doubt Ottawa will keep your file for this long. Anyways, you're almost there. balogunsam: When i sent the inquiry initially, they told me Ottawa o. I'll ask again. |

My candid advice for you is, be anxious for nothing. Have you got any ADR's? Please that's the VO's note. It doesn't require you do anything. Meanwhile, since you are Jan AOR, I believe your PPR is around the corner. Relax man. balogunsam: Elders that used one year nysc experience, what documents apart from work reference letter did you provide? My GcMs note pointed out i only submitted work reference letter and they couldn't confirm the institution (government school). Another note there was work experience different from course of study in school or something like that. What do you advice i do considering this? Inputs welcome please.
Cochtrane, threadstone and other elders kindly check. |

I viewed this thread and the pictures, i couldn't help the tears. Yes, I wept for Nigeria. Where did we go wrong in Nigeria? What is happening to this country? If you've seen some of these airports live, you'll understand why i'm crying. Sometimes, i feel Nigeria may cease to exist. (God forbid.). It is well. |

The decision to go to Canada as a student or PR is entirely your choice. I'll advise you to weigh your circumstances and decide. If you choose the PR route, you'll get enough guidance here. Just relax. All will be well. Ejadike: Good evening everyone... Please, I need your advice, because I have been nursing this idea of traveling to Canada. What I wanna know is, how best should I move? Is it with student visa(I don't have any sponsor yet) or should I apply for PR then work and sponsor myself through school over there? I have an HND(upper Credit), would it be relevant in furthering my education over there with? I'm just confused cos I really need to leave this country and make something out of my life. I don tire for bank Marketing.. I'll appreciate every contributions. Please, help a poor guy with any little bit of info so I can kick-start. Thanks |

I agree. Although I did one because the valid ID's I have are all in my maiden name including my International Passport. Newmum0615: One and the same person affidavit is not even necessary. All she needs is her marriage certificate, newspaper publication and affidavit for name change due to marriage.
@sadsad: Being married is a good enough reason for a woman to change her name. IELTS won't ask you for any doc, neither does WES (except you just want to give them) WES will indicate that you have different names on your credentials whether or not you send in your marriage docs. You only need to provide those docs during eAPR. |

The name on your international passport is what you should use. Someone here explained that, post ITA, you will have opportunity to put in other names used. Meanwhile, you will also need to depose to a ''ONE AND THE SAME PERSON AFFIDAVIT'' sadsad: Thanks to everyone who have been answering questions here to help newbies. Congratulations to all those who got their PPR this week.
Please how do women fill the forms? Maiden name or current surname? Considering women get married & the names they bear on their school certificates might be different from the International Passport. Especially if the woman is to fill the form as the Principal person |

It's not only back home. (Let me not mention my country too. LOL). I left my bag in an Old Navy store in Los Angeles say for about 15 mins before i remembered and by the time i remembered and located my bags, my DOLLARS(hard earned for that matter) was gone. I still cry when i remember the incident. So just so you know, you were lucky to have your bags intact. It has nothing to do with your country alone. Sapphire86: ..... (cont'd)
I got carried with the deals that I forgot my bag at the shoe section (yes, careless me ). It took a while for me to even remember (don’t abuse me please ) and when I located the bag, EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING – my dollars, dirhams, passport and even phone were still intact! Now, I don’t want to think of what would have happened had it been it had happened back home (I don’t feel like mentioning my country; let me still be loyal) but these residents in Dubai are real legit mehn! I really couldn’t believe my carelessness or even foolishness but in all I thank God that HE got me! It really was time to leave the mall after that incidence. |
