All will be well. It's not easy when you face hostility at work. However, i advise you to wear a smile on your face all the time, pretend as if the problems don't exist and when your PPR comes, you'll have the last laugh. It will definitely end in praise sooner than you expect. Osaze007: Thank you I’m facing too much hostility at work and I really want out I’m trapped on a work visa and I can’t wait to get to Canada so I can live a free life it’s daunting and made me transfer aggression to all my friends |

From you profile you must as a matter of fact be the principal applicant (PA). You're younger and your law degree will assessed by IQAS as a professional degree.(notice the bold). Your grade is immaterial. However, you being the PA is dependent on whether you have work experience (1 - 3 Years). Again, make sure your IELTS score is up to an acceptable level. 8777 in LRWS or more. I wont advise your husband to cancel the WES application. It will just add more points to your crs score. Start your evaluation with IQAS immediately. It takes more time than WES. uche13: Good day all. Thank you for the good work so far. I took time to read good portions of parts 1-3 and this but I will be grateful if my question gets answered.
I am 32 years old and a lawyer and hubby is 36 and an Engineer. We both have no Masters. I felt he should be the primary applicant because
1. My university grade is not so pleasant though i made a 2:1 in law school (I don't know if it is a factor) 2. It would be easier to get his transcript from unilag than my school in the East with the attendant logistics.
So he registered with WES yesterday, paid and got the code, he has also paid for the transcript with his school today.
i stumbled on a post here now that a law degree is given the same score as Masters and they advised the lady who is a lawyer to be the primary applicant. I also discovered that with my age, I should be able to gain higher scores than him.
My question is that is it possible to cancel the WES process he has started and get a refund? If i am the primary applicant, will he need to verify his certificates with WES later in the process to justify the WES expense incurred?
Answers will be appreciated.
Thank you |

Osaze007...you've been on about this your matter since Part 3. (At least that's when i noticed.) Do you want to shed more light? If not, I'll say relax and leave it to God. HE is more than able to handle it. Trust me when i say leave it in God's hands. HE will never leave you nor forsake you. Go and sin no more....LOL v3: Not at all. It actually made me laugh, to be honest. I've been on this forum long enough to know that certain people get off on trying to get under people's skins.
Again, thanks to everyone who chipped in. Reading through. |

@doppler06 thanks for the article. Canada is very particular about prior criminal status of immigrants. Meanwhile, I'll advise all of us to take the article very seriously. Misrepresentation is a very serious offence. Let us not assume its only about prior criminal status. It could or may be misrepresentation on other facts. Lets be guided. doppler06: Congrat of your CPOC cutezain
Just saw this interesting article on Canadavisa and thought to share. Talk about a classic case of "sins of the father" https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-blog/2018/04/canadas-daca-moment.html
Nothing pays like getting it right from the beginning. Imagine having to misrepresent today and then 10 years later (after buying house and car and gbogbotigbo) and starting a family, they now overturn your PR status. You and your children (or in this case just your children) will now start from Level 0 all over again.
Our patience will be rewarded in the end |

Some people are using style to use agent's services without paying. Meanwhile, if they pay for agent sef, it's not all questions agent will answer. I'm happy some people are available to help them. Left to me........ Newmum0615: Our newbies, please read oooooo. This journey is not for the faint-hearted and impatient. There is no wuruwuru to the answer here. Information is power. Page zero has almost all you need to get ahead. Too many basic questions these days. The thread will soon reach 200 pages.

If you're in the US on a visit visa and you are now an overstay, you MAY not be able to obtain Canada PR through express entry. The reason i say this is, unless you were legally admitted for one year or more it is immaterial whether you're now an overstay, you can apply. For this, i don't know whether to treat legally admitted for one year to mean the US visa itself which is for 2 years or if it refers to the CBP stamp which is usually 6 months. (I'll advise you do research on it). For medicals and PCC etc, i can assure you that, you can do it from any country provided it is the designated hospital. For PCC i know people in the US without status who have obtained US PCC from FBI without issues. If i were you, i'll advise you to proceed with the application, you may be lucky. Every case is different. ddshow: Hello peeps! I'm enmeshed in a little dilemma.
Just got ITA but currently in the states with my wife and kids. My plan is to stay permanently here (without my wife's consent cos she's totally anti-immigration).
My concern however is that will it be possible for me to file all documentations including medicals from here or I'll have to cross over to the country as this was where I filed from initially?
Anyone with similar experience should please share.
Thanks. |

Veleta. Veleta. Veleta. How many times did i call you? veleta: @Jemulsboy,you shouldn't have applied for Canada TRV,your ties in U.K. aren't strong enough.Hope your PR application is water-tight.Nigeria now has a very bad reputation as far as CIC is concerned.Hope the VO assessing your application will be thorough enough to notice that you had submitted your PR application before you you got the TRV denial. Best of luck in your application |

The transcript must go from your school to IQAS. It must be in an envelope sealed across the flap. As in school seal. I sent hard copy of my documents along with my transcript to save cost. I do not think IQAS accepts soft copy of documents. @Ethelia...please assist us. tonyik: Am i supposed to send a photocopy of transcript along with my certificate? Requesting for my own copy of transcripts from schools (2) will be too expensive. WES need only a copy from school and my softcopy certificate. Do IQAS accept soft copy documents? |

There is no such thing as desktop computer. Abeg I no pass IELTS, I cant begin to argue. fizzile: A desktop is a working area such as the desk in which you have your computer, while a desktop computer is a computer specifically used in a desktop. That is why it is called a desktop computer. Very soon somebody will come nd ask me why a laptop is used on that working area. Yeye arguement. |

Don't have their e mail. However, I believe this is their twitter handle #modeducation KINGTELLER: Like I said, I need the email address of IDP Australia, all this rubbish about EOR not getting to British Council/IDP most stop by fire by force. In the EOR form-7 it is clearly stated that a senior IELTS official will review the script and award mark, that is why British Council EOR is remarked and most often than not there is visible changes and upgrade. However, MOD is suppose to forward their candidates EOR to British Council or IDP in United Arab Emirate (which I believe is their reporting center), could it be that these Arabs are conniving with MOD to fleece student NGN 46k? |

If you have spare cash, I'll say request the remark. KINGTELLER: I'm scared, I'm contemplating seeking a remark with MOD/IDP for my writing which is 6.5. L-8 R-8 W-6.5 S-7.5
Anyone here in this forum that has gotten favorable upgrade with MOD writing score? If it is true that MOD don't forward their EOR to the British Council/IDP headoffice as contained in their EOR form... Na me go spoil their market.... I will post it glaring to the whole world to see the kind of fraud they are committing

You are to enter your email address in the fields provided, a code will be sent to that email. Enter the code provided and fill the application online. After payment, it will give you access to download the form which you will sign and submit with the IQAS-ECA-Checklist.pdf alongside other documents. Except I am not the one understanding you. I'll advise you to go the IRCC website and read up what they accept as POF. ayxmania: Hello fams, please I have a question. I'm expecting 3.5m from someone which I would use as my PoF. My company has a Corporate Account, and I have a good rapport with the CEO and also, the Accountant. So what if I tell the person to pay the 3.5m into that account, and they in turn pay into my account? Then, in the letter they would issue me for work experience, they would say I requested my salary (after tax) be kept for me till I am ready to immigrate? Then, I'll also add a LoE to support the fact. That should be straightforward, and save me the stress of having to do a Gift of Deed, or should I just have the person send to me directly and have a Gift of Deed done?
