Beaf: Bigot, I bet your compound is who you are describing. Let jealousy kill you. lol Yes, the oppression and marginalisation of the Egun minorities will need to be addressed by all, including you.
Like GEJ, like Beaf
Olodos. Is this what they taught you at Olashore? Or is it Adesoye?
You probably skipped school for the creek during English classes. Now, it has caught up with you. When we tell you to never rely on 'expos,' you thought we were being unnecessarily harsh.
Beaf: You are a breath of fresh air on NL! The supremacists have reacted almost violently to arguments that Egun people have no relationship with Yoruba and are not in the least bit. They argue that you are a Yoruba subgroup, even though they cannot understand a word of Egun. When I provide videos, they get irate. The only way to explain that is that there is a mindset to forcefully assimilate Eguns (perhaps, by deprivation), even though Eguns were first to settle in Lagos and have a very rich history and culture.
Dude, we'll give you strength here on NL, because we have enough academic material to frighten all bigots.

Bring it on Byytch
As long as no one is 'begging the question,' it should be fun
gokuu: The forum is for SW People not yorubas, i'm SW but egun and we are not yoruba, @yemmight: pls can u tell us what OBJ brought to the SW for 8yrs in govt? How come we have sold all our lands to the igbos yet we cannot buy in the east? If u've been to alaba, u'll notice that the igbos are shop owners while yorubas/hausas are carrying load, is that not imperialism? Before PDP, what did we get 4rm AD which is now posing as ACN? Patricia was given SW slot and she went to steal the whole Abuja? Pls be objective in your analysis!
item: Maybe you have forgotn that the life of the country is in the Igbos.
Ediot
The Yorubas control the Banks, Media ( we control what you hear, what you see, and what you dont want to hear ) , Oil wells, Education and government ( GEJ still takes directions from Ota, I lie?)
The things Igbos are in control of are Kidnapping, yahoo-yahoo ( debatable though ), delusional thinking, Okija-Shrine, spare part importation, medicine adulteration, and taking instructions from their more prosperous big-brother, the great Yoruba race of SW Nigeria .
Hausa people control the Military, and Almanjiri-ism, they still depend on the Yorubas for strategy and policy.
ND people safegurad the 'oyel' wells for the Yorubas.
Up Yoruba people Up Yoruba Intelligentsia Up Awolowo Up Odua land
Thank God I am Yoruba Thank God, I am not Ibo/Heebo/EEbo
Lagosboy: That is why we need to infuse ideologies into our political parties. We need to form a real progressive group with a clear ideology which we have to impart into the minds of the people to change their thinking. When we get into govt we need to add this ideology into the subject of "social studies " in primary and secondary schools, our state universities will have a compulsory general course to teach this ideology. in 15 years we will have a new set of emerging young professionals with a changed mindset to that of our parents.
I personally dont see any party today with a clear ideology. ACN does not have a clear ideology , CPC does not either but to some extent we can pin point anti corruption and some policies to them like "elimination of state of origin and replacing with state of residence" which i agree with. PDP is the worst because its known ideology is looting.
We need great minds to move things in Nigeria , great minds who can also play the dirty politics of Nigeria and not guys like Utomi who remain aloof from the grasroots. Great minds who can inspire the streets, speak the language they understand to them in order to chnage their mindset for the better.
You talk a lot, but know very little.
I stand corrected. ACN has a clear ideology, they have the same outlook as AG. The ACN policy was formulated by the late Bola Ige. The problem we have here is that all the parties, and Yes, including PDP, have the same approach to politics and economics, two different things. If you have ever read or listen to Awolowo, and/or Bola ige, you would understand my point.
That you do not know what ACN stands for nor what CPC stands for is very unfortunate, going by your passionate and aggressive defense of Buhari on this forum.
I reiterate, ACN has a clear ideology. The problem is that our Journalist and so called learned people have failed us all. They have failed to force the parties to speak more about their approach to government, politics and economics. They, the Journalist, whether intentional or otherwise, have also failed to explain to us what the parties stand for. They have failed to draw sharp differences, and, when applicable, similarities among the parties.
You come across as an air-head who talks just for the sake of it. Teaching ideology in social - studies class? what the phock are you talking about? How old are you BTW? ( No offeinse)
Odunnu: Was Goodluck the President in 1991 when I watched as a young sch gurl my classmate's house go up in flames with the entire family in the burning house and my mom and I had to walk/run on dead bodies to be secure. Was GEJ president in 1995 when my father's cars, house and my eldest sister all got burnt in another crazy out break of riots. My daddy stil has scars frm matchete wounds he got in one of such outbursts In 1983, my family stil tel the sordid story of maitatsine's violence! Relax buddie, you voted right. Sacking that minister was in the rite direction. Every average Nigerian knew the northernerz would revolt,it was the duty of that office to nip it in the bud. I believe strongly that the positive change we so desire would be heralded by GEJ
Sorry to hear that Odunnu
Wish I could hug you right now. I do mean it Odunnu.
ekt_bear: Are you serious, or joking? Why are you taking shots at my hero (Clinton)?
He is good peeps.
Man I didn't think there was a black person on earth who dislikes Bill Clinton
Of course, until he made the fairytale statement!
Anyhooo, this news is stale and opening a thread for it is just pointless
Ileke-IdI: I dont care if Bill is good peeps or bad peeps.
For Lagos', a state known for being dirty because of overpopulation and disposal methods, to be recognized for its disposal development is a good thing.
Point is, Lagos is cleaning up.
Hey, ileke, do you even know what they are talking about here?
Seriously, this is old and pointless. I wont take you up on your erroneous assertions. I find them funny though.
Hey man, I aint stopping you. Please yourself; after all, it is part of your culture. Clifford orji the second. Clifford Orji = T A Orji = Custodians of Ibo culture.
