The beauty of Nigeria lies in theory. Too many laws, but they are know followers. Alas! The powerful constitution has become weaked, and the onced well structured judiciary in a shadow of itself. Court houses has taken on a forlorn looks. Simply because justice is riding a snail, causing travesty. Court orders are being flouted. Lawyers collude with judges to make perpetual, sinister adjournments, and lots of other factors. These, and among many other reasons are why corruption continue to be the nations' national anthem. The era of things fall apart is over, what we have now is ''beyond apart... colonialism has come and gone, but instead of enjoying freedom, we are still suffering under another yoke called neo-colonialism. But, no problem, we shall meet in court, where they would be no lawyers but only the judge. No counsel for defence but only the prosecutor's counsel. |
