The Cannon Law specifies a process of through which a bishop is selected or appointed. The priests and laity's concerns is that the process was thwarted and a bishop was imposed on them.

The matter is deep, its expected that the hierarchy of the catholic church in Nigeria should have done justice to the issues before it went out of hand.

Those who fight injustice should not have received condemnation.
Nairaland / General / Re: Ambode Declares Second Lekki-epe Expressway Toll-free by ZE: 10:00am On Jun 22, 2015
This is cheap publicity. the second toll gate has been free since LASG lost the case in court. Ambode should channel energy in completing the road project.

Most importantly, Create alternative route from VI to Ajah to ease the heavy traffic on the road and build a fly over at Ajah round about.

Enyeama is a great goalkeeper, he deserves a national award.

But an award from the federal republic of nigeria is weightless, the award worthy of a fine goalkeeper like Vincent Enyeama is in the "LAND OF THE RISING SUN" ... The promised land

IGBO-SON:

^^^Just want to get you properly: are you saying that Buhari and the Nigerian army should not be accused of crimes against innocent little Biafran kids b'cos 'Ojuku' was a greedy man that led us into war?........therefore they (the little kids) had it coming?; and you'd relish seeing it repeated?

Your take on who's greedy and who's not is laughable considering Ojukwus' position at the time as the son of one the wealthiest black Africans; juxtaposing this fact with the stupendous wealth of some of the main actors in the war from the federal side! The likes of Abacha, Danjuma, A. Abubakar, Babangida, Obasanjo, Yar'Adua........of course this lot are anything but greedy, and took part in the war for selfless noble reasons!

Obviously you're unaware of the Aburi Accord; an effort made to avoid the civil war, and which was fully subscribed to by all parties......until Gowon got back to Nigeria that is! You do realise that this same accord that was rejected by the owners of Nigeria is what people are saying we should revisit today (including your own kinsfolk)?; how then can you with a clear conscience say that Ojukwu was a war monger that started the Biafran war?

How do you reconcile your obvious hatred towards Igbos with your support for a war in which you could have been freed from the very people you despise?; or do you feel you can't manage 'one Nigeria' without us? wink

The fact of the matter is that you're a neurotic twerp.......and one with a void where your heart is meant to be! Hitler ain't got nothing on you dude! wink

How can anyone being honest with themselves not understand my position with regards to the state of affairs in this country?; here we have someone (Murtala Muhammed) that killed my kinsmen (young boys) in cold blood, yet not only is he feted as a 'good' Head of state, but his face adorns our national currency, and he has the nations pre-eminent airport named after him! And someone comes up, pats me on the back condescendingly, and says: 'move on mate......let everything remain swept under the carpet....... grin one Nigeriah bruv innit!? grin

PS- You've still not proved your earlier assertion on the crimes of the Biafran army (or individual Biafran soldiers) on innocent civilians and kids!

@IGBO-SON why waste your intellect on the senseless and idi-otic swine called eye4eye

Politics / Re: NIGERIA BRAKE-UP: Nigeria’s Amalgamation Expires In 2014 by ZE: 4:38pm On Sep 18, 2013
Kindly confirm the part of the story you doubt:

1. Do you doubt that amalgamation of northern and southern protectorate was configured to last for 100 years after which the parties involved can come together and discuss the marriage. this can be researched further if in doubt.

2. If actually amalgamation was to be experimented for 100 years, do you doubt that the decision was documented?

3. If it was truly documented, who is in custody of the document and why has it not been made public

4. Why has there been renewed call for SNC since the approach of 2014/2015.

5. What do you think is the brain behind USA prediction of 2014 brake-up

Nigeria’s Amalgamation Expires In 2014

The amalgamation of southern and
northern Nigeria by the British was to be experimented for 100 YEARS to know
if it’s going to work or not, according to the secret government document the
British left after independence.

Although the document is kept secret,
this fact is generally known to the ruling class, most dons of political
science and law as well as the government of UK. However, there has been
consistent efforts by Nigerian government to keep this knowledge out of
public as it may lead to agitation for breaking the country into two i.e.
pre-1914 status especially by those in the south.

The awareness of this document and
the closeness of 2014 has been causing panic among the Northern elites; this
panic was behind the recent comment by the senate president that Nigeria will
not break up.
It was also behind the warning by NBA
president when he said in Benin this week that Nigeria may break-up. Even
pres. Jonathan is nervous about this fact; remember that he kept on saying
that Nigeria will not break-up. Also, it was the real reason behind the
northern governors recent security meeting in Kaduna, according to some
sources.
All these sudden talks about Nigeria
breaking or not breaking up by the political leaders including the president
show how anxious they are about the implications of the document and the
closeness of almighty 2014. On the international scene, the knowledge of this
document was behind the prediction by American diplomats that Nigeria will
break-up in 2015. The US army is also preparing on how to respond to the
possible break up of Nigeria.

IMPLICATIONS OF THE DOCUMENT

1. BY 2014, NIGERIA WILL NO LONGER LEGALLY EXIST
2. NIGERIA WILL BE BACK TO PRE-1914 STATUS OF TWO STATES OF SOUTHERN NIGERIA
AND NORTHERN NIGERIA BOTH LEGALLY AND TECHNICALLY, ALTHOUGH THE RULING ELITES
MAY IGNORE THIS REALITY EXCEPT THERE IS REVOLUTION FROM THE PEOPLE.
3. PEOPLE OF SOUTHERN AND NORTHER NIGERIA MUST COME TOGETHER TO ENTER A NEW
AGREEMENT UNDER THEIR OWN TERMS.

all4naija: You should stop fooling around with biased information. All Nigerian villages have primitive buildings back into time.

This image below is probably sourced from the city.

How many villages have electricity in Nigeria while all the building posted so far seem to have power cable. Bwahaha...

It's obvious we are not at the level of sharing unnecessary argument. silence would've been the best answer to retards as you appear to be.
