@ op. forget that so called dilema. the woman wanted to get pregnant @ all cost. she knew what she wanted thatz why she told you b4 hand that she is not considering abortion. a married woman who have guts to keep another man friend was a flirt when she was single and chances are that she had committed abortions b4. she should confess to her husband and face the music. |
this could have been after school or during holidays. don't forget that most kids who grew up under this condition come out tops in adulthood compared to most bread and butter kids. Dangote who is the highest employer of labor in nigeria almost started like this. personally i do not encourage this but if its the only means of survival for those families, its better than armed robbery, prostitution or allowing those kids die of hunger. I've seen so many places on top of lagos bridge where a woman and sometimes up to 4 kids all begging alms on top of the bridge. on a closer look you will discover that they are not physically or mentally deformed. compare the 2 scenario and tell us which should be encouraged. |
thanx to algeria, history will remember them for saving the innocents |
total rubbish. turning facts upside down to suit his campaign. i wonder what his congregation prepares to listen to when they get up on a Sunday morning to go to church. This so called pastor has totally derailed from the teaching of Christ. A state of emergency need to be declared if there is anything called church council in Latter Rain |
please can chimpanzee/gorilla sorry i mean Ileke-IdI upload one of her/hs pix. lets compare it wit Stephanie's house help |
Greenslim: ZE: omaojo1:do you want me to explain it in your native language? |
Greenslim:CBN did not allow them to do that |
@ deji, you do have a point. Gadaffi is a great leader history and of course libyans will not forget. on d other hand, Gadaffi would not have allowed this issue to degenerate to this stage. power belongs to the people-he shoud have handed over and sit back to play an elder state man's role in libya |
@ Lawyer(SANl) well done as always. you are a very reliable fellow. Keep up the good work. please remember we still have one unfinished biz, that land you promised to help me gazette. |
you shd be in church now |
BTW: Celebrate with me, my eldest son gained admission to the University this September (He had three options to choose from as his college results was outstanding!). It could not have been possible if his Mum had 'bailed-out" when the going was tough for me! But that period is 'history' now. One day l will give a son out in marriage, a worthy son for that matter. My prayer is that God of heaven will provide for him, his own wife, one that will stick with him, through thick and thin, afterall, life is not a bed of roses!

@ lastpage congratulations!!! you are a product of your parent's hard-work |
now i see reasons why a lot of people don't support their loved ones to marry a woman from a broken home(apologies to the 0.5% good ones). people produce what they see/end up becoming what preoccupied mind while growing up. a leopard can hardly shed its skin. no matter how you wash/clean a pig, no matter the beauty of the house, a Pig's eye will definitely be on the gutter. From the comments here one will clearly point out the kind of home and upbringing people come from. @ OP a lot has been posted so far. you asked for advice n here they are. my question: WHAT'S YOUR DECISION?? |
@ MOBO999 and LAGOS1976 You people should use your emails or Facebook and stop all this rubb.sh |
@ OP i hope your case will not be like that of Lovely( + some retired but not tired Italo prost.itures). After working out on your husband/your marriage when the going is v rough for him(remember we've not heard his version of the story). He hammers 5 yrs down the line and decides to re-marry(M.J.) pls don't come back to nairaland and brandish your worthless paper marriage certificate to appeal to our emotion. Be v sincere and answer this question: which tribe are you and your husband from? i don't want to mention names but it seems this scenario is synonymous with some cultures in nigeria-marry today and run away tomorrow. i don't want to mention names. one more question: b4 you people got married(or during your courtship), was your husband jobless? If he was: were you comfortable with it then? if he had been gainfully employed b4 he married you, where and how did things start going wrong. |
@ op amebo or whatever u call ur self, You have been at the fore-front on every issue concerning Mercy J, her private life and her wedding plans. you've left me wondering !! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? I'd concluded you are Lovely until you publicly denounced it. If you had channeled one quarter of the energy you expend on nairaland to tarnish MJ's image towards reconciling Lovely and Odi since the past 5 years(their so called marriage exist only on a piece paper) thing wouldn't have degenerated to this level. I assume you know lovely and Odi too well, please educate us(with concrete evidence) on the efforts lovely had made and has been making in the past 5 years to reconcile with her husband. honestly i feel irritated when some1 leave his husband/wife and cling only to a marriage certificate. |
My 1st choice is Oge 2nd choice is 1st choice 3rd choice is to obey 2nd choice 1st |
okunoba:A true Igbo man struggles for himself and his family, does not wait for government, amnesty, the rich, emirs etc to spoon feed them. When you depend on the rich for your daily bread- the rich will give you food and demand something in return. |
Someone called to find out if I've heard this latest development. Could this be mare rumor? |

i believe a married woman should endeavor to hold-on to her marriage/husband NOT worthless paper(marriage cert). If the woman is still interested in her marriage why did she abandon her husband since d past 3yrs and she's fckin around( from italo to canada) the guy should take all the blame. when he discovered that his wife is fckin around he should have taken steps to annul the marriage officially b4 making arrangements to marry a public figure like Mercy. i tire for women who marry only certificates. |
just want to find out !! does fura-de-nunu entoxicate? buhariiiiii might have taken an overdose |
peace5050:Children are God's gift/blessing and God showers his blessings to mankind when and how he pleases. In the same vein God had perfected his creations from the beginning. for example God created sodium(Na) and chlorine(Cl). if a scientist mix sodium and clorine under normal circumstances and in the appropriate proportion he should get sodiumchloride(NaCl) not ammonia. God created life and death and urge us to choose life so that we may live. you cannot choose death and still expect to live. We are concerned about those who had uselessed their reproductive system in one way or the other and still use all available means to manipulate themselves into marriage. |
what happened to HSMP UK govt started 10 years ago is it not the same thing? |
tollu:your Bible reference is handicapped(not complete) remember God told Adam and Eve ''to go and increase and multiply and fill the earth'' God's reason for sending Eve to Adam is very clear to understand(even to a kindergarten). even your girl friend/boy friend is a enough company if that is all you want in life. |
a guy i know closely met a woman. during their courtship the woman insisted no sex b4 marriage she was going to church every morning and evening, pretending holy holy holy. the guy took her by her word and decided to respect her principles. they went ahead with their marriage plans after the multi million wedding the guy started noticing funny things in the house. to cut a long story short: upon close observation and detailed medical examination it was discovered that the woman had lost her fallopian tubes when she was playing ojoro in the university. personally i fell marriage before pregnancy is the best(traditionally, morally etc) at the same time i believe the principal reason GOD constituted marriage is for PROCREATION. except we fail to tell ourselves the truth and refuse to acknowledge the truth when others tell us. with what is happening in nigeria today, it is very difficult to trust any woman who is not a confirmed virgin. QED |
there is a general saying in Igbo Land !! if bride prize prevent a man from marrying a woman of his choice in Igbo Land it means that the man is not yet ready for marriage. Marriage in Igbo land is serious business. its not marrying today and separate tomorrow. a real igbo woman marries one man i her life time(except death) in cultures where most women marries up to 4 or 5 husbands in her life time, their men knows it will be a waste of time spending money when taking a wife. knowing fully well that the woman can wake up tomorrow morning and pack her loads to another man's house. my point is if a man want to buy pure water or groundnut, =N=5 is enough. Marriage cost more than N5 in igbo land. if u no get liver !! gerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrooooout |
those guys are stack illitrates , we are not a nigerians what a totology!! anyways, i trust Julius Agu, Holy Mallam, Nigga Raw, 2Face, Idril Abdukarim etc etc They will retaliate. |
while i'm happy for the guy for thinking it wise to invest in his home state but i feel, 1. that the project is over hyped(marketing/publicity strategy) 2. what meaningful development can a hotel bring to a community(from the article he portrays himself as a philanthropist/humanitarian). You need to see how young girls and university undergraduates troop in and out of these hotels @ night. 3. Owerri zone need more of industries, factories, skill acquisition centers, free trade zone etc. 4. the total number of hotels in owerri is almost equal to the number of residential buildings. Hotel aka-ikpa aka-iri (try and look for a standard 3 bedroom apartment in owerri and you will be shocked @ the rate/annum). we still have a long way to go, |
make una no vex ooo, Did Karen do breas-t implant? just wondering why d thing look so big and firm as well. |
