Mohammed Ibrahim Ogbanago, a security guard who works at Nigeria’s top financial company, United Bank for Africa (UBA), has received recognition for returning a sum of $10,000 to the bank.
Ogbanago, who works at the bank’s branch located at Oba Akran, Ikeja, Lagos, reportedly found the money in the premises of the company.

Surprisingly, he decided to return it to the bank management.

This has earned him the attention of UBA boss, Tony Elumelu, who took to his Instagram to say nice things about him.

Elumelu wrote, “When I heard about this story, I knew I had to meet the man who despite facing rising petrol & transportation prices and “tomato ebola” returned such a huge sum of money without recourse to himself.”

“It was a pleasant surprise to hear him tell this story and about how he came to be in the board room with us. Even more surprising was hearing him speak about his passion for governance and integrity in leadership.”

*1st IELTS: August 2019 (I got good scores but didn’t have Masters/extra certificate, so my CRS score was 432 I was hoping to get PNP, but I never got a nomination)
*CRS Score from year 2019 to 2021 = 432
*TCF French exam written: May 2021
*TCF French exam passed: June 2021
*New CRS Score in June 2021 = 500
*1st IELTS expired in August 2021, so I rewrote it in July 2021
*2nd IELTS passed July 2021 (with higher scores than last time)
*New CRS Score in 2021 = 506
*September 2022: Moved to the UK for Masters. Original plan was to do the Msc in Canada after becoming a PR but 1 year Master’s compared to 2 years in Canada is better for me.
*ITA received: 28th September 2022
*Medicals done in London: November 2022
*Submission & AOR: 25th November 2022
*Biometrics in London: 22nd December 2022
*PPR letter received: March 1st 2023
*Passport received by London VFS: March 7th
*Passport/COPR received: March 15th

Extra Notes: I am single and in my late 20s, so I never had issues with losing marks since 2019 when I started the journey.

It’s funny how whenever I tell people my CRS score they think that I was lucky to have had a high score but they forget that I was in the pool for 3 whole years before getting ITA. My EE profile expired 3 times.

This journey is not for the faint-hearted but by the Grace of God, with your hard work and resilience. You will also give your testimony too!!!

We were made to sleep on open field in Michael Okpara Square and the next day was same story, we were abandoned to sleep on open field in our Local govt secretariat. Congratulations to all my fellow future Canadians that Got ITA and Noi from Ontario, I was also thinking i will get the Noi cause my Noc was part of the ones they picked but after seeing that the cutoff was 476 then i understood cause my CRS is 475, I hope i get picked by one of this provinces someday or FSW draws come down to 470 so i can get ITA o, My ielts result will expire by September, I pray i get ITA before then in Jesus name. Amen

The most important part of wedding is FOOD AND DRINKS.Get this right by giving a competent vendor ,who isn't related to both parties,to handle the cooking and distribution of both on your day.

Live within your means I found it insulting to borrow for wedding,or not being able to buy a car after wedding because you incurred humongous amount on wedding.
