tayoamos: can someone not get a leave of absence or something to work and gather substancial amount NOP NOP plus you cant even get a sane job because its illegal to work off campus. if you can not pay, the only option is to defer and go back to naija or you run out of status. I don't advice you to run out of status. There is something called economic hardship, I have a few people who just got it, you will get a work authorization and you can work unlimited off campus but you must have a good case for USCIS to approve you |

Amefrica: I know that right. I didn't ask if it's easier, I know for the matter of fact that it is. I was just shocked with the 99% of approval you included in the quote.
Anyway, how's it going on your end? well I am not a fan of changing visit visa, I tell people to go get the F1. but if that's what they want, they still got the chances but I cant imagine going around with an expired visit visa and piece of paper saying am valid to stay in usa. Am fine jawe. work load is been too much but GODWIN sha |

slimmy05: most times it doesn't et approved on time that is the game of luck there. It happened to a friend, so te 99% is not feasible. He applied and got delayed and his school resumed and months after before they approved his f1 visa, he had to defer and return home. this change thing must be well planned, USCIS takes 3 months to approve you. plan a good time to travel and start the processing. if you want to start classes for fall, travel in march then by may/june, your approval gets in and you can register for fall classes. simple as ABC The reason for denial is that some people apply when there visit visa is about to expire, maybe LESS one month, the USCIS can not process an expired visa because they expect you to leave the USA ASAP |

Amefrica: Zee, are you sure about this? It's easier and gives more chances if you apply in Nigeria (especially if you've visited US a couple times) than trying to change status outright when you get to US. bIKO I am not advising anyone to go with a visit visa and change to F1. look at my quote here, I was only replying the dude concerning the matter to your question, it is easier better and easier to apply for F1 from Nigeria. if you have couple of visits to the USA, then it boost your chances get the F1 visa. atleast you are seen as being honest for coming back home after your previous visit go check the US visit thread, VISIT VISA SEF IS NOT THAT EASY TO GET |

nefertitiram: All that one will be done at the airport. American airline only allows hand baggage for free. You pay $25 for the first carry on luggage, then $35 for the second. Whatever you do, do not fly SPIRIT airline! They charge for air sef inside the plane! Spirit shey that one na flight. I flew with them from Houston to Colorado, they did not give us ordinary tap water for like 2 hours flight. I love America airline, quite cheap (good leg space if you book early for the front roll )and southwest airline do not really travel to all states. |

labdej: Good day all,
Can anyone help me with information on the best option for transportation in Texas.
My wife would be going to the US with our son to have our second child. I would like to know what the best option would be for her to move around, especially for her hospital appointment etc. Intend using Dr Fagbohun in Richmond Texas.
Are there regular cabs? what is the cost implication? Can she take our first child along during those visits etc? If she will be going out everyday, which I doubt because of her condition, You can rent a car if you have the international driver's license. Renting a car cost around $20-50 depends on what type of car you pick and insurance inclusive. if she is not really going out that must then I think she should download uber application on her phone. its a cab but very cheap. The bills for the each trip will be charged to her debit card on file |

sqlerror: I am in the health sector. Whoever ever has a visit visa has nothing to fear. If you re in doubt call up ur school and ask. And if you think going through the hustle of visa interview is your best bet then good luck. I would have loved to help such people call their schools and make arrangements but i changed my mind cos some.people will see it as an agents strategy. Good luck guys in your endevours Take a chill There is no arrangement because obviously the person will be physically in USA by the time they want to change to F1, so they can go to the school and do the needed. if you have any info you want to give anyone concerning this, quote it here. in most cases 99% get approved if you apply immediately you land in USA with your visit visa |

Please, I need to ask a question about transcript evaluation. I got my transcripts from my department this morning and even though there were errors there, I quickly used foreigncredits.org to do a quick evaluation. 3.67/5.0 gave me a 3.28/4.0
How reliable is this estimate please? Thanks for your contributions. something close to that. your evaluated gpa cant be less than 3. so it is still ok |

mekula: And when I complain about these hacks we call medical personnel here in Nigeria, they are quick to respond with all their jargons. Only a few of them are really qualified professionally and psychologically. Just go round our hospitals and you would see why the rich would always fly out for medicals. Just a pity. Go to LUTH, Igbobi, FMC and you would pray with every fibre of your being never to fall ill here in Nigeria. If you still need your life, don't step in this places. they will drain you and make one die slowly. All they (doctors) is run about the hospital and trying to become the head of all departments in the hospital. they strike at every available opportunity. All the people they are killing. there is GOD. he is seriously watching. Am just pained. if DJDOLA was in USA, he could have been alive today. HE COULD! HE MIGHT! HE WILL have made it alive. |

Pasqa: My gf esperiences excessive painful menstration on the first day of her period. She cnt do anything throught that day. She lie on bed throughout unless she takes drug. My question now is "is it normal or is something wrong with her? Is that the way she will b esperiencing that pain till she attains menopause? She is just 20 Well i was lucky not to have cramps but 2 of my siblings did and this worked for them. Regular exercise and stretching Lie down and gently rub your abdomen to help relax the muscles Ask your doctor for a recommendation of herbal remedies or medicines that may relieve symptoms Take a warm bath and sprinkle rose aromatherapy oils into the water Use a hot water bottle or heating pad on your lower abdomen or back tell her to buy an over-the-counter pain reliever like aspirin, ibuprofen or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that may be prescribed for significant pain associated with PMS symptoms (for example, backache, menstrual cramps or tender breasts). |
