Can u believe that my folks asked me to stop going out or visiting people and should never talk about my visa success because of the same witches and principalities nd powers. Its well. Its better to be safe than sorry. Enemies are everywhere (lol) you dont neccesarily have to leave your house before they (witches) get you . afterall they know your name |

godG: Zeee, haba. I don't know why people hide the name of their school sha. But that shouldn't give us the licence to think they do not belong here.
I am aware of the fact that hiding helpful info here could be annoying but we should NEVER see that as selfishness or immaturity on the part of the applicant involved. See, the beauty of our world lies in the diversity of our view of things.
Let's learn to respect ourselves. The gentleman has a right to his choice. If he wants us to know the school, fine; otherwise, we wish him well, it won't affect the price of garri.
Respecting ourselves is important. Follow peace with all men. same way u hid yours. how far have you gone ? i do not need the name of his school because am already in one |

ripleus: It's not such a big deal really, so I don't know why you're taking it like this. Most PhD programs in the US give full funding. I didn't say the school is unique. My PROFILE is unique, after all the information I have said about myself here. Nobody else here is being asked to reveal their identities or give information that will make a Visa Officer identify them. There is at least one Visa Officer on this thread and you're trying to make me reveal information that can jeopardize my chances. That's what I am saying, and I really don't know what else you want. I said I'll post the name of the school after my interview. Haba. goodluck with your interview |

I will post the name of the school after my interview. I have some words i want to say to you but i will let it wait. GOod luck with you and your unique school |

ripleus: Your response is really sad. So you want me to jeopardize my chances instead of just waiting for a couple of weeks? It's not like you can even apply to the school till end of the year, so I don't know why you're hissing.
Maybe I should have just ignored the question instead. you need to be wiped. you are a selfish person. you can here to gather info and you cant help people with the info. i do not need to watever school you are because i am currently in the USA. inshort let me be plain. do you ever know if they will approve your visa. people that did same thing in the past got denied. next time, do not mention about your secret or selfish plan . keep it to yourself |

ripleus: I'm reluctant to mention the school cos they only admit very few people each year (e.g. my program only takes 2 or 3 people per year all over the world, and that's how it goes for other departments too). I'm told by the admissions office that I'm the only Nigerian this year so I don't want to say it here and be possibly identified by a V.O. - until after I've passed my visa interview. So I'll post it after I pass the visa interview, as a reply to this message. mtcheeew. |

I tot i just have to write and pass the practical nurse exam, get licensed then get a job oo. lmao, it can never be possible madam. you are not a residence. they expect you to get the degree and go back home. its so rare for any hospital for file work visa (H) for you. |

Bobority: It is possible, for example the NCLEX licensing exam for nurses to practice in USA, once you write and pass that exam, you will be issued the license and you are permitted to work with it. you can read more about it online. I stand to be corrected thou NCLEX is for those who have a BSN . the lady in question only went to a school of nursing. she has to get BSN from a nigeria uni for her to be able to take the NCLEX exam. plus you cant write NCLEX from nigeria unless your are physically in USA |

barbiee: ok. Thanks but 3 years is still long sha, anyway i decided to check out canada options online and i just discovered bowvalley college. Although its not going to get me a bsn but i can get a licensed practical nurse diploma after 16 months. @ least if i do that ist i cn start working and do an online lpn to bsn program. Im still open to new suggestions. its same thing here. getting an LVN/LPN takes one year at a community college. LPN is lower than RN or BSN. i still think you should base your search on USA |

barbiee: ok. Thanks for clarifying that for me although i am a bit discouraged with your response i guess it is time for a plan B. Maybe i should check australia out, i heard it is possible there but very expensive. Australia plan B, cyprus plan C. Thanks again. you can evaluate your current nursing transcript and try apply for BSN. some classes can be waived but am sure you will still spend atleast 3years |

barbiee: Pls i would like to ask a question abt nursing programs in u.s universities. I graduated from a 3 years sch of nursing program and was given a registered nurse certificate and license and im currently doing the 18 mnths midwifery program to graduate in september. I want to apply for spring 2016 admission to a u.s uni to get my bsc nd im confused on d best route to take. The rn to bsn nursing program is 1 year bt i hv to be licensed in u.s to be eligible for admission, the accelerated second degree nursing is for those that already have bsc in anoda field nd wnt to change to nursing, it is also 1 yr. I contacted a sch in texas nd dey said im nt eligible cos i dnt hv a bsn degree. I dont wnt to do the bsc here cos it takes anoda 4 yrs to get it, so pls wat cn i do in dis case? I dont wnt to start all over considering the fact that i hv already spent 4 nd a half yrs in nursing sch here. I nid a fast paced option to get the bsn degree. Plss i nid ur help in dis issue. Thanks. No school in USA will even accept your for BSN with your current Nigeria degree. your 3 years school of nursing doesn't count towards anything. You have a whole lot of pre requisites to do and you also need to take the TEAS to get admitted into the BSN prog in USA. They are two things you could do. come here and start all over or you do your BSN in Nigeria and come here for RN-BSN for one year. |
