HealthRe: The Death Of Traditional Herbal Medicine In Nigeria by Zetra(m): 2:49pm On Jan 06, 2017
boriswole:
African Traditional Medicine practitioners are responsible, instead of documenting their recipes and packaging their products, they surround the whole thing with superstition and fear.

It is possible that early Africans developed technology that would have been useful today for transportation or flight or energy, they would have retained the knowledge to themselves and used it to frighten their people.
we always want to be looked like gods, if it was Africans that improved on medicines we would not have any institutions for its studies, it would only be on royalty or cult kind of knowledge.
Just tell someone selling native medicines to teach / train you and you will pay them, you will hear words like "it was transferred to me from mum, or in village". When they do manage to teach you just small

just reading some comments make me realise that for now Nigeria = Big Animal farm.
In South (SE,SW,SS) just carrying working tools(cutter, driller, mechanical tools) in the car and the police sight it. They will demand for you ID Card and still ask you question before allowing to go, let alone a single individual with dagger or machete. the police will just detain you until someone come to prove otherwise with bail too.

but when it involves some people from another geopolitical zone, we will hear "they always carry it as self defence" SMH
why can't dey make a law everybody is allowed a licensed weapon

Shameless and hopeless liar. U and ur entire lineage can never see anything good about ur country. Instead of attending to this shameless lie, I prefer to tell u more names of pharmaceutical companies producing quality drugs in Nigeria and employing Nigerians. Afterall in ur warped minds none of such produces in Nigeria.
May and Baker, Emzor, Drugfield grin
bro you seem not to get the point that even our local manufacturer in technical terms don't produce but only repackage.
Most, from sweet, biscuits, food(noodles - indomie) drinks (dansa - dangote, bobo etc) still import the base ingredients, and other materials(nylon, printing/packaging materials etc) for the production which means the prices of things will still go up because the govt policies will affect it negatively.

our company just did Installation for a big firm then I realised that all the industry in Nigeria import mechanical/electrical/computerised parts for their industry, as little as bolts/nuts was imported.

the answer the m.o.d.s will give is they don't know if the report is legit. but they will be send fake news daily and counter news of the the fake story sent to front page with speed.
since Dec 1 just scroll through, you will be amazed at the news gracing front page.
I think nairaland is competing with lindaikeji just for traffic purpose.

meanwhile, zenith was using just *302# to recharge before, I bought a new line and sent text to my contact of the development then kept the line registered to zenith account at home codely (I only check it to verify alert) because anybody can take your phone recharge, even to another number but recently they added pin verification to it.

Some Tenaots Are Just Plainly Wicked. We Have A Tenant Like That Too In One Of Our Family House In Somolu. She Doesnt Have Respect For Anyone, We Took The Case To Court, She Didnt Show Up. We Even Went To A Mediation Centre, She Havent Paid Close To 2 Years Rent Now Yet She Is Acting As Though She Is Above The Law. I Wish I Was The One Incharge Of The House, I Go Don Put Madness Join Even If Na To Sleep Cell But I Go Troway All Her Load Outside Wit Or Witout Her Consent !
what surprises me is that they will not have money to pay rent, but will have money for court cases even till like two years, then Secretly packout, so you will lose the rent and money used in court cases.

just apply wisdom, don't throw her property outside, else she will claim millions was stolen in court then you will can the house rent and house but lose more than that for her property damage, if she takes the case to court

Nonsense
I temper judgement with mercy, but if you have a house in Lagos and allow emotions to rule over your judgement, they will take you to the cleaners without thinking twice.
imagine tenant owning 8months then pack some of their property, to show they want to leave but lockup a room without telling the landlady. Remember they don't call, it's the op, and the mum that do call the tenant to resolve the issue.

yes some landlord/landlady don't have joy, but many people fail to plan how to always pay their rent when budgeting.
PropertiesRe: When A Tenant Deliberately Refuses To Pay Rent by Zetra(m):
next time get report from law enforcement (Human rights /lawyer / police) before opening any locked rented property of yours. some tenants are heartless, they will laugh with you, beg you will all the names of God, call family members / religious bodies to plead for you to give them time to pay.
Then you see them buying Gen, getting pregnant, their kids entering into costly private school, but they will not plan how to always pay their rent on time when budgeting.
Lastly, when they packout suddenly and gradually after own like a year when the matter is in court and lockup the place.
nothing person never see for this Lagos with tenants.
Solution: get a competent property lawyer, it will less all these wahala, also tell your mum to stop discussing house matter too much with her tenants, they will always want to play with her emotions to favour them (I had that ish before)
but before you get a lawyer you can try these guy suggestion, I don't like it, but It do work, ask any yoruba landlord/landlady (no harm intended)

Ksslib:
“The decision to suspend this directive was taken after due consultation with industry stakeholders and the general complaints by consumers across the country.”

Forgive my obsession with little details but I find the use of the word "and" as used in that context nothing but an act of fffuckery and stupidity from the useless body who, rather than protect consumers, have sworn an oath with the devil to torment Nigerians ( as if our suffering isn't enough already).

The wicked plan was simply reversed due to consumer outrage(which I am sure they never expected), not due to some bullshit industry stakeholder meeting which we all know never took place.

Shame on NCC. Anybody who thinks there's an imaginary body - NCC or others- whose job is to protect the interest of average Nigerians like you and me is simply on a long thing. They all belong to same cabal; they are all animals, theives who all laugh at us behind our back.

Implementing policies that will see Nigerians suffer depends on one and one thing only: how we react. If the reaction is toxic, they'll quickly organise an imaginary stakeholders meeting and cancel the policy. If it's not toxic enough - then the policy stands. PIGS
@bold, they only think one way and it's how to always milk the masses

This point you raised is veryyyyyyyyyyyy important
Your account details can be changed too.
Imagine someone receiving alert on your behalf while you do all the work or writing to npower of not receiving payment.

N-power can do a text-to-phone confirmation code to verify your details before you can login. Just like when you do online payment, the 5-6digt code is sent to you phone number for confirmation.
Then we can login and change our passwords, with assurance but for now, just hope "bad belles, g-guys will not work on this flaw before we change our passwords.

for now I tried changing the password it is not updating. Please if you have done yours let me know.

Abeg tell them o. Guy the fact that some of this politicians still can't see that allocations is the main reason why this country is still poor is baffling. I guess at times this is why you need an outsider who has been exposed to show you your unclothedness every once in a while.

Development needs to start at the grassroots. Let the local govts be autonomous; raise there own revenue and take care of themselves. This is how things work in most advanced countries. The local govt provides education, water, roads e.t.c and if the local govts can't generate enough revenue to stand on there own then they should merge with neighboring local govts. The baby has to be allowed to walk at times biko.

Local govts should provide there own police force under the oversight of the state govt and they should elect there own police commissioners, judges, local govt chairmen and perm. secretaries.
you have said it all

me self wonder, after Edo is drilled of its resources
my own pain is that LGA that needs this funds for grassroots development will not see anything from the various Governors

Reconstruct this Nation, each State should generate, fund, and take care of itself from its IGR.
then pay tax to FG, you will see every State Government will quickly find ways to generate revenues and indirectly more jobs and infrastructure in every State.

Stop giving them fish, teach or force each State to learn hope to fish

I always wonder what kind / type / level of team Buhari has in his government. Especially the Information ministry.
they are not intelligent, smart,
poor research / data gathering
bad / no strategy, no winning plan
they just come on stage and speak (just like VP coming every 2weeks to say we will soon employ millions next month since Jan 2016.

they are poor/no analyst., even after Buhari reshuffle his media.
and you can imagine that this ministry budget is bigger than health or education, I can't check now.

Conversation is always boring, let's go out; No
Let's go to pool (indirectly meet people); No
then what do you want, her reply: I just want us alone
Me: Ok, so tell me what's in your mind(me trying to start a conversation)
she: nothing, I don't know what to say
Me: Oya say anything (trying to not feel frustrated)

what brought about terrorism.

Embellishments and people feel cheated (when no jobs / Social amenities), then you tax life out of their small income. so the idle minds then gets brain-washed thinking they are fighting for a good course.

I don't see how/why an African man that has a job/business generating money with provided social amenities by the government will decide to waste their lifes.

I disagree with PMB

even terrorist prone tribe/zone individuals goes to the West, become comfortable forgets/wonder why his people at home loves terrorism (his mind is occupied and he sees life a bit better than that)
