I don't know what the mods of Nairaland is trying to achieve lately because they allow old post / wrong news and even being them to Frontpage. We can endure the celebrity news choking FP. If they want this site to irrelevant blog affiliates, I don't know. this picture is an old picture of ages, all these blogger that just recycle thing and add salt, pepper to draw traffic |
I guess the Op is trying to ask for the English Nomenclature of VP. The cause of all is "English Language" imposed by our colonial master. If we had adopted pidgin as a National Language, the social media would have adjusted, and not calling our mother tongue "vernacular". |
@OP
please for the sake of humanity just remove the picture...
You are looking too mature for this. Meanwhile hope you wear bullet proof... |
Skyken99:did you pay the site that uploaded it.. No then it's illegal. You are an accomplice. |
I am against Piracy but Nigeria economy will not allow it to be stopped. Imagine someone on minimum wage (minus the unemployed) going to watch just a movie in the few cinemas. It's not just a Nigerian problem but a worldwide issue just that Africa case is different. Do you know that Computer Programs/ Software makers don't count Africa as a market place because they know it's bad market. Original MS Office pro= $500, business ver = $300 plus you will be renewing it yearly. What about subscription of anti virus, Operating System (windows /Mac) nko How many businesses even FG firms uses Original Officesuites let alone buy original Nigerian Movie. If you are watching any season film, N200 movie, xender/flashed movies, download/torrent without pay then you are guilty "will be guilty " because you are boutique to download / share someone mp3 you didn't pay for |
Where is the constant power supply to charge it.
Oh I remember we will use generator |
hope it's this one
|
princemillla:reasons for your answers |
princemillla:Exactly what I told my friend, which brt ply festa to idumota... mile2 to CMS is N100 so it's double waste of money and time(before the brt bus will get filled up). why is brt not plying mile 2 to badagry |
dplordx:1000likes. This present government act dumb, something that even SSS students see the effect of bad policy on cost of things and how to resolve it. for the bold I am beginning to thing of it too, my in-law was comfortable financially left 3years ago to S.A. his wife just went there last year for masters with the kids, he said he will never come back again. he said he will always prefer there than Nigeria |
Explorers:that Gen own tire me ooo, and I need to buy another one to support my big gen since no light and it's more economical N500 fuel can last longer at night if not heat go kill person ooo If I knew something like this will happen in 2015 I for carry my old small gen come back to lagos when I relocated instead of dashing it ... bought it 13k before election |

hike that has being implemented already, check your current per unit charge it's 30 something upward from 24 when they increased before... Disco will be "rejecting but still collecting estimating bill for that months they reject. if you refuse to pay it's for them to disconnect you, even cut and carry your wire. Fashola should find a way to enforce prepared meter to be given for all, then the payment for it will be deducted gradually a we recharge. The power sector will improve immediately, nobody will regret load" |
but seriously I do wonder if our politicians think before they talk, even a teen wouldn't say that... I wonder what all the allocation for his office is used for |
In 2009 Tesla borrowed $465 Million from the U.S. government ,they made so much money that they paid back the loan long before the agreed time . our government should do more of this indirectly providing better and sustainable jobs. I don't know way govt is trying to create jobs by themselves instead of providing enabling environment |
dingbang:fixed Hector I don't know why your speech is causing me to laugh... 100% true, because I am just about to read How to understand Women vol5 |
Reader1988:Which one is work chop allowance again? If true, why just one State and what's the amount paid |
first of all I don't like whatsapp because I don't like giving everybody my private number + everybody sees that you are online unlike bbm, where you can choose to chat without people feeling you purposely refuse to reply them because they see you are online. normally BBM is more secured that whatsapp |
Op Relax month end, there will be light for two days least 6rs/day then estimated bill will be shared at Feb beginning for darkness used in January, then the darkness will continue reading. I spend nothing less than 15k for fueling last month till today and it's on (I better pass my neighbour). If on the big gen dat means I will do fasting before Jan. end. our Dec bill reads 12k because they manage to bring 6hrs/day the last week of Dec 2016. |
Billyonaire:Bros Pls let me pm you, do that you can give me full details or format because wicked tenants usually exploit the weak slow court process in Nigeria and secretly pack out before with out paying their for like a year and some months, the court told me to look for where they moved to when I was reported to them about the new development. I lost six months from 2tenants each + the a year+, though am happy the police helped me in getting them to pay their power bills before I came back one day to see two of the tenants has left with all their property. |
people insulting the op didn't read where he stated he had his IP, cleared his cookies also before opening Google again. if his IP is Nigeria IP it will not bear Google dot com, instead it will be Google dot com dot ng zoom the screen shot address bar |
We won’t be coerced into keeping quiet while our members are being mowed down in thousands. “We, therefore, call on Christians and the good people of Nigeria to be vigilant and watchful so that these herdsmen will not take them unawares any longer,” they said. |
I suggest those that are yet to receive should start sending msg through the portal about it. some of the people I helped to apply received some didn't, they came to check when applying I wrote the right details. it's frustrating. |
we that always cry and shout give us prepaid are billed x2 our transformer is bad they came and removed some part, for two months and no light but immediately it was fixed ending of Dec 2016, light showed for 3days averagely 10hrs. bill was shared ours was 13k per flat and the other two months was still billed to us. our next house neighbour has being on 5k recharge since August till now. before it was 2k then increased to 5k, then 7k, before I read of this present increment ours is already on it 10-13k paying for darkness. I have told my landlord to use our house rent to settle and pay for prepaid meter through legit but backdoor because front door says no prepaid meter yet for now EKO distribution is worst. |
shegxyy:you have your mouth but try and use your brain first to understand. You didn't read the writeup and you didn't understand my comment, you just up out from your hide to quote me... bye |
CohenJane:sorry my bad, autocorrect. it ought to be "list to us" i.e tell us how many of the companies available now that can provide these items till to ease inflation before we start producing the raw material then the finished goods |
all these mentioned, Please the government should list to us companies in Nigeria that can supply daily, monthly, yearly for just Lagos alone without hitch. Is SON working to ensure all these Nigeria companies meet the standard. i now even the import ones (some) are not to standard but in Nigeria we allow a lot of rubbish go into production (esp edibles - juice, biscuits etc) all in the name of "Na Nigeria we they". What is government providing to promote local manufacturing in large quantities of these. example good road network, power, raw materials accessment. |
if the Eastern State can come together forget political party(just like Governors Forum) plan how to fund and build a seaport by themselves regardless of the location, then individual states plan there housing, road network then add railway system to link each states then to other geopolitical zones. it will be of great impart in their future. All these will cause their people to look home and invest in the land (they have the connection, strength and experience already) indirectly the place will just boom without much impact from their Governors again. Lived more in Lagos, and some states, I have found out what other states have in abundant is land undeveloped, so it's much easily better and cost effective to plan the state more than when it's occupied like Lagos. You have to break people houses, which is wastage of money spent, compensate some - the state spends more, time wastage, economy slowed down etc |
“But by their nature, they are usually nonchalant. They believe everything starts and ends with political power, which is very sad. They must change this attitude because it is responsible for the untold suffering that our people are going through today”, he added. how can a nation/FG for crying out, government of change plan, then act without involving people from the sector. Sometimes I think once anybody is in politics they become "stupidd" or "brainlesss" . the best option is for Nigeria Government to be privatised because every private sector knows the right things to do. |
President of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Olayiwola Shittu, in a telephone interview with The Guardian yesterday said the government was avoiding the real issues. He urged the Federal Government to solve the problems at the ports; review the auto policy and publish the duty payable on every model of vehicle to halt the regime of extortion by the customs. |
600m used two times for Christmas tree/light would have gone a long way to pay some dues but.... |
Jesuspikin8:I tell you, and they are never wrong, highest tell will yab you "is this what your mate is driving"... Iyana iba is danfo, bikes and sellers. imagine people selling with small tables in the middle of badagry Expressway @iyana iba, then the bikes coming from mile2 directions takes one way (owns the single road) even trailers give them space, |
